None of us can truly know all we would be capable of until we are driven to it.When the man Abbey met on Facebook turns out to be anything but the caring, thoughtful and romantic person she thought him to be, she finds herself trapped in his isolated house on the outskirts of a small town in western Nebraska. Despite her overwhelming despair and the chances of her escaping being somewhere between … somewhere between slim and none, Abbey knows she has to get free… Or die trying.
Back home in London, England, no texts or calls from Abbey has alarm bells ringing for her flat-mate. When Abbey fails to make her return flight, Cristina heads to the states to search for her best friend, but where does she even begin to look for her?
A Person Could Disappear Here is a tale of courage in the face of overwhelming odds, never giving up hope, friendship, secrets and lies.

A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George is an amazing read. This story had me on the edge of my seat at points and trying to figure out all the puzzles. The story is told from two points of views. First, is Abbey, who has traveled to meet a man she met online. The second is from the view of Cristina. She is Abbey’s friend and is set to find Abbey when she doesn’t return from meeting the man. I will not say more about the plot specifically. Just know that this is an emotional read and the author put research in to get to the heart of the subject. I was kept wondering how everything would play out in the end. The subject is tough but I believe it was handled well and kept realistic. I am going to be on the lookout for more from this author in the future.
Terri George is a new to me author and A Person Could Disappear Here was an okay read. This book had an amazing plot, however in my opinion was missing some very key elements. I found the author could have spent a few more minutes character building before jumping into the story with both feet first. I wasn’t as empathetic to the characters and their quest to find their missing British friend In the US as I could have been because I didn’t really know them or connect with them before their adventure. I also found it to be lacking any real action, and when you think kidnapping, you associate action with it. There was some action, but it was lacking excitement until closer to the end of the book. However there is definitely an element of suspense . What I did find awesome was the cross between British Dialect and American Dialect. Usually when I read a book like this, I have a hard time because I don’t know the meaning of all the words, and the grammar is funny. This didn’t happen this time. I was able to read cover to cover without Google Assistant. I really enjoyed that this book educated me a bit. It was evident in their search for their friend that the laws mentioned were researched and not fabricated. The twist at the end was unforeseen and probably the best part of the story! 4 out of 5 stars!
A Person Could Disappear Here by Terry George is a mind bending read in a sense that it feels so real that you feel chills running down your spine … it is an emotional story that tells us a story how far we might go in search of a perfect partner … it is scary … it reminds me of those many stories we have seen in the news and been horrified by … It is also a story of faith and hope and courage …
We have Abbey who comes all the way from the UK to meet with the guy she has met online … Jensen … he seems so perfect … and he is so skilled at playing her! You can imagine what happens next … And then there is Cristina, Abbey’s best friend since they were five years old! Best friends never give up! She knows something has happened to Abbey so she grabs her brother and they head to the US to find Abbey!
The writer tells us majority of the story through Abbey’s journal entries and that makes it even more real, it makes you to start thinking what it means to have no control over your life, your body … no way out … what would you do in Abbey’s shoes?

Talk about Mind blown! I was all into this story, thinking it was going down one road and boy oh boy does it take an unexpected turn.
I won’t be giving even one detail away, as all of this needs to be read to appreciate and understand the amazing book this is.
I want a bestfriend like in this book, she was amazing and persistent.
This book is written in part diary form, and part present tense and was easily followed. I have now found a new author to follow!
A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George has written an awesome thriller. From the first page to the last page I was stuck like glue to my kindle. This is the first book by Terri George and it will not be my last one. Her characters are well defined and complicated. I felt a connection to the characters throughout the book. The plot was intriguing. It was a emotional roller coaster ride that frighten me because it is so believable. I know I was screaming out loud as I was reading and my husband was a little concerned but I kept on reading. Out of respect for the author’s request, I am not going to spoil any part of the story. You will have to read it for yourself. I recommend read it while it is still light out. Terri George I cannot wait to read your next book.

