Kendra has her own secret, though, and when she tells Sayer it will catapult them into a forbidden weekend spent between the sheets.

The Billionaire’s Heart – Not my type of book, but Ms. Pedersen is one of my favorite authors, so I gave it a shot. Well written and well thought out, this is a quickly read story. The storyline is cute and will probably service all the books in the series. A bunch of billionaires and their dates each beginning on a certain date per billionaire. Valentine’s Day is the first. The characters are actually interesting and mature, with good dialog; not stupidity, just maturity.
I skipped the many pages of sex since written sex to me is boring. Not even Ms. Pedersen can keep me interested since I don’t really want to read about sex. Sexual tension and the journey to the sex is what I find interesting. I like the cover since I’m bored with everyone’s semi-naked bodybuilders covers. There’s vulgar language, but I’ve been told by others that real people talk this way. This is a perfect story for Valentine’s Day or any other time actually. I haven’t been disappointed by a book from this author yet. I contacted the author to review her books. 4*
Married This Year #1 – If more romances were styled like this novel, I might read more of them. I’m looking forward to reading more of this author’s work. There was none of the usual, stupid plot of many romance novels where the two main characters had a thing, parted, and met up again. The constant theme of let’s deny what we had, make each other miserable while we still have the hots for each other, blah, blah, blah. Fortunately, Ms. Pedersen didn’t follow that script, creating an interesting, funny story filled with two believable main characters and their supportive posse.
Married This Year #2 – A good friend to have cook meals if dieting. Well written and funny; holds you captive until you’ve finished the book; too soon the ending arrives. The characters are believable and the dialog real. Again, another successful read by the author. Just don’t read it in a public place; people stare when you’re laughing out loud so much. No sex and very infrequent mild cursing.
Married This Year #3 – Hilarious! Heartwarming! Another well written, interesting romance with plenty of background happenings. The first chapter already had me lol and the laughs got louder and stronger. The smart parrot knew what to say and to whom, even if his human didn’t. I enjoyed the company and co-workers, they were good support characters. I contacted the author to review her books. I love her work! All are 5 stars.
Apparently, sweet and silly was right up my alley today. This wasn’t what I normally think of when I hear “billionaire romance”. It wasn’t even the typical boss/secretary plot, though it does take us some of the places I would expect from that scenario – just not in any of the ways I’ve seen it done before. Sayer and Kendra’s story was pure sugar-filled fun. It was over before I was ready to say “goodbye” to this couple, but I enjoyed so much watching them stumble along.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
It was a cute and quick read.
There is no drama as the story is set on a very span of time, just some incertitudes.
Sayer and Kendra give finally in their three years long attraction, since she rejected his advances, he stayed all professional with Kendra. Until his Valentin’s date does not show and faced with Kendra’s resignation, he knows he must hurry things and risk it all. While Kendra is still regretting having said no to Sayer since she discovered he is not the spoiled man she thought he would be.
Everything goes fast as they just accept their feelings and decide to give their story a chance.
I love stories that aren’t too long or too short. This has 18 chapters and it’s great. The only thing I missed was an epilogue. I’m a lover of epilogues because it gives me a glimpse of the characters’ future. That’s the only thing missing from this. I love Kendra and Sayer and how they didn’t let anything get in the way of their feelings once they vocalized them. I can’t wait for the next one.
I absolutely LOVED this steamy short story! The romance was on spot and very well written! The premise is great and I can’t wait to read each holiday book and see what happens to the next billionaire! GREAT story and fantastic writing! I loved it!
What a game! I like that this story keeps focus on the main characters without an overload of drama. I like that Kendra is smart and has values and I also like the Sayer is patient and respectful of her, he is determined though but not arrogant instead a man who knows what he wants and who he wants. I reading enjoyed their story. I am voluntarily reviewing a free copy.
This is the first book I have read by Tracey Pedersen. I thought this quick read had great characters. The boss/employee storyline was well written and kept me turning the pages. Kendra and Sayer have been attracted to each other for years but fought it until they gave in. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was a quick, fast, enjoyable read. Nine friends, all obscure billionaires make a bet to have dates for a specific holiday. Sayer Smith is up first with Valentine’s Day and he asks his mom to set him up on a blind date. What actually unfolds is the way fate wants it to, and Sayer finds himself face to face with his assistant Kendra. The only man that Kendra wants is the one that is unattainable, because he is her boss. Sometimes the fairytales do come true. Cute story!
What a way to end the weekend! The length is perfect for a quick read.
Couldn’t put it down!
I really love this book. It’s well written, funny and great characters.
A delightful contemporary romance wherein Kendra’s emotional resources have been stretched to the limits. Tired of fending off Sayer’s mother, his revolving door romances and being stuck in a job that does not recognise her abilities, Kendra comes to the realisation that it’s time to determine her future. Sayer, on the other hand, has been attracted to Kendra for over three years, but after a smart put-down keeps his feelings to himself. When the date his mother organised (much to his disgust) doesn’t turn up on Valentine’s Day, Sayer is relieved, but even more so when Kendra arrives with papers to sign. It might not be quite the save that he was hoping for, but as Kendra reveals both her plans and her secrets, there is no holding Sayer back from following his heart. The story is light-hearted, witty and entertaining. It is also a standalone and comes to a delightful conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This is a hot, steamy romance full of interesting , funny and likeable characters. The romance has its share of emotional drama. The storyline holds the reader’s interest as the characters deal with their internal struggles and external obstacles to find happiness. Then arrive is great and adds substance to the story. The hot steamy scenes add to the story rather than pose a distraction. It is an easy to read book that can be read in an evening. So if your looking for a steamy romance try this one. This is the first in a series The Secret Billionaire’s Club, so more books are for coming.
