This is A TOTAL MUST READ!!! I knew from the very first page that I was going to love this book, but I wasn’t prepared for just how much. I fell head over heels for this book. Gabriel and Clementine’s story drew me in and I read this in one setting…I just couldn’t put it down. It really is just that good. I love both characters and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. The suspense is killing me not knowing what awaits for me in the next book.
Logan Chance has become a new favorite author of mine and I HIGHLY recommend that you read his work….It’s Phenomenal!!!
“I was always marrying Prince Charming. But, Gabriel isn’t the prince. He’s the villain in this fairy tale.” ~ Clementine
I am really enjoying this story and can’t wait to find out what happens next.
Gabriel and Clementine are forced into a marriage, but will it really be of convenience? This couple has tension just waiting to erupt but there are other forces at play.
Bride was everything I come to expect from a Logan Chance book and a whole lot more. Clementine and Gabriel your typical couple and don’t have a conventional romance but that what makes this book even better.
This was a suspenseful and entertaining read. There is hidden intrigue and the deep and dark undertones running throughout this book are sublime and definitely kept me guessing. There are definitely conspiracy theories running through my mind right now!
I love the tension Logan has created within this story. I blown away with the chemistry and the complex story between Clementine and Gabriel. The storyline had me glued to every page. Now time to play the waiting game and anticipate what will happen next in Groom!
The demands of the dead, still haunt the living.
Bride, the 5 star must read first book in The Deceit Duet by Logan Chance, is the story of Clementine Bright and Gabriel Prince. Their story is one of an arranged marriage but it’s a demand from the dearly departed that gives this story a twist that draws you in from start to finish.
Clementine is a smart hard working single mother who has yet to find her Prince Charming not that she’s trying. At this point in her life, a relationship let alone marriage is one of the farthest things on her mind. That is until the contract to marry one of the richest bachelors around. The problem, she can’t stand Gabriel Prince, one of the riches most eligible bachelors.
Gabriel is smart, hard working, and rich who has no desire to be anyone’s Prince Charming. That is until his deceased grandfather maintains control over him. Not only does his late grandfather state he has to marry, he also specifies who. This does not settle well for the man who loves and thrives on control.
The characters of Clementine and Gabriel are complex and well written. The clashes within their personalities are overcome by the attractive chemistry they have on each other. Her fierce independence clashes with her desire to do better for her son, as well as Gabriel’s need for control. Along with the great character development, the entire storyline kept me reading from start to finish. I didn’t want it to end. However I will say that if you are not a fan of cliffhangers, you might wait to read Bride after the release of Groom. I don’t mind cliff hangers but I understand that some don’t care for them and will wait until the series is complete.
I received an advanced copy of Bride and voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Holy cow, just when I think Logan Chance can’t top his last book he surprises me once again. Bride is a funny, heartfelt sexy read with a suspenseful twist. It ends on a cliffee but luckily Groom is scheduled to out shortly (which is a good thing because this reader is dying to see what happens). The book is very well written with some characters you just want to hug and others you just want to slap upside the head and hope they get their stuff together.
This is a quick read that had me smiling, laughing and wanting to see what happens to these two star crossed people. Gabriel Prince’s grandfather (Joseph) has died. In his will he has left Gabriel his fortune provided he marries. But he can’t marry just anyone, he must marry Clementine,, a woman who wants absolutely nothing to do with him. But Gabriel is a man used to getting what he wants so he offers her a contract giving her 10 million to be his wife for one year. Clementine, knows this will set up her and her small son for life but can she honestly marry a man she not only doesn’t love but can’t stand to be around? So Clementine comes up with conditions of her own before she’ll agree to sign. From her the story takes off. These two are like oil and water. Clementine is no pushover and I think Gabriel has met his match. But someone doesn’t want the wedding to happen. But who and why? What happens when this platonic farse starts to shift and neither willing to admit it to themselves or each other? This is an Outstanding read that will leave you breathless, nervous for the future and on pins and needles waiting for part 2, Groom, to hit the shelves. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars of a phenomenal start to the duet.
I really enjoyed Bride. Gabriel and Clementine are getting married according to Gabriel’s grandfather’s will, both are reluctant. The chemistry between these two are off the charts. I love Chementine’s feistiness and her ability to keep Gabriel on his toes. It’s a fun story but it does end in a cliffhanger. Groom cannot come soon enough.

He needs her. His grandfather made sure of that.
She doesn’t need him as such, but he paints a pretty picture and offers some fantastic extras.
A hundred questions, a thousand thoughts.
Could this arranged marriage work. It’s only a year of their lives, easy peasy right..?
Oh wow what a fantastic start to the duet.
I’m left wondering, and waiting, whilst frustrated that it ended right there.
They are complete opposites it’s like prince and the pauper.
He has serious control issues, but my, hes dashing in a suit!
Shes not a socialite who titters away, she’s an intelligent firecracker who’s not afraid to speak her mind.
The sexual fireworks were beautiful! I cant wait for more! Their relationship walks a fine line between wanting and denial. Its fascinating.
My only real criticism of this book is the length. I wanted more of him, of her of them!
I have two burning questions in my mind and I’m desperate for answers, hurry up “the groom” the concluding part is all I can say!
