I had secrets that were drowning me, and my worst fear was he was going to get tired of waiting for me to put my big girl panties on and reveal the biggest one. Him. ShilohMy life started out with a tragedy—the death of my mother. But I had something no other infant had, six amazing men. My father and his brothers in arms raised me and gave me the best life any kid could ask for.I grew up in the … ask for.
I grew up in the loving arms of the Wounded Souls, and each and every one of them protected and loved me beyond measure. Even when I lost two of the most important people in my life, the Souls never let me fall.
After Dad met and married the best woman I had the pleasure of knowing, she and her flock, also wonderful women, gave me the feminine balance I needed in a life of soldiers turned bikers. They taught me to rise to every challenge and always be true to myself.
Somewhere, I lost sight of that on the way to my aspirations to make my mark.
Falling in love with a man who would die for me, adored me, and would do anything for me, should have been the happiest time of my life. So why was I hiding him?
Could I really have it all? Or would my obsession with being everything and having it all mean I would lose the one person who meant everything?
Then there was my ghost. Having him and his promise not to leave me was both a blessing and a curse. He knew all my secrets, and he also knew how to press my buttons.
The danger of Rogue is a distant memory, and the kids of the Wounded Souls are all grown up. The club princess has big dreams and even bigger secrets. Will she keep her dreams alive and keep the love of her prince?

This is a story of Shiloh Johnston her dad is Deck Johnston in the first of the series of The Wounded Souls . That story is His Sweetness with Deck, and Charlotte. This story is about Shiloh Johnston, and Zander Stephen the first son of Creed Stephens with Memphis Van Elsen, from the fifth story of His Angel. His angel with Creed and Memphis another happy ending they did have five children three boys, and two girls with Zander the older son of the couple. This is a story of Her Prince who is Zander and the first princess Shiloh, Zander is in love and just like his dad Creed he loving, loyal, and handsome. And support for Shiloh as well as support her dreams. This is such a beautiful story. An someone whom with her only she can see a protective guiding angel is Darth. This is a touching story of growth, friendships, and more important loving families. I love this story so much too,
I MISS THEM ALREADY!
I’m crying so hard right not. It was hard thinking of Shiloh as an adult now but Leah makes the transition easier. Shiloh has come such a long way from the sassy little spitfire we’ve fallen in love with. She’s turned out to be a beautiful, strong, independent, confident, very talented, intelligent, committed woman and I could go on. Lol. She still cracked me up at some of the things she used to say when she was little. I just have fallen so in love with her character. Leah has written her character with so much love I could feel it. Now I just have to say DAYUM, Creed and Memphis have been gettin busy. Lol. Their family has definitely grown. Their sons are all big gorgeous respectable men who take after their father and their uncles. We don’t meet them all in this book but they are mentioned. I absolutely love how Darth’s spirit is still alive and well in Shiloh. It was so heartwarming to me that he is still watching over her and his brothers. I had come to love his character so much it just about shattered my heart when he died. The loss of Vegas and the circumstances in which she died was bad enough but losing Darth right after was almost more than I could stand. You may think I’m crazy and like my husband some say oh it’s just a book, but to me I feel them to my soul they take me somewhere with them. Sometimes the characters become almost real to me. So I really felt the loss of Darth’s character. There are so many moments in this book that had me in tears because I could feel the emotions coming off the pages. Now Zander is a son of Creed and Memphis and he is a big ole gorgeous hunk of a man who is head over heels, turn the oven off baby this Turkey is done, madly in love with Shiloh and the feelings are mutual. These two could not be a more perfect couple. When these two are behind closed doors they are explosive. WOOH! The building could be on fire and you wouldn’t even notice, they’re so smokin hot. The excitement had my heart pounding and I couldn’t read fast enough. The love all these men have for Shiloh has only gotten stronger. The bracelet, of course had me bawling right along with her, it was so thoughtful. Of course the flock has only gotten stronger and the daughters can kick some serious butt thanks to their fathers and uncles. Shiloh and Zander together are a force to be reckoned with. They get their happily ever after but the goodbye tore me up. I don’t want to let go. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE!
