This is a great read by Maddie Taylor. The story is steamy and sexy. If you love daddy Doms and age play then this is a must read
Lots of powerful emotions, an amazing love story, and so much heat!
Firstly, age play is not something that interests me in real life. It’s not something I want to try it out in my personal life. However, this story is so nicely written that I can’t really find any fault with it. It follows the story of Aiden & Amanda as they seek to explore & add an age play dynamic to their already kinky lifestyle. What I really liked was that this story showed that not all age play is the same – there is a whole spectrum which is covered by the same umbrella & just because 1 type does it for you, doesn’t mean that it will be that way for all. I’ve read a few books from this author now and have always found them to be consistently well written and enjoyable and this book doesn’t disappoint in any way.
Amanda has definitely not had a peaches and cream life. Well except for her husband, that is. The product of a teenage pregnancy, her father walked away and never looked back. Her mother died when she was 10 and she was forced to live with and care for her grandmother. Her saving grace? Her wonderful, successful and oh so Dominant husband, Aiden. A lackluster scene leads Aiden to making some changes in their dynamic. He suggests a Daddy Dom/little girl weekend experiment. Shocked at first, Amanda agrees to be Mandy for the weekend. Their experiment procides some astonishing revelations and gives them a roadmap to move forward in their D/s relationship as well as deepening their love.
I wasn’t sure where this story was going in the beginning but it definitely went in the right direction. A truly enjoyable story of one couple’s journey to meet both their needs. Mandy and Aiden are a great couple.
While i love Maddies books, this one was great but albeit a bit short i thought. While i loved the story of Amanda trying out her little side for the weekend, i was hoping for more showing how she enjoyed the role after giving it that weekend.
I really did like both the characters, Aiden he knew just how to handle her bratty side while Mandy tried him at just about every turn on day one..lol
Another must read before turning in for the night.
Tough Love: Mandy’s Take Charge Daddy is a stand alone romance all about trust, love, and bringing your relationship to its fullest potential! Aiden and Amanda have been married for a year, have a solid relationship, are Dom and submissive, but after a “nice” scene, Aiden knows he needs to change something. Hoping to only bring them closer together, Aiden sets up a special weekend for Amanda, where she can explore her hidden little. Can he gain her full trust and what will happen at the end of the weekend?
I was positively delighted by this story! There is a wonderful mix between the true bond between Aiden and Amanda, their steamy scenes, their age play scenes, building their trust, and breaking through walls. I loved seeing Amanda figure out what works best for her, as a 3, 9, and teenager, and figuring out how she can push Aiden. I loved that she was conflicted about what she was feeling, but loved how Aiden was there to comfort and soothe her worries. Aiden was an amazing husband, Dom, and Daddy, and I loved how smoothly he was able to transition between them, based on what Amanda or little Mandy needed. Their relationship is definitely a work in progress, (the book ends happily), but I loved that just because they were married, there weren’t things for them to work on and conquer. This book has a bit of angst, a lot of love, and a storyline that had me flipping through the pages!
I like that Maddie Taylor’s Tough Love was a glimpse into an already married couples life.
I must admit I was mad at Aiden at the beginning of the story but he definitely redeemed himself as he showed Amanda/Mandy (and the reader)how much he loved her and how attuned he was to her needs. This was a great book about discovering who you are and healing old wounds and how relationships evolve.

Sweet with Heat!
“Tough Love: Mandy’s Take-Charge Daddy” is a professionally crafted, DD/lg themed story featuring a newly married (BDSM lifestyle) couple exploring the world of DD/lg play. The narrative focus is primarily on the relationship dynamic and the couple’s exploration into the nearly limitless conceptual, personal practices within the lifestyle. With the guidance of her loving husband and Dom, Amanda is encouraged to explore the psychological regression of “Mandy” at various ages. The couple’s journey is fraught with conflict relative to Amanda’s apprehension toward the lifestyle, relationship insecurities and self-doubt which manifest through “Mandy’s” inappropriate actions or behaviors. As the relationship dynamic develops, the reader is treated to the heartwarming way in which the characters transform to accommodate and execute their new roles. Although sexual intimacy is not the primary focus within the DD/lg exploration, encounters are frequent, tastefully explicit and sizzling hot.
“Tough Love: Mandy’s Take-Charge Daddy” will undoubtedly appeal to those familiar with the DD/lg lifestyle as well as readers who are simply curious. Additionally, readers new to the genre might find the novel a more moderate experience since infancy and related elements (e.g., bottles, cribs and diapers) are not incorporated into the story-line.
Children 18 and over only due to sexually explicit content within a power exchange dynamic!

