I really don’t feel like I need to say a lot about Just Swipe Right…
This 3rd installment of the 425 Madison series is a Must Read!! It was fun, sexy, relevant, and a total page-turner. The characters are witty, funny, and real…and doggie lovers! To me, the testament to a great book is when I’m sad I have to put it down to go back to the real world….and Allie York has made me super sad this week! I just wanted to keep reading the words.
Allie York is a new to me author, and I’m so happy to have found her!! I will be reading more from her soon.
ebook received for an honest review
This series just keeps getting better with each story!!
Eliza is a beautiful, smart woman. She writes an advice column under a pen name dice her answers are usually, blunt. While eating lunch with her sister one day she is convinced to try a dating app to meet new people. So of course she agrees but not for the reasons her sister wants her too.
Murphy has just moved to NYC for a great job opportunity working at a 5 star restaurant with his best friend. After breaking up with his girlfriend he needed the change. His best friend Derek gets him to sign up on a dating app to get him out of his funk but when he meets a beautiful woman things start looking brighter for him finally.
This is the 3rd book in the 425 Madison Series and absolutely amazing. You can’t help falling for Murphy and Eliza. I’m looking forward to the rest of this series!!
The joys of searching for someone on applications
I liked this new opus of the 425 Madison series. The characters are nice, but it’s more their thoughts on meeting someone through an application I liked and when they are like TV bachelors or bachelorettes, having to weigh the pros and cons among their contenders, who to choose and why.
The appointments are pretty funny sometimes and we realize that the flaws found in women are often the same flaws as those found in men.
Eliza and Murphy are registered by relatives each on their own on a meeting application where in theory, they are not supposed to meet people too weird, or perverts. They are not too willing at first, but they get caught up in the game. They meet in the neighborhood and at meetings with other suitors, they get closer and finally make contact more directly through the application. But each of them has also met someone and choosing can sometimes be difficult.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
The 3rd book in the 425 Madison series and wow you’re going to love it. Murphys is hunk and a sweetheart but in need of some womanly love and Eliza is in need of some man action and some tender povkng care. They both use a dating app but these two meet in other ways. This book is a refreshing read with lots of fun banter, laughs, buts of drama and lots of passion. A fabulous book to read xx
This is a super cute, fun book. Light-hearted, sweet rom-com that will have you just waiting for these two to call it official.
I loved this story. It’s an interesting glimpse into what dating in this day and age is like. Dating apps seem to be the go-to and Just Swipe Right is a cool look into this style of finding your perfect for you person.
You’re gonna love these characters, their quirkiness, and their dogs. You’ll even love the side-characters.
And this 425 Madison series will have you impatiently waiting to watch the next couple fall in love.
Get Just Swipe Right if you’re in the market for a fun little romance!
Loved this book and the way it made you keep reading cause you just HAD to know which one she was gonna pick.
Eliza has the perfect life, or so she thinks, she spends her days penning an advice column and spends her nights enjoying her luxurious apartment. But her sister thinks she is missing a vital part of her life, a love life, and she is determined to convince Eliza that using the dating app she signed her up for is the perfect remedy to that situation. Eliza has her reservations about using the app, but after her profile begins to light up with hits, she begins to see the appeal, and starts the dating game. Never expecting it to bring her not one, but two suitors who want to make her their someone special!
Eliza and Murphy’s quest to find love captured my attention right from the start and had me flying right through the pages, and staying up well past my bedtime because I could not wait to see how their story would end! Just Swipe Right is a perfectly crafted love story that satisfies on all fronts, it comes with heat to curl the toes, emotion to tug on your heartstrings, and humor that’ll have you smiling throughout! This was an impressive first read and wonderful addition to the 425 Madison series, highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Eliza has a comfortable life. A good job as an advice columnist under a pseudonym for a NY magazine and a nice apartment in 425 Madison that she shares with her sister, she doesn’t feel the need to complicate things by dating. Unfortunately, her sister thinks she should get out there and puts her on a dating app. Eliza decides to give it a whirl and use the experience to write a book about dating in the digital age. Then she meets a mountain of a man with the charm of a teddy bear in the elevator. After that, she keeps seeing him everywhere. Is fate trying to tell her something?
I have read the previous two books in the 425 Madison series and frankly, Just Swipe Right is just as fun and adorable as I found them! Eliza is a modern girl and has a way of giving advice that is direct and addicting, I wish it was a real column! Murphy is absolutely adorable and I want him for myself. The evolution of their relationship was fantastic and I had so much fun with these characters. This was the first book I have read by Allie York but it definitely won’t be the last! Five stars for Just Swipe Right!
This was an interesting insight to quick matches for dating….really Tinder, even though it’s not called that. I really liked Murphy and so glad he didn’t give up on Eliza. Eliza did irritate me with some of her choices. This was a new to me author and I look forward to reading more from her.
JUST SWIPE RIGHT by Allie York is book Three in the A 425 Madison Series. This is the story of Eliza and Murphy. I do feel you can make this a standalone book.
Eliza’s sister signed her up on a dating app site….agreeing to a week of testing it she ends up meet a few good men, one being Murphy. Murphy is new in town with a successful job he works toward a successful personal life that leads him to Eliza. But he learns he may have some companion but maybe not for long. This book along with the series has been such a sweet easy read…really enjoyed it.
This entertaining read had a cute plot, likable characters a plenty of emotions. I really liked Murphy and Eliza. I could easily feel their attraction to each other and the heat of their chemistry. I think fate and I would 100% agree that they were perfect together. The romance blooming between them was funny, sweet and genuine. I adored Dudley and Dozer the lovable dogs form the book and thought that Eliza’s sister Piper and Murphy’s best friend, Derek (who grew on me) added a lot to the story. I was not a huge fan of the whole Other Guy vying for Eliza’s affections. Not because I am a prude but because the way it was written made me think Eliza was somewhat shallow. His appeal was all about being “The Shiny Dream Guy” and not based on what was right in front of her face. For me this threw some serious shade on what should have been an epic, predestined love story.
I’ve been loving the series of 425 maddison and this book was no exception. Eliza is forced by her sister to try out a dating app, after having a few terrible dates she decides to fuel the disappointment in to her work. She also meets two great guys, both offering so much but both so different. Murphy follows his friends advice to date on the app too, he and Eliza meet in his first date and bound. It’s a great read with funny parts which make it light hearted story. Would recommend it.
This series makes my heart happy. The characters are lovable and their journey easy to follow. I loved Eliza and Murphy in this newest release that didn’t disappoint. It’s relatable, real and overall a wonderful read. I loved the flow of the storyline and fell in love with their story. I can’t wait to see what story the author writes next.
