From International Bestseller Michelle Heard comes a stand-alone, Suspense Romance.Hiding in Ocean’s Isle after being suspended from the force for two months, my hot, feisty, neighbor is the last person I should be interested in. But the next thing I know, we keep running into each other, which lead to some pretty intense sexually-loaded moments. I’m not supposed to fall for her, especially … her, especially knowing I’ll be going home in a week to face the mess I left behind. It’s just supposed to be a mind-blowing one-night stand.
Then I walk into the precinct, and I meet the new psychologist. I sure as hell didn’t see it coming, and now I have to bare my soul to the woman who should’ve remained a fantasy.
Keeping her at a distance is next to impossible, but knowing her life might be in danger if I give into the growing attraction between us, I have no choice but to keep pretending to be the playboy joker everyone thinks I am.
But will I be able to keep resisting the powerful pull between us?
Will I be able to hide her from the man who swore to destroy my life the way I destroyed his?
Will I ever survive the consequences of that fatal night?
Please note: All The Wasted Time contains sensitive scenes which may be upsetting to some readers.

As a reader I think you’re always looking for and I quote “the one”and by the one I mean the one that captures your attention and grabs you emotionally. The one that takes you on an emotional journey. The one where the combination of fear, pain, hurt, anguish, trust, hope and love is felt at every turn.
Guys I found the one!
All The Wasted time has to be by far one of the best reads that I’ve ever had the privilege of reading. It completely captured my heart and soul.
It’s a rarity to find a novel that touches on such a subject but Michelle Heard did with All The Wasted Time and quite frankly executed it perfectly.
A beautifully written novel exploring the reality of mental illness.
A heartbreaking novel exploring the effects of a debilitating illness and the traumatic affects is has on so many.
A breathtaking novel that explores the depths of sacrifice that people will go through to help another.
Wyatt, your story will stay with me always. You will forever hold a piece of my heart.
A definite 5 star read.
ALL THE WASTED TIME is the 4th book in Michelle Heard’s ‘Southern Heroes’ series. This is Wyatt and Scarlett’s story.
We have seen Wyatt in previous books for Wyatt is Aiden’s younger brother — a fun, carefree kind of guy. He’s the joker, a player. But really he has been struggling with something so painful that he hides it down deep.
He was suspended from the police force so Wyatt takes himself off to his family’s holiday home to regroup.
This is where he runs into Scarlett; she used to holiday at the same place when she was a kid. They have a great amazing one night together. Wyatt returns back to work and guess who he ends up face to face with ? Scarlett….she is the precinct’s new psychologist. And now he has to see her on a professional level. What’s he to do now?
Scarlett sees a man suffering and wants to stop him from falling any farther; now only to figure out what’s going on with him and how to fix him.
This is an emotional powerhouse of a romance that will keep you glued from start to finish. Wyatt and Scarlett are electrifying together. Their chemistry is intense and the feels are deep with this book. Every emotion is felt- hurt, fear, , trust, hope, pain, passion, and love comes across at every turn. Ms. Heard wrote such a beautiful story and its sad this is the end of the series but what a great way to end it. Amazing!!!
My Rating: 4.8 stars ******
Fourth book of the Southern Heroes series, the book focuses on Wyatt, a young cop, who leads life in a carefree, always playful, womanizing way. Starting from the events of the previous book, after assaulting a suspect, he is taking leave of his job, and decides to spend time in a distant place to relax. When meeting a woman, his neighbor, who looks so much like himself, the attraction is inevitable, and the two end up indulging in a night of passion. Next day, Wyatt will find himself in a different situation: he has just been abandoned for the first time.
When he returned to work, what he did not expect was that the new psychologist in the service of the police, the person with whom he should consult, was none other than the woman who had escaped from his bed. As the sessions progress, Scarlett’s clinical gaze can identify what no one has been able to perceive: Wyatt is hiding something.
Carrying a guilt that is consuming him, Wyatt no longer knows how to move forward, and the boy who has a big heart and is always ready to help others, is the one who needs help the most at the moment. As reality and fantasy mingle, he will reach rock bottom only to be able to rise again.
The book addresses a serious, sad subject that deserves all attention. Wyatt’s journey will not be easy, but his family and friends will be around helping him. Alec was a presence and a necessary force in this process.
But I did not like the line of the narrative. Hank could have been explored in various ways, it was a very steady presence to end up being what it was. Wyatt did not deserve this fate, as well none of the earlier books had hinted at. Scarlett’s love after just one night was not credible, either. I did not like the character.
To me, the interactions between Wyatt and Alec and Aiden were the best parts of the book.
Zac is the focus of my attention at the time, and his efforts to arrest the pastor have intrigued me.
Wyatt’s journey gave me mixed feelings. I liked the character from the moment he appeared in the series, but I did not like how his plot progressed.

