Jess:Two years ago I lost everything. My friends. My boyfriend and almost my life. But there was one person who stuck with me through it all. My best friend, Sean.I’m about to face everyone again because Kevin and Sophie are getting married. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for them. There’s just one problem, Rob will be there. Rob and I dated for the better part of seven years. I gave him my … seven years. I gave him my first everything, including my first true heartbreak.
I wasn’t ready to see him again. Spending three days together wasn’t settling well with me, so I did something impulsive…I told Rob that Sean and I were dating.
Sean:
I’ve sat on the sidelines for ten years. TEN YEARS! Watching Jess get her heart broken over and over again by Rob. But I never interfered, just picked up the pieces because that’s what best friends do.
Imagine my surprise when Jess told everyone we were dating. When she kissed me in front of all our friends. I know our time as a couple is limited to three days, but I’m going to make the most of it! I am going to show her how great we can be together.
Who knows. Maybe I can win her over. Maybe she will finally see me.
Being in love with your best friend sucks.

This is the 2nd book I’ve read written by Chrissy Brown; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

I enjoyed this young adult romance. It’s a little different friend to more story but I really liked the plot. Sean and Jess have been best friends for a long time. She has had rough past and made some bad choices along with getting her heartbroken repeatedly. He has been there to help her pick up the pieces but has been secretly in love with her for a long time. They are going to a wedding and because of who will be there she proclaims him as her boyfriend. What will happen in those three days? This is a very interesting story. I like the main characters a good deal.
This was a well written story with amazing characters. I love this series and this one did not disappoint. I can’t wait for more from the author!
Book three in the Georgia Boys a story I was not putting down until I finished reading it. This is a best friends to lovers story between Jess and Sean, they have always been there for each other but Sean has always wanted Jess to be his. There story will have ups and downs. This is book three in the series and we get Jess and Sean’s story. Jess has always dated Rob, for seven years, when two years ago everything crumbled for Jess. Sean, Jess’s best friend was the only one left to help Jess pick herself up and move on. Of course, we learn that Sean is in love with Jess and is willing to fake date her for Kevin and Sophie’s wedding. Its three days but Seam is willing to take the challenge and convince Jess that three days is just not enough.

This is my first time reading anything by this author, and I didn’t know about this series. I chose it at one of my favorite book review sites because I find the friends-to-lovers trope as mentioned in the book blurb to be one that I enjoy. So I was looking forward to this. Unfortunately, the author didn’t disclose what could be off-putting elements for some readers. The cover itself looks like it could be any contemporary romance as well, so nothing in the blurb or the cover set off any red flags for me. So I was surprised to find that this had to do with a woman who went down the very hard road of drugs, other bad choices, and all that that life entails. For me, I don’t like to read books about that world at all; this is just a personal preference. The book also had a fair amount of profanity, which again, the gentle cover doesn’t suggest. Because of these two elements, I couldn’t enjoy this book.
There was one small bit I liked. At the very beginning when Sean is telling about his early relationship with the heroine, he shares when he fell in love with her at a middle school dance; this tiny bit was very sweet, but unfortunately, the book soon devolved.
The book had more than the common issues with grammar, punctuation, and spelling. In one place, it had brake-ups instead of break-ups. A regular hyphen was used when an en-dash or an em-dash should have been used, making the sentence hard to read when it seemed like a strange combination word. The name of a movie wasn’t italicized.