This just blew me away! As I sit here with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. This whole series has blown me away but this one, this one totally took my heart.
I don’t think my words could sum up sufficiently how much these men, their bond, loyalty and their women have touched me. Most of all Shiloh and her bond with Darf. My heart!
I have absolutely loved this series. Now I am off to wrap myself in a warm blanket and soak in all the feels.
Wow! Just wow! I’m writing this with tears still in my eyes, but warmth in my heart. Leah Sharelle never ceases to amaze me. She’s an outstanding story teller, who knows how to capture your attention and your heart from the beginning, keep you on your toes, and leave you breathless by the end of each story. The Wounded Souls are one of my favorite MC families, and yes I said family. These men are everything any woman would want, their love, loyalty, and protective nature is simply beautiful. I’m glad Shiloh got her own book and that she found a wonderfully loving Prince. Darth (Darf) has always been her protector and has always been by her side. He watched her grow, like all the other men who raised her, but now it’s time to let go and watch her flourish. I loved everything about this book.
This was the book I had been waiting on in this series. Shiloh has been with us from the very first book so to finally see her in our minds as a grown up was truly amazing. Leah Sharelle did this character justice and gave us even more than we could have hoped for. Our sassy 4 year old grew up into a beautiful, confident and strong woman but something was holding her back. This story was emotional, sexy, sassy, action packed and took us full circle with the Wounded Souls MC. However I will warn you, for all of those who have taken the journey of this series, this is the one that will have you crying like a baby. The tears will be sad but at the same time happy as all the characters finally reach that time and the right path.
I will say that I found it hard to start this book. The only reason for that is that I knew all of the characters, or thought I did. I definitely knew Shiloh and I still think of her as a little foul mouthed angel that is adorable. But Leah Sharelle did an awesome job in growing her up. I got to move through what made her really enjoyed her character as she grew up. But there were times that I really wanted to shake the heck out her while reading.
Zander is definitely his daddy’s son and the way that he loves Shiloh and stands by her side is totally awesome. Funny enough, he reminds me more of Darth than he does his dad, which I found kinda funny as I was reading.
This was a beautiful story and I did tear up at times because I have known most of these characters from very beginning and reading brought up feelings from some of the other stories. Do I think that readers will need to read all of the other books before this one .. No. But I would recommend it as they are all enjoyable 🙂
Overall, great story with awesome characters. Pace went well and absolutely loved the ended and seeing Shiloh grow up. So two thumbs up and happy reading!!
I have been so looking forward to reading this story by this incredible author and she certainly didn’t disappoint, it is fabulous.
This story covers Shiloh from the ages four to twenty-four, an incredible feat in and of itself, and it is told well-very smoothly. There are some extra treats inside that I won’t spoil for you but having guest characters is a terrific idea. I will say that the ending, although beautiful, is extremely touching and a few sniffles did happen!
Shiloh and her Prince are a terrific match, they get each other so well and it’s not just their sexual chemistry, even though that is off the charts red hot too. They have a deeper connection that is almost tangible.
The story has a touch of everything you’d want: a true romance, some drama as well as action and suspense, some light hearted fun and some tear jerking moments as well.
Another sensational book I totally recommend.
The Best.
Wow as i am writing this review i have tears big fat kim kardashian ugly tears. Leah Sharelle you broke me. Arrggghhh you broke the mould on this book seriously. I cried from the first few pages and by the end i can’t breath properly I’ve got big red puffy eyes and snot everywhere. You killed it woman. Absolutely knocked it out of the ball park. I’m so in awe of your words your characters your stories the way you gave Darth his ending with Shiloh was perfect just perfect.
Omg, grab the tissues for this book. I cried, laughed and cheered throughout this book. We finally get to see more of our favourite men and girls. Shiloh finally gets everything she wants, and more.
I loved Shiloh and her man, because they are suited for each other. And they never step in way of each other, they cheer each other on.
We finally get to see more of Darth too. But not in way you think.
I highly recommend this book. Remember the tissues.