Ok so first I’m wondering why I haven’t read anything by this author up to this point. This was an amazing book, one that totally messed with my mind.
I cant even go into any of the storyline because Im afraid I will say too much and that absolutely would not be fair to anyone thinking about reading this story., and you really must read this story.
My jaw is still on the floor, this author totally floored me and I LOVED it, that is one of my favorite things about reading is when I have no idea what’s going to happen and then I have to go back and reread while asking myself…Whoa…hold on…what did I just read.
I loved the friendship feel in this story as well as the family bonds and the whole meeting someone on FB and how true so much of that is.
I’m simply speechless and can not wait to go find more books by this author, I literally could not put this book down and if this is any indication of the writing style of this author…Count me in! I also want to mention how much I love the cover of this book..Just beautiful.

Wow, this story took me on an emotional rollercoaster and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire read. This is a captivating mystery that I could not put down. The way this book is written made it so I felt a strong connection to the Abbey and Cristina and I really loved how strong their strong friendship is. This book is so real and even if we don’t want to we also get to know her abductor Jensen as well. There are moments in this story that are hard to read but those moments are part of what makes this such a great read. In order to find out if Cristina finds Abbey or if she escapes this is a must read. There definitely some unexpected twists, I’m not going to give anything away, so let me just say you definitely need to read this book. I highly recommend this five star read.

A Person Could Disappear Here is an addictive novel that I could not put down. There is mention of rape, abduction, and abuse in this novel that one should be aware of before hand in case the reader is not a fan of something like that. There were several difficult scenes that I read through. My heart ached for main characters Abbey and Cristina. They both had their own forms of torture taking place in this novel. I really enjoyed the storyline though even if it was a bit darker than what I usually read. I do highly suggest this novel though!
A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George was a raw realistic read, that will have you second guessing what you believe to be true, and have you wondering what you would do in Abbey’s shoes.
My first read by this author, and I have to say I’m going to be adding them to my watch list. This story was a tough one, it’s as I said, raw, emotional and has many grey areas. It makes you think, and it showcases the dangers of grooming and stockholm syndrome. It’s easy to judge when you’re not the one in the situation. Terri Geros did a wonderful job with this book, talented you can tell heavy research went into this read.
Told in dual POV, we not only get Abbey’s journal like entries we get her best friends Cristina’s. She truly shone and was a major driving force in this story. Relentless, nothing was going to stop her, and I loved that strong friendship and love. I liked how Addy’s story was told through the journal like entries, it felt more personal, and it makes you connects on a deeper level. It’s helps with the outside looking in, and it adds a layer of complexities to the plot, instead of you’re normal, disappear and find, type mysteries.
Overall this book is a super high recommendation from me, and it gets my stamp of approval. You will not regret this read, even if some parts will be harder to read then others, but that realism, that real world situation, makes this book more than a must read, but a necessity. It highlights the dangers that surround social media, fake personas, and how easy it is to completely have someone fall head over heels, not knowing what hells await.
Happy Reading

A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George is a suspense thriller and Wow, my mind is officially blown. Never in a million years would I have predicted the ending. Wow, just Wow. So not what I expected. The storyline is like nothing I have read or imagined. It is a gripping and captivating tale that is raw and powerful and also sinister in its development. Terri has masterfully woven the threads of this tale and turned it on it’s head. It is not an easy read but there is no putting it down as you have to know, you need to know how it ends. Emotionally you will not be the same. On the edge of my seat was an understatement. Heart beating in my chest with thoughts of fight or flight in my head I continued on and once again, WOW. The things we do for love.
I am not going to talk about the plot, which is so clever, I will leave it for you to read and enjoy on your own.
I loved this mystery-thriller from cover to cover. This is a well written story that is engaging and creative. I loved the twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat and kept me turning pages. This is a story about hope, survival and friendship. Abbey meets a man on Facebook but she finds herself trapped in his house. When she doesn’t come home her friend Christa decides to go find her. What happens after that you will have to read but it worth picking up and a must read.
A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George. This book is amazing. It hooks you as soon as you read the first chapter. Its the story of Abbey who lives in London and just like every other young girl in the world is looking for love. She meets a guy named Jensen from Denver on Facebook who she corresponds with for a lengthy period of time. He finally convinces her to fly to Denver to meet him.. Her best friend and flat mate Christina is totally against this. Once Abbey gets to Denver and meets Jensen he seems to be everything she’s looking for until he’s not. Parts of the book are brutal but so true to life. This is something that could happen in today’s crazy world. Its about friendship and the depths that a friend will go to in order to save her friend. This book was amazing and I read it in one sitting. I’m going to look up all Ms. George’s books and read them.
