I read Book 2 of The D’Azzo Family series, The Analyst, first. It had me so drawn in that I had to go back and read Book 1, The Eyewitness. I am glad that I did so. In The Eyewitness, Nancy Weeks thoroughly introduces the characters that I got to know and love in Book 1. She reveals new layers of the characters that are also in Book 2.
The Eyewitness is intensely engaging. It is a thrilling suspense story in which we get the romance end of things too. There is quite a bit of drama and murder as well that adds to the intrigue and mystery. I could not put this book down, and like The Analyst, I read this one in a day. That was back in September. I re-read it today to make sure that I did not forget anything. I did not. I felt the same thrills and aha moments. The characters came right back to me as I read.
Reading this book a second time has me prepared for the next one in the series that features Nathan D’Azzo. I can hardly wait to read Book 3!

Hooked me from the first chapter. This author keeps you guessing until the end.
I am so intrigued with Nancy C Weeks’ stories. Just when I think I know what’s about to happen, the author throws in an unexpected twist and I’m back on the edge of my seat.
In the Eyewitness, Emersyn and Alec have an undeniable chemistry. Not only do I feel like I know them, I feel like I’m in the room experiencing all of the D’Azzo family dynamics. Weeks creates a world of people and places that become a part of me as I’m reading. I can’t wait for the next story.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading this book as it’s my first book by this author. The story is brilliant, it seems well thought out and it very well written. It’s action packed with lots of suspense and romance that all lead to a HEA. I really loved reading this book.

A thriller of a story that leaves you wanting to open that second book to find out more about Shadow Man and the mysterious sniper. While the mystery continues it’s Tessa’s turn to take the lead, will she find love like Em and Alec have ?
The story could have been proofread better, incorrect tenses used and the killer’s surname changed from Larson to Lawson within a paragraph. Easy fixes.
This book grabbed my attention from page one. An exciting story with edge of your seat suspense that keeps you turning the pages to find out what happens next, you think you have it all figured out only to realize you don’t. I had a hard time putting it down but needed to so I could go to bed. Great characters that are strong and well developed. The story line keeps you guessing on what will happen. Definitely recommend! This is one of those books I could read again and again.

good read
Covers the age-old question: Who can I trust? An enjoyable and thought-provoking read.
Too little of a police story, too much of a couple’s physical interaction that detracted from an understanding what was happening.
I was looking for something to read and found this book. Once I started I couldn’t put it down! Loved the characters and the story. Can’t wait to read the next in the series!
The book told a very interesting story and kept your interest. The romantic aspect of the book was very good also.
bad language so didnt read
Good story – you will HAVE to read the next two in trilogy!
It is not a book, it is a series. One of those buy 2 or 3 more to get to the end of the story.
THE EYEWITNESS
Emersyn seems to have a target on her chest as well as a shield. Who’s out to kill her and who is playing with her? And who killed her beloved dad? All she knows is that it’s someone close — frighteningly close. Thrilling suspense, complex mystery, and hot romance. GREAT BOOK!
