The heat between us is intense. Their protectiveness feels real. Overnight, they become gods in … feels real. Overnight, they become gods in our town. They can’t seem to stay away from me. I can’t resist them.
Lovers don’t survive.
I can’t risk my chance to save my sister, though. Not even to save my heart.

THEIR SHIFTER PRINCESS is the first book in an exciting new reverse harem romance series

Piper has been raised with a controlling power hungry father. This makes life really hard so she has been planning her escape once she turns eighteen. When three new guys show up at school things change whether she likes it or not. They are all dream to one smothering makes sense once the secrets start con my out. An explosive ending that me look forward to the next installment. A great read for fans of paranormal reverse harem romance. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Piper, almost 18, meets Josh, Kai, and Nick at school. Piper has to escape from her abusive father and is given refuge by the guys and their uncle, Callum. She already feels an attraction to the guys. Maddie is 9, a precocious younger sister. We’ll hear her story in “Their Shifter Academy”. How Piper escapes her fate with the witches and becomes recognized and crowned as ‘their shifter princess’ makes an exciting, romantic, passionate, erotic story. There is abundant action, romance, betrayal, suffering, pain, sacrifice, and death as the story comes to a thrilling conclusion, leaving us anxious to continue the saga of Piper and her pack.
Poor Piper. Her life really sucked. This is an awesome story about hope, strength, and persistence in the face of great odds. I loved it!
An violent, abusive father and a sly, sleazy boy (Eli) who seems hell bent on dating her (no matter how many times she refuses him) are one of Piper’s (FMC) problems in her life. Until 3 new guys – Josh, Nick & Kai turn up at her school and bring their own kind of complications. Secrets & Lies surface soon after that and they could be life changing. Her sister Maddie is a little spark of light in a Piper’s pretty dark life and much needed. A great start to this series and a flaming good read too
A complex start
Piper, a high school senior, gets knocked for a loop when Josh, Kai, and Nick show up out of nowhere as the new kids in school. As the story progresses life gets harder, danger surfaces from everywhere, and determining fact from fiction seems harder than it should be. May Dawson’s Their Shifter Princess is a complex start to what could turn out to become a favorite series for me. There are definitely no straight lines in this story and I can only imagine how many more curves they will face.
I received a free copy of the book from the author and I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription. I had the opportunity to review or not.
I feel Their Shifter Princess was a great start to this series. I came into this series having already read the sister series, so I know how things end up, just not their journey. I wish I would have read this series first, and in order. But I still enjoyed the beginning just the same. I would suggest if you are new to May Dawson and want to start out in order, start here. If you are like me, starting out later, this is still a great read, and can be read as a stand alone series.
So we have lots going on here with an great female lead, who is strong. Sexy swoon worthy guys. A good storyline, and a fast pace.
Overall a great read, and one I would recommend.
I really enjoyed this book. Piper is a strong character and a fighter. The guys are really great too. They are so caring. There is a missing pack princess that needs to be found. Piper and the guys are drawn to each other without explanation. Could she be the one they are looking for? Piper has suffered a lot because of her father. She learns so much about things she had no idea existed.
Piper is trying to survive high school, figure out how to get custody of her 9yo sister, get rid of the creepy guy that’s always following her, and escape her father’s wrath … when 3 new guys start at her school, things are definitely going in a direction no one expected
This book was a great read! It had me hooked from the very beginning.
Piper is an amazing, strong, caring and loving MC especially when it comes to her sister. She has been through so much and everything changes for the better on her 18th birthday. I can wait to read book 2 to see how her story continues with Maddie and her guys.
This book was a nice surprise. I have not read this author before, I grabbed this book on a recommendation of this author from a friend and I am glad that I did. I really enjoyed Dawson’s writing style as well as the characters, plot and overall storyline of this book. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Each of the characters in this story had their own strong, individual personality that made them stand out from the others in a memorable way. I liked the fact that each character had a mind of their own (not blindly following the others) and did what they thought was right, what their gut instinct told them was the right thing to do. Regardless of the bickering and arguments, they each had their own mind and followed their own feelings but had the resolve to come together as a team and do what was best for them all when it mattered most. I enjoyed the attraction between Piper and the guys and the push-pull chemistry they all tried unsuccessfully to avoid and I enjoyed the connection she formed with each of the guys separately and how they all interacted when together in a group.
I also enjoyed Piper’s bond with her little sister, Maddie; they had a great relationship built on honesty, trust and unwavering love. Piper’s transformation from the awkward, quiet girl who was timid and unsure and tried to be invisible to the confident, strong, determined young lady who fought for what she wanted and those she loved was nice to see as well. She had a rough life, from a lost family and memories, stolen childhood, abusive father, a creepy school bully who wanted to own her, having no friends and enduring the gossip behind her back. However, she was a survivor and determined to make her and Maddie’s life better.
This read also had several twists and turns presented throughout as well as secrets exposed and the overall mystery of Piper’s origin revealed (though I do wish there would have been a bit more detailed information shared regarding her background; hopefully more will be provided in the other books in the series). There was a steady flow of suspense and anticipation to hold interest as the story unfolded. There were also nasty bad guys, funny and lighthearted moments, flirting, sweet and caring moments, budding romances and light sexy times, as well as sadness, emotional turmoil and action throughout.
I really enjoyed this book and have high hopes for the others in the series. I am glad I gave this author a try. I will definitely be adding her to my ‘to read’ list and will be looking into her other works as well.
This set of books precedes – Unwanted (Their Shifter Academy #1) which introduced me to May Dawson, and I will admit I am becoming a bit of a fan and will most likely binge read her whole back log over the next few months. This book started as though it would be a nasty bully book but read through this as it isn’t. yes, there is a little bullying but its tame – it is however a really good storey with a few twists and turn along with a sassy female MC who has a certain amount of vulnerability, but she grows stronger throughout the storey. This book draws you in and then completely holds you by the short and curley’s until you have finished so expect to lose sleep and don’t be tempted to download book 2 until you have time as that seems to be doing the same. Really, really enjoyable storey to lose yourself in
Wow! So much evil and cruelty, just to have power! Full of wicked witches, a
poor princess, a little sister, handsome kind shifters, and magical adventures. Fighting to free herself and protect her little sister, she finds no help from the adults, only from the new kids. Can she survive the abuse of her father? Can she save herself? Will the guys realize in time she is the one they are searching for? Or will they be too late? A wonderful story of survival and betrayal, after a lifetime of lies and abuse will she finally be free?
This book kept me awake way past my bedtime. On finishing, picking up book 2 was as natural as breathing. It’s such a fun, intense NA PNR read.
I swooned, gasped, had that gut-tightening worry, and melted at the gorgeousness of the gorgeous men in her life.
Fast-paced and easy to read, this book is a must read for paranormal romance lovers.
I loved every moment.
Ya\Na. Paranormal. Rh. 4 wolf shifters. High school setting. Abused heroine. Three new student show up at Pipper’s school. She has a draw to them she can explain. And they are on a mission with there “uncle” to find their lost princess. I liked it. HEA? It seemed to stop their and I’d be fine with that, but it could also have another book too. And I’d also be fine with that. There are some questions that didn’t get answers.
