It is a lot like the first book easy to read. You get to know the characters more some more powers
Come to fruition and she learns to use them. All in all a good well written book.
This is a great series. I get to see Emily’s powers develop and of course all the trouble she gets herself into. It’s a mystery with magic too. You can’t get any better than that!

I have really enjoyed this series so far. The author has a great way of writing that sucks you into the characters and makes them really feel alive and real. Emily (the main character) keeps getting more and more powers and is starting to have a hero complex. In this story, we see that this becomes a downfall for her as sometimes she just isn’t enough. The character is growing in so many ways and these books show that with their wonderful writing style. I can’t wait for the next in series!

I was drawn in to this story and related to it with real life experiences that I have read about where people have died while others just looked and did nothing to help the victim. It is a really sad commentary on society to see how some people won’t help someone in need.
People need to be able to defend themselves yes but others should be ready to act to help out instead of just looking and walking away without coming to a person’s aid.
I see the “human” qualities in supernaturals that we humans need to possess. If we can’t come to the aid of people in need what does that say about our own humanity? It is really despicable how low life’s prey on the weak in what our society has deevolved into today.
Books can show what people should do in real life if faced with the same situation the characters face. Books can make a difference if
people will only incorporate those things they read about in real life situations.
This series by Laura Marie does show the good that can come about by being “human” and coming to aid those that need our help. I would hope that I’m not the only reader who is determined to be a better person as the result of this wonderful series!
Emily in over her head and she just might lose it! Almost killed more that once, made a friend of Jasmine and then not! Victor’s neighborhood watch is not what it seems, is it? What’s with Victor? Questions and more questions, but meet the Fae ; another new species and along with them another new power for Emily. The story gets better with each book, each new species, each new power and the writing flows with no errors and lots of action. My only complaint. this one book in the Teen Witch Series is too short! What can be next to find out about Emily (and Victor). To really enjoy the Teen Wtich series, you should start with Rebirth and read Inferno,Tempest and Terra Firma. They are all FUN reads.:
What a fun series. In this book Emily discovers new powers she did not know she had, makes new friends, and causes a lot of trouble. What a crazy twist in the life of a teenager. Really like the series and each book has been better than the last one.
Emily is really discovering her powers! This time the danger involves the fae and Emily discovers a nasty secret involving the humans. This was full of danger, mystery, and betrayal. Fast paced and intense! I loved it!
This series gets better with each book. The Fae are in danger and Emily is one of the few who can help them. I haven’t been a young adult for decades, but this book held my attention. It is skillfully written and fast paced. It was an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to future installments. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
Laura Marie’s The Teen Witch: Aqueous, The Teen Witch Chronicles #5 is another great adventure for Emily and the other Supernatural Creatures in Safety Beach.
Emily started with an uncontrolled Pyrokinesis, magical fire, which led to her mom moving her across the country to Safety Beach, Virginia, where Supernatural creatures live peacefully (mostly) side by side.
Although the species are supposed to keep to themselves, as well as policing themselves, Emily can’t bring herself to agree. If someone needs help, Emily feels it her duty to help.
Just when Emily begins to control her Pyrokinesis, she discovers a new power. Atmokinesis, magical control of the atmosphere, seems to come out of nowhere.
Followed by adventures and dangers, Emily then discovers Gyrokinesis, the magical control of Earth. And yet more danger.
Emily is gaining quite the reputation as a helper of all species. When she finds out about a danger to the Fae, it comes with discovery of a new power, Hydrokinesis, or the magical control of water. But can Emily help, or is she in over her head? Can her friends, both new and old, help? And what about her mother’s human live-in boyfriend and his neighborhood group? Is it a cover for a truly diabolical scheme?
Emily’s continuing adventures in The Teen Witch Chronicles is well worth the read, and 4.5 stars rounded to 5.

This is a lovely PG13 tale of fighting back against bullies, integrity, and encouraging others, and takes about four hours to read.
