If you are looking for a sweet, funny, loving read then this is it. He is not ready for a relationship but needs a date to his ex girlfriends marriage to his ex best friend. She is not ready for a relationship either but agrees to be his date to this wedding. Then she has the bright idea to be a phony fiance. I loved this book. I really hated to see it end. I highly recommend it. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
Dear Phoney Fiancé by Alexx Andria a five-star read that isn’t a fake. Simply fabulous this was a great short read, you are rooting for Cara and Jace from the beginning if you have ever had a rotten ex you will get this story and even if you haven’t you will get a great story from this. You will discover that no matter who you are there is a lid for you somewhere. I can’t wait to read more from this great author.
I have read a few books in this Matchmajer series and I really like them. The books are quick reads as they are more in the short story side but they are perfect for a commute read or not alot of free time. All of the stories, that I have read so far, leave you with a complete story. This story is about two people needing to get back at their exes. Both Jace and Cara have been cheated on and are having a hard time getting over it. Jace in particular had his fiance cheat with his best friend and now they are getting married and he needs to be at the wedding. Jace is looking for a hot date or a relationship. Cara is setup by her two best friends who are really worried about her and feel it’s time to get back out un the dating pool. This was a great read on what starts out as a fake relationship for revenge but comes so much more.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another great book in this series by multiple authors. This was a sweet cute read. Cara is still reeling after her boyfriend cheats on her whilst away at college. Her friends intervene and get her set up with a dating profile and voila a man called Jace to go out to dinner with. Jace has an ulterior motive for wanting a girlfriend. To get one over on his ex who walked out on him and went with his ex friend. As Cara and Jace navigate their fake relationship you know things are going to happen. Insta love is the order of the day in this book. A great read from start to finish.
The Lid for Her Pot
I love that saying. It’s perfect!
Cara’s friends sign her up for a matchmaking site when a bad break up has her curling into herself & looking to order a ‘crazy cat lady kit’. Lol. Jace too had a bad breakup & needs to find a date quick because he got duped into going to his ex-best friend & his ex-girlfriend’s wedding.
Cara lets Jace know that she’s not ready to get out there and he lets her know he’s not really looking for a relationship, just a date to rub it in his Ex’s faces. So they hatch a plan. But all plans can change.
This is a fantastic story. I laughed & smiled so much at the banter & chemistry. The line “Spill the tea, sis.” had me laughing & texting my daughters because they say that!! I also hoped & prayed for the HEA. This story does not disappoint.
The Matchmaker Series is a collaboration of short stories by different authors linked in the same world. Grab some coffee or wine if you prefer. Get comfy and prepare to be romanced into Valentine’s just as these authors know how to do. Swooning!! I love, love, love these short stories of romance with just enough steam to keep it more interesting

A well written quick read. The characters are fun and the dates they go on are a blast. I definitely recommend.
