ANDRIUS

Let myself hope.

Chaos, love, and a new life…..
Violet and Andrius have been through so much. Andrius finds out really who Violet is and he looses it but not bad. Justina is also falling for his therapist. But he still has made a decision he will trade information for his freedom to walk away. They move to Greece to start a new. They have their family and friends but no worries of the past. They will try to bury it but also he aware.
What can I say? This is a very good conclusion to this duet. It had an unexpected twist that I didn’t see coming but over all it was very entertaining! It was a fairly quick read with action, suspense, and very steamy romance. I very much enjoyed this duet!
I volunteered to read a free pre-release copy for my honest opinion and that is: I recommend this book, this duet, and this author.
I was still crying when I started this book (cause The Gift just tore at my heart) and the beginning of The Hit wasn’t any happier.
Thank the lord that I didn’t have to read long before things looked like they would work out. I say looked like, cause there are a few twists that keep you on your toes and sometimes even I would start to wonder if my love-bugs would end up together.
They did, not giving anything away guys. We all know that romances need HEA, otherwise what’s the point of all the heartache and build up? And this book has all of that.
I truly do love Andrius as one of my favorite male leads in a romance. He’s rough and hard and not the person that you should want, but dang! If S.R. Jones didn’t write him so freaking well. And Violet, little Zaika, she’s just such a strong female lead, even when she acts like a “stupid” girl sometimes (you can’t really blame her. She’s had a rough go).
Anyways, I did tear up a bit at the end but I was SOOOOO HAPPY with the end. I want to read the whole series again…….
The Hit: Bratva Vows – Book Two
This is the action part of the story! Violet’s beginnings, her life story is now out in the open as is Andrius’s history, on top of all that Justina actually physically hurt Violet. At least Andrius held himself back and he kept himself from physically hurting her. Now he needs her gone from the house, he needs to take in everything he now knows and figure out how to keep Violet safe. Now he is not just protecting her from himself, but from his boss Allyov, and the other bratva boss Kyrylo.
Andrius has two friends Damen and Alesso come and remove her from his home and take her somewhere where she will be safe. Until he has everything in order he can’t even make a decision if she will come back to the house or just be hidden from everyone. Both Violet and Andrius have a lot to think about. Can he keep her safe, should he send her away; while Violet is wondering can he get over who her father was, can they have any kind of future, does he love her, how will she live if he doesn’t take her back.
This last book holds everything that is now out in the open between them and brings them closer together as a couple. Violet however, I think due to her younger age and not so much world experience could end up throwing away what might be a good thing for her and in the long run possibly putting Andrius in a situation that could mean life of death for him.
This last book is quite an emotional ride, not just for Andrius and Violet but for Justina as well as some of the periphery characters that have joined Andrius in his bid to keep Violet safe from the expanded danger.
All and all these three books made for a great weekend read and I will happily read an S. R. Jones book(s) in the future. Probably when I get a need for some weekend Mafia in my reading life. Lastly as with the first two books congratulations of again having a cover that gives the reader a total view of what Andrius might look like, along with how his hands look at the end of the day.
I loved the first two books to this series (the first book is a prequel, so I don’t know if that counts) but anyway, I did enjoy them and gave them high stars. I loved the depths of them and how the characters interacted.
Now on to this story. I have to say I was kind of disappointed; this book was like reading the other two almost all over again. The beginning was kind of weird, after the tough ending of the last book I expected so much more between Andrius and Violet when I started this one. I was confused about why they were almost so lovely to each other. Once we get past that then we have the other Mafia issue with a weird shooting and Andrius with his leg and then him leaving things as they were.
So bottom line. I gave this book four stars because yea we had to read it after how the last book ended. But I am not sure if I liked this story. So I didn’t know where to go with this one. Kind of sad.
Oh my lord… I was waiting for this book for so long that I thought I would go bananas…
The impact the first book had in me made eager to read the next one.
SR Jones has a way with words that will hook you up… It happened to me and I had only read one book.
Her writing is raw, wild, dark and with so much feelings and emotions in between… I can’t say enough to make her justice.
The Hit is the third book from the Bratva Vows series and you must read the prequel The Trap and then The Gift. It’s imperative that you read them because if you don’t you will not be able to understand this book.
This book keeps telling us Andrius and Violet’s story…
As you know Victoria was gifted to Andrius by a Mafia Lord. A gift Andrius didn’t wanted but kept it.
But things have happened and now…
OMG why? Why? Why? I want more… Please… More…
I’m in love. This series nailed it and left me wanting to know more about a few characters that are mentioned in this book. The need to know how? Why? When? I have a bunch of questions that need answers.
Amazing plot, super engaging, hot, wild and dark.
It was amazing the way this story progressed because it left me wanting to keep reading and reading.
How can someone have so much deamons and be able to fight them all?
This book presented us with love, loyalty, desire as well and revenge, loss, betrayal and crime…
So much had happened that I saw myself biting my nails… Oh lord.
This book was the perfect combination of drama and desire.
SR Jones I’m in love and I can’t wait to read your other books…
When will we have Damon’s story? Soon right?
