Gripping Spy Thriller!
This is the first John Seal adventure I’ve read. It’s a fast paced drama full of suspense, spies, double agents, intrigue, twists and plenty of action. Enjoy!
I received an arc copy and am happy to leave my honest review.
I received a copy of the ARC of this book via BookSprout and this is my honest opinion. This is a good read though at times it felt very disjointed. It is good on the action sequences but not a lot of character development and backstory. I still don’t know why John Seal decided to join the CIA, who his friends are, where he comes from (other than Chicago is where he lives when not on assignment) and does he have a family. These things help me make a connection to the person I’m reading about. As it stands, it is difficult to make that connection when there’s nothing else to know about him. This could be a really good series with a little extra development. The story also needs a good editor/proofreader. There are way too many typos; or maybe I’m just too picky. I did enjoy the book enough that I will definitely pick up the next one to see what else is going on with John Seal.
Perfect weekend read! Action packed with a good ending. The characters are believable and make you want to cheer and groan out loud. This is a new author for me but he is definitely going on my regular read list. Can’t wait to start his next book, going there right now
This book started out with a lot of action and did not let up. It was centered around a “drop” and had spies, double agents, by any means necessary orders, and chases. I loved this book and could not put it down until I finished it!

Swedish Drop: A Pandora File, my second read from author Michael D. Wright. Well-written with a captivating, well-developed main character reminding one of a poor man’s Vince Flynn. The problem with short stories is just that, they’re short. This could easily have grown into a full-length adventure. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Interesting and intriguing
CIA agent John Seal is in Sweden for what is supposed to be a quick snatch and go that goes horribly wrong. He ends up trying to complete his assignment while also staying alive without all of the pieces to the puzzle. He’s not sure who he can trust, and it could cost him his life.
John Seal seems stuck in a maze of friends and enemies. He also seems stuck between stunning levels of skill, and daunting ineptitude.
Cavorting with one gal who turned out to be a target, and another man, who turned out to be another foreign agent?
perhaps on mission, he might want to stay a bit more on task or alone in his down time.
John seems to be working his way past his reticence against killing unnecessarily, and working towards a perhaps healthier paranoia. Senator Daniels really seems to be an enigma.
Exciting action and adventure!

I also purchased this book on Kindle, and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a great read! There is plenty of action and moving parts to keep your attention. The ending left lots of questions so now I am waiting eagerly for the next book to get some answers.
This PG13 espionage procedural, set mostly in Stockholm, can be read in less than three hours and features John Steel. Not much more I can say without risking a spoiler.

“Stay vigilant and keep moving…”
This has been a fast paced, heart pounding, chilling scenes spy thriller, always on the move. This is espionage in its purest form, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The characters are all great, the writing is good, and the plot hooked me from the beginning!
This is new author to me, and I like what I have read so far. There are some great action passages and a complex and exciting plot. I did find the writing a little stilted in places and that is why I haven’t given it 5 stars, but it is still a very good book and I look forward to reading more by this author.

First let me say that if you have not read the John Seal series that it is okay. This story is just one ops between the books. You can read it all on its own. But you will want up the others because Seal is a very likable character and human also. You will want more of him. I do and i have read the others.
This is a fast easy read action packed of one of John Seal’s ops. The situation is one that occurs between Caught Fire and Electric Eel. Why does the Senator bother me?
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an AC copy.