This book was everything I’d hoped for and so much more! There is so much I want to say, but I don’t want to give anything away! Let’s just say that this book is going right to the top of my favorite reads this year, and I doubt that anything will knock it from that spot!
Shiloh has had a rough life, but she has also had a good life (clear as mud, right). She’s lost some very important people in her life, but she has also grown up with the love and support of a whole family full of bikers. She isn’t a typical “girlie girl” but instead has carved out her own place in life with confidence that she is following the right path. Until that path isn’t so clear anymore, and the consequences of her choices are thrown right in front of her. And then when things seem to be perfect again, surprises come up that she never could have anticipated.
This book is full of surprises! I was kept on the edge of my seat during the entire story! It was great to see all of the characters from previous books, (as well as meeting some new ones!) and there are even some that you wouldn’t expect to be looking for! I loved this book, from beginning to end, but don’t be surprised if you shed a few tears along the way!
First off I want to say that I am really going to miss this series going forward. This series has so many wonderful character’s and we fell in love with each and every one of these character’s in this on going series. The author did and amazing job bringing the series to a close and it was Epic !
I am not going to lie to you I cried and balled my eyes out throughout the whole entire story. The story was funny and it also was heart wrenching in the fact that the series was coming to a close but, most of all the entire story was and emotional one all around. We had been with Shiloh for so long we felt like we were part of her upbringing too and I have to say that she gave us tons of laughs along the way.We loved seeing Shiloh as an adult because we always imagined how she would turn out as an adult and we are glad to find out she was still the same old Shiloh just a much older version.
“We just loved that!”
I loved seeing the original cast of character’s like Booth,Mannix,Steel,Deck,Creed Lucky,Ford and of course the flock aka the old ladies still made us laugh out loud time and time again. It was also nice meeting all the children all grown up and how they all turned out and how many kids the members ended up having.Creed you surprised me the most you dirty dog lol.
I absolutely loved Shiloh’s story. We loved seeing her turn into this beautiful women fall in love, achieve her dreams, carve out a life along with her brothers ( that’s weird to say) all the while staying the same loving and caring, vibrant, funny child we fell in love with all those years ago.
Omg ! Zander if Shiloh wasn’t my favorite character he would be neck and neck in line for the title.I fell head over heels in love with him myself.Holy Sexy Alpha! On god did he make a girls panties wet. lol
Favorite quote – “I love you, too, baby. You are the sugar on my Froot Loops, the Zeke to my LT, the shit to my kickers, the effing tomy Fanta,” I said and laughed when he pinched me on the bottom, his arms still holding me tightly.”
There were so many things that made me cry but,Shiloh professing her love for Zander had me balling my eyes out and every time I still think of that moment I still want to cry.I was glad to see that Shiloh still was a bad***.OMG ! and her with Darf as she calls him was simply heart wrenching as well as funny and some of those conversations made me want to cry as well as belly laugh.
“We still love and miss the big guy!”
Some favorite quotes- “All right, all right, keep ya pants on, Vader.”
Zander- “My parents had the love story of the century, a story of second chances and forgiveness.”
The romance between Shiloh and Zander was super super hot.(what a lucky girl) I loved that she found her soul mate as well as being her perfect match for her in every way and they made one heck of a power couple.
This current story as well as the entire series was pure enjoyment and we loved being on this journey with these character’s every minute. We loved the character’s and fell in love with them all broken pieces and all.We loved that each and everyone of these soldiers found solace in their women and they were able to bring them out of the darkness and into the light. The old ladies which were called the Flock gave us tons of laughs we loved each and everyone of these strong women.
We loved each and every story in this series with Booth,Steel,Deck’s,Mannix,Creed,Ford & Lucky’s all were emotional and heartfelt that made us laugh and cry but, most of all we loved how they all found their soul mates even though it was one rocky journey.
For me the author could not have created a better ending. The tears never stopped the last several chapter’s and honestly I never wanted it to end.Shiloh’s last conversations with Darth sent me right over the edge.I was still and emotional wreck for the next several hours after reading it.
A series to be remembered always !
One of my top favorite series for 2019!
Shiloh you rock girl!
Recommended read to all !