I couldn’t put this book down!!!
Yet again Michelle has proven why she she should be a one click author of all readers. She grabs you by the heart with every book she writes and refuses to let you go.
This book was not what I expected and everything that I needed.
Wyatt’s life has changed since one night and now lives with it daily. This book is intense and heartbreaking but real. I love Wyatt’s personality and strength he doesn’t even realize he has. This book needs a warning must have tissues while reading! You never know what someone is going through. This book shows us how no matter what we all need that one person to open up too. 5/5 stars
Oh my oh my! Michelle really knocked it out of the park with All the Wasted Time. Wyatt’s story is so touching and heartfelt. Wyatt is a jokester and not your typical Alpha hero which made him all the more lovable. He is broken and struggling with issues that I was not expecting to find in this story. After meeting Scarlett, she works to put Wyatt back together again. She is far from a damsel in distress, and I loved how strong her character was written.
Wyatt is probably my most favorite character in this series, but I had no idea his story would run so deep! My emotions got on the Wyatt roller coaster and I felt them all vividly as I DEVOURED this story. I had no idea it was coming, and it was beautiful, breathtaking, heart breaking, and lent so many different facets to his character previously unseen. Always a smooth talking, snarky joker who made me giggle wholeheartedly, his vulnerability and huge heart made him shine so bright, I just adored him. The chemistry between Wyatt and his lady love was immediate, yet I didn’t know it would run so deeply as it did. The cherry on top was previous characters making an appearance in an ending that brought a smile just as fast as tears!! This journey was well worth the binge read that I ignored my life in the time it took me to read it! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!

An intense, emotional, heart wrenching story.
..this book takes you by the heart, and gives every emotional experience.
Each page, each line, you become addicted and engulfed into his story.
One moment can have a ripple effect and change not just your personality but your whole life too.
The prologue is intense my heart was racing reading it, the writing really put you in the situation I felt like I was there. It’s a moment that changes Wyatt’s life and is the reason he meets Scarlett.
I don’t want to say any specifics about the story. It went in a direction I didn’t see coming but when all was revealed it made perfect sense. This was my favourite in the series because of its emotional depth. There are many feelings brought up in this book. Pain love and loss are present throughout. For me the way the author wrote his mental health struggles was simply outstanding.
Wyatt and Scarlett’s story isn’t always light and fluffy it’s dark and painful at times but it’s a book that is well worth the read.
How can one incident change your life forever? God, I felt like I was actually there with Wyatt the entire time. That’s what books by Michelle does to you. A heartbreaking but, yet beautiful story.
Absolutely loved this amazing broken challenging addicting broke beautiful love story of Wyatt and Scar.Ready for more
This is the fourth book in this amazing series, and is Wyatt and Scarlett’s story. Wyatt is a complex character, who is dealing with his past demons, and Scarlett is a strong, feisty woman, and these two have an undeniable chemistry between them. This is a beautifully written story, which is raw, gritty, intense, heartbreaking, emotion, humorous, and is a powerful story with unconditional love. I was totally captivated throughout this engaging page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
I just loved this book so much!
For so many reasons.
First the characters are wonderful amazing people.
The storyline and plot are thought provoking and intense.
And what I especially loved was how the author changed the stereotype of the heroine always being the one that needs the rescuing.
This book is about love, friendship, family and an unbreakable commitment to each other.
Wyatt was just an fantastic character.
Strong, funny, loyal to his family, friends and his community.
Scarlett was also phenomenal.
Sassy, backbone made of steel and so very caring.
Together these two took me on an emotional tearful journey.
But one also filled with hope, faith and unconditional respect and love.
Outstanding story with exceptional characters!
Heartbreaking and Heartwarming
This book was so far from what I was expecting. It was much deeper and more meaningful. Wyatt is such a lovable character but he is surrounded by amazing well written secondary characters. It was refreshing that so many of my favorites made a cameo. This author never ceases to amaze me with her talent at bringing new and touching storylines. Wyatt’s story made a personal impact on me and inspired me.

Love this book…
Wyatt’s story and what a wonderful mix of humor, heartbreak and love… Wyatt is a man who is suffering and the author has done an excellent job of creating a complex character dealing with so much personal drama.. and then there is Scarlett who I love as a strong, smart woman who remains steadfast throughout the events that take place within these pages.
Whilst I love both the main characters, I particularly enjoyed when Wyatt gets together with his family and friends..there are some really sweet and funny moments between them all, which provides a powerful reminder of the strength of such bonds.
Each story in the series has had unexpected twists and turns, but I think this story gave me the biggest shock of them all…I shall say no more…. an absorbing and compelling 5 star must read…I received an advanced copy of this book from the author.
This was such an emotional book! My heart broke for poor Wyatt. He’s such a sweet, sensitive soul, the class clown, the guy everyone loves…. but he’s hiding so much pain. Scarlett was a great match for him. This book will make you laugh and cry! I really enjoyed it!
This was so emotional and heartbreaking and I could not put it down Wyatt has captured every part of my soul, I was so glad Scarlett was their for him being such a strong beautiful woman with so much feeling these two were perfection in every single way and with such a strong family behind him it was everything. Wyatts story is so well written and so deserving of every single word on the pages and had me memorized through it all.