3 1/2 stars
I enjoyed Aiden and Amanda story.
They are newlyweds and also in the BDSM lifestyle.
When Aiden feels something if off with Amanda he wants to start trying something new in the life.
Amanda is a bit apprehensive about the Daddy/little girl dynamics.
But agrees to try it dor Aiden and also because she’s intrigued.
What I really appreciated about the story is the commitment between Aiden and Amanda.
There love is unwavering.
But they truly share a deep unbreakable bond with one another.
They will go to any lengths and do whatever is necessary to meet each other’s neeeds.
I really loved this and I thought Aiden the Dom and Husband was so attentive and put Amandas needs first trying to figure out the right dynamic that works for them and it was so interesting seeing Amanda as little Mandy even though she was bratty which I loved LOL and all the things Aiden fulfilled for her he was the perfect Daddy and it suited him and it was a beautiful caring loving story with so much heart and soul poured into it as they find themselves. Wonderful characters and beautiful captivating words.
Newly married couple, Aiden and Amanda are celebrating their anniversary with a trip. Aiden is a very attentive Dom and husband and he knows Amanda needs something extra. He has this weekend getaway specifically catered to her and her needs. He wants them to explore something a little different, will Amanda be on board? Aiden wants them to explore Daddy Dom and little girl in their relationship. Amanda is on board, albeit kind of reluctantly, with it and she reverts back to little Mandy who is a brat. She thinks it’s weird calling her husband Daddy until she does it and it feels natural. This is an amazing journey for this couple and I was glad I was along for the ride.

As a first time Maddie Taylor reader I sure did pick a good book to start with.
First things first though, if you are not into DD/lg – age play, just skip this one altogether.
Now as always I am going to get the bad out of the way before getting into the good bits, and there was a lot of good bits.
The time jumps/flashback near made me close the book in the first half. It started at one time, then jumped back to the night before for almost the entire chapter. Did it again where the chapter started in the evening than spend a good portion of the chapter of her in a daze remembering what she did during the day. Now I am all for flashbacks, but it would have been so much easier and less annoying if the story started the night more and the chapter started in the morning if it was only going to be told entirely via flashback.
In short, I don’t think it was done in a smooth way that wasn’t confusing.
Ok, now on to the story.Adien and Amanda. Dom and submissive. Husband and Wife.
Compatible and happy in every way, or so Amanda thought until she uttered the word “nice” in regards to very heated night in an exclusive BDSM club with her husband.
Adien takes this as a sign that his wife isn’t truly happy, that he isn’t fulfilling her in the way she truly yearns and proposes a weekend of new rules and new dynamics. Daddy and little girl.
Amanda isn’t completely sold on the idea but will do anything to get her marriage back where it belongs. Even if that means calling her husband Daddy, something she thinks is a little weird. . . until she starts saying it.
Watching Amanda become Mandy and learn what age she is more herself at, with the help of her ever loving Daddy is an amazing journey.
Get ready for temper tantrums, brattiness, rebelling, tenderness, understanding, and chemistry so far off the charts that it makes you blush. And that is just that beginning of their long weekend back to each other.
Wow! Love this book! Aiden knew something needed to be done as Amanda told him that their scene was ‘nice’. So, he plans a weekend exploring age play with Amanda, or little Mandy. They experiment with different ages and find what Mandy needs.
I highly recommend this book to everyone. It did a great job keeping me entertained….5 stars!!
I enjoyed this Dd/lg romance. Offering a good blend of steam and emotion, this book was a good read. I liked Mandy and Aiden. Their chemistry was steamy but I think what really appealed to me was the emotional connection between them. I thought this newly married couples exploration to find what worked for them was both hot and poignant.
