After three years, Snow and Jude’s relationship is still passionate and strong. They’re getting ready for a romantic vacation at home when Jude receives a horrifying call no one wants to receive. His youngest brother was found barely clinging to life. While Jude’s family is rallying around Jordan, Jude is determined to find out what happened to him.Snow and Jude follow the clues, investigating a … investigating a side of Jordan’s life none of them knew about…and is far darker than any would have believed possible. They get pulled deeper into the seedy side of life, while echoes from a past Snow thought he walked away from return to offer an unexpected insight into the cause of Jordan’s injuries.
But someone else has noticed their involvement and is furious, putting them both in danger. The risk is high but so is Jude’s determination to find the truth—though the knowledge could very well fracture his heart.
Trigger Warning: This book has a scene that some might find triggering, but the triggers are also spoilers to the plot, so they can be found at the front of the book.

Loved this one SO much! Action-packed & super HOT!
This is book #6 in the Unbreakable Bonds series…I absolutely adored all the couples! But I loved Lucas and Andrei the most, followed closely by Snow and Jude. I might re-read their stories at some point, and I am not a fan of re-reading. With so many new goodies out there, I just can’t seem to find the time to re-read the stories I really enjoyed.
In Fracture Snow Frost and Jude are again the MC’s and it felt like I’ve read Shatter only a few weeks ago. This! This makes me realize a story deserves 5 stars. Knowing I will remember the characters and their story over time. I’ve read so many books these past years and I can honestly say only a few left a mark on my memory…So when I started Fracture I remembered so much about this HOT couple and how much I loved them. Snow – with his tough and serious exterior. Jude – with his big heart. Them together – super hot!!
I already knew this writing duo creates such amazing stories, but this one blew my mind! It kept me on the edge of my seat most of the time and I was extremely curious about what really happened to Jordan, Jude’s youngest brother. He’s in the hospital, fighting for his life and not even the police have any clue about why he got there and who hurt him. As his awful experiences are revealed, I really understood Jude’s desire to kill the man behind his brother’s horrific abuse.
I don’t want to give too much away, but you need to treat this story carefully if sexual abuse is a trigger for you, as it is mentioned at the beginning of the book.
What I really loved about this one would be the suspense and the hotness. Snow and Jude are like fire together and this book has A LOT of action, but also many hot scenes!
We get here bullets, crashing cars, bad men going down, some Addams Family code names (which was hilarious) and a perfect HEA! What could you want more?!
It was great revisiting all the other characters in this series, especially Lucas and Andrei!! I also loved Snow’s revelation at the end, and all his sweetness. You would have never guessed the Ashton Frost from Shatter is the same man with the one we get here. I guess 3 years of a solid relationship and some life-threatening events put things in perspective. Right?
Highly recommend this book, and if you haven’t read the previous books, you should definitely read them soon and in order to better enjoy their world.
So this one goes to my 5 stars stories of 2019 and one of my favorites in the series!
Gosh this series just gets better and better. I loved Snow and Jude and was glad to see more of them.
Snow and Jude are gearing up for a nice, well-deserved week-long vacation. Jude gets a devasting call that is brother is in bad shape in the hospital. Jude and Snow set off to find out what Jordan has gotten into to get himself hurt like this.
There are great charismatic characters and lots of plots and drama. The suspense is great. The book is fast-paced and you won’t want to put it down once you start.
I listened to the audiobook and felt like Kenneth Obi really brought the story to life. His voices are amazing and the pacing is great. If you can possibly get these books in audio I highly suggest you do.
Fracture is the sixth book in the Unbreakable Bonds Series by Rinda Elliott and Jocelyn Drake. This story is suspenseful and amazing. It is well written and told, intriguing from start to finish. These characters grab you and hold your attention and make you want more. Snow and Jude are amazing.
I would rate this 3.75 stars.
This is the sixth book in the series. If you don’t read these in order, you will miss some inside couple things, references to their friends and background for Jude’s family. Still, this plot is not connected to the other books, so you could jump in with this one and follow the story, it will just have less emotional impact. There is enough recapping to get by for new people, and annoy those already following the series.
Someone hurt Jude’s 21 year old brother, Jordan, who works construction for their uncle. When Jude starts looking into what might have happened to his brother, he realizes something has been wrong for awhile. What did Jordan get into and how does Jude really know him anymore? Has Jordan changed so much while his brothers Jude and Carrick got busy in their own lives; there is a thirteen and twelve year age difference respectively. Jordan isn’t a child anymore and he is making his own way in life. As Jordan lies in the hospital in a coma, Jude struggles with his emotions and trying to find out who did this and why. It’s his boyfriend’s turn to be the rock this time.
It’s nice to see the other side to both of them as the normal roles are reversed with Jude being the one who is a mess and Snow having to be the strong, rational one.
In this book, Snow’s past is both a curse and a blessing. This sort of plot makes more sense in the Ward Securities spin off series than these things continually happening to medical professionals, a businessman, and a chef. I understand Rowe, Andrei, and Noah getting involved in these sorts of plots, but how many times in real life is this going to realistically keep happening to normal people? In trying to make the book accessible to those who haven’t read the other five books, or remind people of past events if they haven’t read them in awhile, the recapping throughout the book highlights all the implausibilities in the previous plots. I think this is why even though the book is well written, it seems to plod along. Also, the scenes that have other popular characters in them are more like walk-on parts without adding anything to their characters.
I like these characters. I like their loyalty and the family they’ve built. The love scenes are erotic and passionate. The connection and love that Snow and Jude have is well written. I think this is their HEA, even filled with shame, guilt, and nightmares. Everyone is coupled up and starting families, so I’m not sure where else this series can go, but it is enjoyable and it’s difficult to say goodbye to characters you like.
The cover art is by Stephen Drake of Design by Drake. I admit I have no idea who is on the cover or what it has to do with anything. Since this is supposed to be about Jordan, my guess would be he is whose life has been fractured by the events in this book.
Speechless…..
This is how I feel after finishing reading FRACTURE! It went over and beyond my expectations. It has all the elements of a bestseller, formidable main characters, amazing supporting characters (can actually be called main characters too in minor roles….), great plot, unpredictable twists and turns, action-packed, humor and witty banter among the members of this large, unique family. It is a worthy addition to the series Unbreakable Bonds.
Snow and Jude are becoming more and more comfortable and secure in their relationship, but sometimes though life throws us curve balls coming from unexpected places, and all they can do is cope with it and try to understand what happened. Families will always be there to support us, no matter what kind of trouble we find ourselves in, but as human beings, we sometimes are ashamed to admit that we got ourselves in trouble and thus we are sometimes ashamed to ask for help. Snow, Lucas, Rowe and Ian have always been a family, a little bit unconventional, but they will always be there for each other, and, that now includes their respective partners, so no matter what you are faced with, you can always count on them.
With this new set of adventures that the family is embarking on, who knows what comes next, we can only wait with bated breath …..CONGRATULATIONS Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliott, another BESTSELLER! Well-deserved!