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Overall rating: 4.5
This storyline pulses with intensity! Andries and Violet sear the words off the pages with the heat of their passion. Their pasts mirror each other yet are on opposing sides, and I am in awe of this authors brilliance! There are no lulls in this tale so I found it easy to lose myself while reading. Hot and steamy saturates these pages so this is meant to be read by adult readers. This can be read in an afternoon. All my reviews are always voluntarily written. (ku)
So happy to have found SR Jones and this Bratva duet. An emotional journey with Andrius and Violet. This was an intense read with challenges for both characters and the reader! A loved everything about this and how SR Jones takes us to the finish. My only complaint, too short! I expect we’ll be seeing more, and I hope Andrius and Violet are back in our lives in future books!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Keep your friends close, and your enemies in your bed….Violet was taken, kidnapped and given to him. A cold-blooded, unforgiving hitman with sexy eyes and an irresistible body. She only went and fell for him and believed the lie of his beauty. But, it all turned ugly and dark and now she is adrift. Andrius believed that Violet belonged to him. After all she was kidnapped and give to him to keep. But he let himself hope and it all came crashing down in the worst way. Now he has to figure out if he can save her. Save himself. Because when the lies and deceit fall away, can the truth be enough.
The Hit is the second book in the Bratva Vows Duet. These books are dark and may hold triggers for some people. You can also not read The Hit without reading The Gift first. Your going to be so lost if you try to do that. The Hit takes off right were the Gift left off so you are not jumping into the future and a little on the lost side like some series I have read. This is the pay off. The book were Andrius knows that he has to keep Violet safe and that has gone and fallen in love with the woman that was kidnapped and given to him. Andrius has realized just exactly who Violet is and she has realized who her father is and it feels like the entire world has blown up. This book is good and will have you reading as fast as you can. These are both novella sized books so you will devour them. I am so glad I got to read these books. They were my first time reading S.R. Jones but I am sure it won’t be my last time.
What an ending to a great series. This had so much action and twists it kept you on the edge of your seat. Love the ending. It is an HEA. Enjoy
Violet knows what she felt with Andrius felt real, but she still can’t get past what happened, can she ever forgive him.
Andrius knows what he wants to do is risky, even being unsure if they can work, he still knows he has to protect Violet, even unsure of them with everything he has learnt he knows they have a connection that can’t be denied.
Can they work through everything from the past and move forward or will what Andrius wants to do put them both in danger.
The Hit by SR Jones is book two in the Bratva Vows and continues the story of Violet and Andrius. Since the first book ‘The Gift’ starts their story you should really read that first to enjoy this one. Their is a Prequel too called ‘The Trap’ that I haven’t yet read but just making note in case you want to start from the beginning. This starts where the other book left us and we see the uncertainty in Violet along with Andrius who is working through what he has learned.
This has been a page turner of a read for me…enjoyed this series.
What a conundrum…falling in love, secrets being found, trust turn to betrayal, what happens to the love….read this exciting book to find out the conclusion. Loved it!!
Exceptional story in this Brilliant Series!!
Super emotional beginning (please tell me you read book #1 – The Gift) as Andrius and Violet realize there is an early, and unfortunate, connection between them and their families. Danger from the mob, uncertainty in relationships, and special men (already taken, sorry ladies) who will guard Violet so well that if she does not want to stay with Andrius, they will “steal” her away to keep her safe.
“I once read a psychology book that claimed love was a form of mental illness that when we fall in love, we lose all reason and do crazy things for it. Some people get addicted to the feeling, the author claimed. I’d rolled my eyes at the time, but now I get it… If this is falling in love. If this is what it feels like, it’s the best high I’ve ever had.”
Exceptional. Heart-wrenching. Complicated. So many great adjectives, and fast flipping pages to find out what happens.
*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***
Violet doesn’t know if Andrius is going to get rid of her permanently. Andrius doesn’t know how he’s going to handle what he’s learned about Violet, but he knows he has to keep her safe. The end to this powerful duet is as intense and compelling as its beginning. Violet and Andrius’s relationship is a roller coaster of passionate and surprising twists and turns and HOT, steamy chemistry. It’s a gripping tale full of emotions, drama, and intrigue. This is an intensely captivating and enthralling love story which will keep you involved from beginning to end. I highly recommend this remarkable duet!
The final installment of this romantic suspense novel is finally here! Andrius and Violet’s story continues and you won’t be disappointed. When past secrets are finally revealed and truths are unleashed can you still want to protect the girl you came to care for? Andrius has a lot on his plate trying find a way to keep Justina and Violet safe while finally becoming the mafia’s second in command. Will he be able to protect what is his and still get his revenge? This is a wild ride and great ending to this series! Told in dual POV
This one starts off right where The Gift ends so if you haven’t read The Gift read that first! Violet and Andrius have quite a few twists and turns and misunderstandings but through it all Andrius is sure of one thing, he has to keep Violet safe, from himself and from the outside world. Violet knows she is all sorts of messed up and has demons and shouldn’t care for Andrius but she cannot help herself. These two really bring out the best in each other. All the way to the ending which left me feeling all warm inside and closing my kindle with a sigh…now I’m looking forward to Damen’s story.
