The 12th book in the Hannah Swensen cozy mystery series, Plum Pudding Murder, published in 2009 and written by Joanne Fluke, gets 3.5 stars. I’m skipping my normal detailed and formatted review, as you can only say so many new and different things about similar-type books. That said, I enjoyed this edition and would recommend it to existing fans …
A pretty good holiday story. Mike has cemented his reason for being with Hannah (to me anyways), he seems to only care about the food. It wasn’t to hard to figure out who the killer was but there was alot of suspects that it could have been. Always happy to read or reread a Hannah Swenson story.
Hannah and Norman have discovered the owner of the Crazy Elf Christmas Tree lot has been murdered. Not only is there another murder in town Hannah’s old lover from college shows up to Christmas dinner with her younger sister Michelle.
I’m loving this series. The endings keep getting better. The ending for plum pudding literally made me go “oh …
What a lovely group of friends and interesting community.
I quite tired of this series. There’s not much new; all books are pretty much the same, ust with a different title.
Great seasonal read.
Once again, Hannah finds herself caught up in a murder investigation, and one of the better ones so far in this series. I’ll jump right into it, since if you’ve read this series to this point, you know the drill in Lake Eden (and really, you should start from Book 1 because while the mysteries stand alone, the long term story lines make more sense …
I love the characters and the intriguing mysteries in these books. I enjoying escaping to Lake Eden and the wonderful recipes too!
A fan of Joanne Fluke books. This one good as others.
It’s a nice cozy mystery. The characters are fun. The recipes sound amazing!
A quick read. I like the series but find Hannah to be dumb sometimes. You know the end of the book is coming when Hannah finds herself in trouble and hasn’t told anyone where she is going.
Hannah finds another dead body, this time the man running the local Christmas tree lot. Yeah, the series is stuck in a rut, but I still really enjoy them.
Book was much better than TV show.
A good and easy read.