A haunting hunt for justice!
I’ve read some of the spin-off series Ward Security by Jocelynn and Rinda and their writing is always thrilling, a little twisted and often steamy. I know some of these characters from the spin-off but not from this series. As it was my first read in this series and while I don’t know all the characters, the book still held my attention, I didn’t feel lost and I thoroughly enjoyed the adrenaline-fueled thrill for justice and a bit of payback.
I enjoyed the established couple, Jude and Snow and their undeniable love and chemistry. I hadn’t read their ‘getting together story’ but really want to now! I feel there was a lot more to Snow and his past that was insinuated in this book that I didn’t really know but for me, it added mystery and just makes me need to read the previous books!
There were a few in-jokes that went over my head and I’m sure it would be much more enjoyable having known the other characters but I still enjoyed the story and felt it could still be read as a standalone if you’d like. It’s a dangerous, fast-paced thrill for Jude to get justice for his beaten and abused brother. The trigger warnings in this book should be adhered to as it is very confronting but also necessary for the depth of the story even though its hard to read. I was surprised at the lack of emotions and outrage Jordan expresses but understand that perhaps he’ll have his own story later where this will be better addressed. I liked the healing, confronting emotions and challenges both Jude and Snow faced and I hope we see more of them in the stories to come.
An enjoyable thriller with depth, steam, and justice! Well done Jocelynn and Rinda!!

Usually when you revisit an established couple you worry you won’t get the same high and that hit of UST and chemistry as strong as you did when they were first introduced, but here, with Snow and Jude, that love and attraction is more evident than ever. They’ve been together three years, both working hard, but settled, after all that’s happened. Then out of the blue they get a call saying that’s Jude’s brother Jordan has been shot, and that begins a hunt to get to the bottom of who the hell hurt Jude’s little brother. The tension and excitement here was tenfold, and it’s testament to the skill of the authors that they kept that heart-in-the-mouth feeling the whole way through. I had expectations when I started this read purely due to the calibre of writing I’ve come to expect from the authors and they didn’t disappoint, not one little bit; completely knocking the ball out of the park. The action runs alongside Snow revisiting a time in his life he’d thought he’d closed the door on a long time ago, and this time, Jude is there to witness it front and centre. Will they get justice for Jordan and finally lay old ghosts to rest? I’m not going to spoil the read for you as you HAVE to read it, but I will say that our boy Rowe is here and he’s brought the duct tape so strap in and get ready for the ride of your life.
Unfortunately, a well deserved vacation for Jude and Snow never really gets started when Jude gets some devastating news about his youngest brother.
What the hell has Jordan gotten himself involved in?
Who did this to him?
Each day they wait for Jordan to regain consciousness becomes another day of angry pacing and frustration…Jude just can’t sit around the hospital and hope! He wants justice for his brother, he wants the people who did this to pay.
If you follow the Unbreakable Bonds series, you know there really is only one way this goes, our guys just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. And who else would they call when they need someone to have their back? Why, Lucas, Rowe and Ian, of course!
I love each installment of this series, it’s like visiting with old friends.
