The storyline was good and the characters were interesting enough to keep my attention throughout the entire book!
Bri is now a real estate agent and in reinventing herself after her divorce. Bri caught her husband with her best friend so that ended that! Then she meet Teddy who plays for the Nashville hockey team. Teddy a player and can get any woman he wants. But only for the night as that is all he wants – just one night stands. After seeing the bad marriage his folks had, he doesn’t want that for himself. But when Bri asks him to be her fake boyfriend, it gets him thinking that maybe he could have her for longer than one night. Good romance with great interaction between Bri and Teddy.

An enjoyable and amazing addition to the ‘Rules of the game’ series! It is well written with a well-developed, consistent, intriguing, funny, and engaging storyline. The characters are likeable and perfect for each other; the chemistry between them is off the charts and the sex scenes are hot! It is a very exciting read and comes highly recommended. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This is a quick read. Bro is starting over after a divorce. She just got her real estate license and a new job. Things are looking up until she meets her new boss. He is a little touchy feely. Teddy is part of her friends circle and they are attracted to each other. He is commitment shy. They are not looking for forever until it hits them. A few missteps and cold feet get them twisted around but eventually they get it right. Sweet and to the point story.

This short but sweet romance between divorcée Bri and star hockey player Teddy was easy to read and upbeat. I liked that they start out as casual but flirty friends. Teddy quickly grows feelings for Bri and starts changing for the better. Bri is riding high on confidence after obtaining her realtors license and first job. It touched her heart that Teddy was willing to play fake boyfriend to keeo her lecherous boss away from her.
Upbeat, fast paced and enjoyable read.

Bri and Teddy have known each other for a while, but between Bri healing from her cheating ex-husband and Teddy’s anti commitment ways neither were ready for more than friendship. When Bri gets her realtor license she decides she needs to finally move on from her past and a rebound with Teddy seems perfect. The next morning Bri’s new boss makes her feel uncomfortable so she enlists the help of Teddy to be her boyfriend around the office, but soon the fake part of the relationship starts to blur to real. So what happend when the man afraid of commitment suddenly wants it all with Bri? Will he step up and go for what he wants or run back to his old player ways? This book is sweet and steamy with just enough angst to help get them to their hea. Great read and can’t wait to read the next story in the series.

There is nothing like reading a book where you have someone that is not looking of any kind of relationship but yet they need to pretend to be in one for something or other. The general rule of thumb of course is that you usually find something when you are not looking or ready for it. Why should finding love be any different? Meet Bri, she has divorced her cheating husband and is ready to move forward with a new home and new career. Love is not on her agenda at all. However, she is having troubles with her new boss, he keeps hitting on her and making her uncomfortable. Her solution, find someone to pretend to be involved with. Bri is introduced to Teddy through mutual friends that are dating and they seem to really hit it off. This is an entertaining story about how these two characters attempt to reach their happily for now. I am not a fan of having to have to continue to read to find out what happens with these two. But I do want to point out that I have read all the books in this series so far, loved each one and will still continue with it. Now, I am interested in what the author has in store for Bri and Teddy.

3*
Bri has just passed her real estate license & needs to find house buyers.
Teddy’s not huge on commitment due to his parents bad marriage but he’s couch surfing at the minute.
When Bri starts her new job & the boss is creepy she has an idea but will Teddy help her out?

Nice short story
Unfortunately I couldn’t really get into this book. I felt the h kept blowing hot and cold and the H came across as a petulant child. Wish I could have liked it better.

Emma Tharp hits it in the net with GOAL ON THE REBOUND. NHL goalie for the Nashville Wolverines, Ted Anderson, helps Brianne Jacobson by pretending to be her fake boyfriend. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for new adult and adult audiences.
I like the plot. Bri just received her real estate license and started a new job. Her boss makes her uncomfortable by coming on to her; Therefore, Bri asks Teddy to be her fake boyfriend. The two have great chemistry, and like each other so it is not hard to pull off.
I like the characters. Bri is divorced and has some trust issues. She’s a hard worker. Teddy is protective and a nice guy. He has a hard time with commitments. A couple of times I felt like the characters were overreacting. I would have liked the book to be a little longer. I want to hear more of their story. I’m hoping more will be written about Teddy and Bri in book four.
This is the first book that I have read by Emma Tharp. I am interested in reading more of her work after reading this story. GOAL ON THE REBOUND is the third book in the Rules of the Game series. The description said it could be read as a standalone. I had no problem following the story. I got the impression that Bri and Teddy made appearances in a previous book. I have a feeling I would have been more invested in the characters if I read book one, SCORING CHANCE. That is Cora and Derek’s story. They had a significant role in this book, and I would like to hear their story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Goal on Rebound by author Emma Tharp is an NHL Sports Romance Storyline that takes place in Nashville. Teddy, the team goalie and Bri, a newly licensed Realtor know each other through friends who are dating. They are attracted to each other but are reticent about taking it to the next level…until their not. Then it gets steamy. Then not. Then awkward while Bri shows Teddy houses to buy. How will they move past this awkwardness? Read!
Definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure.
