Just when Boston’s family has an emergency, a dark part of his past shows up, derailing her audition. Now they’re left with a choice—believe the worst and walk away, or believe in the power of second chances.

Addison’s and Brady’s story was a joy to read from the first moment they bumped into each other and Addison immediately wasn’t a fan, to when they really connected and showed each other some true vulnerability. Wonderful characters, great story, fabulous side characters, and an amazing location made this a very enjoyable read.
Some of my favorite books contain similar things, great characters, an engaging plot and a sweet romance. This one has all of that! And it’s one you can read and enjoy in an afternoon. I love that too!
Boston…I have to say that at the beginning of the book, I shared Addison’s view of Boston. He comes across as completely self-centered, arrogant, and that because he’s a big star, everyone else should get out of his way. In fact, that’s how they first meet. He’s looking for rice and knocks her and her food down in his haste to find some. Not his best moment! But as the book goes on, I realized that there really were a lot of good things about him. I loved how he was with his brother, Ty. And the way he looked after Addie when he really didn’t have to.
I really liked Addie. She has been through a lot. She was married and her husband died not long into their marriage very suddenly. At the start of this book she’s trying to get back to her dream job of dancing by working at The Royal Palm as a dancing instructor and training for a dancing audition. Addie is really down to earth. She’s super focused on getting to her goals. That makes Boston a bit of an obstacle to that for her. But the more they get thrown together, the more she ends up liking him. I loved the dance parts and chemistry between the two.
I loved the plot of this one. It’s just a fun, quick read that is perfect for summer. This one is the start of a fun new series about The Royal Palm resort. I’m excited to get to read all of the romances!
I read this book as part of the Sweet Summer Billionaire Kisses collection. An inspiring story about Addison Adair who is a dancer whose husband died, and Boston Brady a professional football player. She is working at a resort and practicing for a dance company audition. He comes to the resort with his brother who has ALS and is starting an experimental treatment. They take dance lessons, and the story develops from there with several twists and turns.
I enjoyed this story. Imagining a football player light on his feet dancing with a professional dancer was fun. I loved the interplay between Boston and Addison and his clever comebacks to her comments. Witty wording and heartfelt sharing on the beach at midnight made for a pleasurable read. In the background almost is the pull on the emotions of his brother Tyler facing a life threatening illness that leaves them unsure how to deal with it. I love Taylor Hart’s writing style which is easy to read and flows well.
I loved this book and it’s focus on dancing. It was wonderful and different. I really enjoyed how we got a lot of Ty’s story here too. These Brady characters and their books are all amazing!!
I love the series of the Brady brothers. The story of Ty is heart wrenching.
Oh, this book made me cry! Yes, all of Taylor Hart’s books pull at the heartstrings but this book seriously made me drip tears down my face. Such a tender story of love – gentle, romantic love and fierce, brotherly love.
The characters are truly memorable – Addison is hurting after her beloved husband’s death but determined to get back to her dancing career and Boston is hurting from his baby brother’s battle with ALS but determined to be less self-focused and to travel a new and improved road in life. The other four Brady brothers are pretty awesome, too, though only Ty makes a true appearance in this book. Addison and Boston’s romance is slow, heart-warming, and sigh-inducing. Boston’s powerful and heart-wrenching loyalty and love for his brother make up the core of the emotional drive in the book. This is book 3 in the Brady brothers series and though it can be read as a stand-alone I recommend starting from Dax’s story and then moving to Ziggy’s and then Boston’s. If you enjoy contemporary romance with a bit of football and dancing that will make you sigh and cry, this is the book for you.
I received a copy of the book from the author and was under no obligation to post a review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.
