Oliver and Peter, pumpkin eaters, want a mate, but cannot keep her… spice…
When Pepper checks on her pumpkin patch, a wild bear scares her into the arms of Grizzlyfir Crew’s head carpenter, lumberjack werebear Oliver. Pepper’s choice seems simple. Oliver’s handsome, charming, and building her a booth so that her pumpkin patch will be more popular than ever…but there are rumors about a ghost haunting the pumpkin patch! Does Oliver know more about the ghost than he lets on?
When Hemlock Crew sends their new lumberjack Peter to guard Pepper from wild bears and to assist Oliver in constructing stuff for the pumpkin patch, Pepper develops an attraction to both shifters. She can’t resist a tall, dark, and handsome grizzly with a wild side. Which bear will Pepper pick — good guy Oliver, or bad boy Peter? Or, will the two bears’ bickering cause Pepper to boo both bears before she ghosts them?
The only things that could make things worse are the fact that there’s a rumor going around about the pumpkin patch being haunted by a ghost. Oh, and Pepper has to come up with a brand new pumpkin pie recipe for the bakery. This Halloween romance is full of tricks, but in the end, will Pepper get her treats?

Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
“I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.”
My Thoughts – 5 out of 5 Unicorns – I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!! In the future, I will pick up my own copy as I do most of Sable’s books!
This is the 3rd book in this series, but it is still in the same awesome bear-rific world, and we are back in Port Jameson! This is for adults only due to the steamy content involving this trio of mates!
This story involves another baker at Bear Claw Bakery who specializes in pumpkin pies, and two building bears from the two camps. I love how Sable brings childhood stories to life as adult stories. I love how Halloween was an active part of this pumpkin story with ghosts and scares. Pepper is a strong woman who doesn’t put up with drama. She has her world turned upside down by these two bears she likes. I really like her boss Patricia and the bear bosses too! I can’t wait for their story!
I highly recommend to bear lovin’ fans who love Sable’s style of bringing fairy tales to life in Port Jameson with romance and HEA endings! Her bears are unique with their mate marks!
Very enjoyable and entertaining read and a fantastic addition to the series. Love all of the fairy tale refernces!!! So if you steamy ménage with plenty of action and intrigue throw into the mix I definitely recommend that you one click this series you won’t regret it. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
I hate is when I like the men in a book so much it makes me jealous of the heroine. But here I am, so jealous of Pepper and her Oliver and Peter. This book kept me reading into the wee hours to finish it. I didn’t want to put it down. This is such a fun series. I seem to enjoy the next more than the last. If you want a fun escape, grab these while they’re HOT!
Pepper Reed is a curvy baker at the Bear Claw Bakery and she takes care of the pumpkin patch there.
Oliver is a werebear answer he works for Grizzly fir Crew. Normally he is a good guy.
Peter is a werebear to and he works at Hemlock crew were the rich bad boys are.
After getting to know them pepper has a crush on both. So who will win or will everyone lose because the two bears will not stop bickering and driving her nuts? Oh your going to have to read to find out!
This one was cute and funny and oh so spicy. The characters are fun, the story was great. So if 3 is your special number then don’t miss this one . Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Pepper is the baker for the Bear Claw Bakery. Every year she tries to come up with a new item to add to the bakery for their fall menu. This year she wants to male a new pumpkin pie with gingerbread added. Will she get her recipe finished in time for Halloween sales ? Her time is also being taken up by two bears who have decided they want to date her. Will her life be changed by Halloween ? Will she get rid of the ghost haunting her pumpkin patch ? She definitely has a lot on her plate. This is quite an interesting tale with a little spice added on the side.
A really good shifter romance.
These three, Pepper, Oliver & Peter, cracked me up.
Pepper is in charge of everything pumpkin at the Bear Claw Bakery… the pumpkin patch and the yummy recipes she uses them in. Oliver is a lumberjack bear shifter and a builder who has been sent to build a booth for Pepper and all the pumpkin things but he realizes that she is his mate from the second he sees her. Peter is also a lumberjack bear shifter and a carpenter who knows Pepper is his mate. Now they just have to decide if they can all be happy, together, or if they are all going to be miserable apart.
This is the third book in the Freshly Baked Furry Tails series and can be read as a standalone but is much better when read in the order it is written.
I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is book 3 of this series. You do not have to read the first two books but it does help with the overall story but it is a standalone book. Pumpkins are Pepper’s passion and having the patch right there at the bakery helps to make sure they are well tended too. She has big plans for the pumpkins this year and Patricia the Bakery manger is agreeing with her. But she needs help and that comes in the forms of Oliver from Grizzlyfir and Peter from Hemlock. These two lumberjack crews never get along and both of these bears want to eat Peppers pie. Both think she is their fated mate and Pepper has seen the evidence of which of these bears is her fated mate but can she convince them of this. This was a fun read, a little different from the first two the love scenes were much tamer and not as many. The story line jumped a little but it all come together at the end. This book also had me craving pumpkin pie! And Gingerbread cookies!!
A nice take on Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater
Pepper, the pumpkin master baker, gets volunteered to work with Oliver and Peter, lumberjack bears from rival camps, to turn the bakery’s pumpkin patch into a pumpkin stand. As the story progresses past shenanigans harm the patch, current shenanigans could derail their plans, and future shenanigans might keep the patch growing. Pumpkin Bears is a nice take on the Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater nursery rhyme and full of shifter shenanigans, both intentional and not, that will create some ideas for you next Halloween season.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Pepper had lot of ideas to make pumpkins stand out, but she was a little doubtful. Oliver and Peter were sure of how to help her and despite their antagonism they knew they had to work together to have their sweet pumpkin. Liked the interesting and detailed descriptions and narrations that made me enjoy following their ideas and “the confessions”. Witty characters, good emotions, amusing scenes, romance and lot of passion. An entertaining story that I liked.
I received a copy of this book from Prolific Works and I chose to review it. This one is well written but I thought something was missing. I am a fan of Sable Sylvan and I enjoy her books. This isn’t my favorite my book. That is my problem, not the book or the author or the book. Please give this one a chance. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
Love this series and well worth reading especially if you love books about shifters.
This is a great story with great characters that you will love. I loved this book and can’t wait for the next one. Must read!
I received an ARC copy of this book.
Great story another great read in this series. Love Pepper she is lady that no what she wants and how to get. Look forward the next in the series.
This story is cute. It has some of the problems that I imagine could pop up in a menage. I like that Pepper knows what she wants and is not afraid to go for it. A very good story. I really like it. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
