Obsession. Heartbreak. Turmoil. That’s how this story beginsSick fixation…Wicked temptation…Cracked facades slowly expose everything we hid from the other. All the pretty lies bleed into ugly truths.Rhett Sullivan? He doesn’t exist. And Nova Markov? She’s dead.
I need more!! Nova and Rhett (Rhys) are the best toxic relationship. The need they feel for each other is insane. Seriously, I need more!!
Sick fixations and wicked temptations
This was the conclusion of Rhett and Nova’s story. Nova’s whole life was a lie. She pretended to be an innocent beauty when she was always a deviant. She’s the ying to Rhett’s yang. I love these characters and the craziness they embody. I feel like there’s still more to be learned and I can’t wait for the next book. This is shaping up to be another great series for Natalie Bennett
I loved catching up with this sick, twisted duo who are Rhys and Nova. Sick Remedies had the right amount of mayhem, lust, and blood. The characters, the author created, are always kick*ss. I don’t know if I’m coming or going when I read something because I get completely mindf*cked.
I’m wondering what will occur in the future for Rhys and Nova. And how will Emery fair when she is up against the dark boyish wiles of Callum?
Sick Remedies is book two in the duet. I really liked it but I felt it was way too short! I needed more. I love Rhett and Nova together. I also loved how obsessed Rhett was with her! Loved loved him. Can’t wait for Emery and Callum.
I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
This is the follow up to sweet poisons and conclusion to the story of Nova and Rhett. I love everything Natalie Bennett writes and this was no exception. Nova and Rhett fit perfectly together even if she may need some convincing. It’s the dark, crazy, twisted relationship you’ve come to know and love with Natalie’s books. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because this book left me with unanswered questions and I felt it was too quick of a read. However I’m excited for the next book about 2 of the other characters that I’m curious about.
Thrilling!
There was no end to the suspense and intrigue thrown into this story. Nova and Rhett are unstable, unpredictable and extremely volatile characters. But you can’t help falling in love with them and their passion to survive and for each other. Their story is one crazy ride!
Once you start reading, you won’t be able to stop. This epic conclusion is fast paced and very thrilling. I can’t wait for more!
I really really enjoyed this book. I read Sweet Poison and Sick Remedies back to back, and finished the series within 2 days. Natalie Bennett is one of my top favorite Dark Romance Authors. Anytime a new book comes out of hers, it’s an instant 1 click for me. I loved following the twisted romance of Rhett and Nova, and I hope the author gives Emery a book as well. Fingers crossed it happens. I cant stop recommending this series to my fellow Dark Romance readers. This series is definitely a re-read for me.
***3.5 Stars***
I find myself in a bit of a conundrum with this book.
On the one hand, it was a quick read and gave me, more or less, the answers to most of the questions and issues that were raised in Sweet Poisons. And yet, on the other hand, I feel like there should have been more. More of what, I can’t even put into words, it’s simply that feeling that things could have gone deeper.
But as far as Nova and Rhett. I liked that the “true” Nova finally came out to play, she is definitely not as ‘innocent’ as many believe, but there is a strong sense of right and wrong in her ~ even when that sense is a bit…skewed. As for Rhett, there is nothing more enticing than a person who doesn’t back down from what they want and he definitely doesn’t take no for an answer. As for their journey…I would have liked to watch them get deeper with each other, but they do acknowledge that while they still need to get to know each other, they are both under each others skins and they’ll make it work.
As I said. I would have liked more, but even with that being stated, I still enjoyed the book overall and am looking forward to Callum and Emery’s book and seeing how they work their issues out.

I have been impatiently waiting for the conclusion to Rhett and Nova’s story and it was so worth the wait!!
Nova has lived a lie. She doesn’t want to give in to the turmoil and craziness inside her head. Her transformation was like the butterfly she so loves. Hauntingly beautiful. She emerged into this woman that she was all along. Rhett didn’t give her any leeway. He pushed and pushed until she became what she was always suppose to become. How I find Rhett so fecking sexy, I’ll never know
I’m excited for more from this psychotic family, and I can’t wait to fall in love with Callum.
Awesome read!!
Received ARC from Author for Honest Review.
I Give this Book a 3.5-4/5 Star Rating, Listing as 3.
HEA(?): Yes.
Dark: 2/5 (for me) it may be darker to other readers.
Romance: 3.5/5
Drama: 3/5
Suspense: 3.5/5
Heat: 3.5-4/5
This a very fast read, I wasn’t expecting that.
It wasn’t as dark as I thought it was going to be, it also felt a but rushed so anything depth wise felt like it was..skipped(?) or maybe fast forwarded a little, some answers that I was curious about wasn’t answered.
None of the characters that were ‘behind the curtain’ (so to speak) actually showed up in the book, just mentioned and they were the ones you wanted to see the most, the ones to make a huge impact.
I think this should’ve been a trilogy rather than a duet.
I think Rhett and Nova are my fav couple so far, actually I think I say that about each couple Natalie Bennett writes about. But something about these two, they are like the perfect dark couple. Natalie Bennett is easily my fav writer, her books keep getting better and better, especially if you like the dark twisted books like i do. Loved the ending to their story now I’m dying for Emery and Callums book next!
Saying that i’ve been waiting on this book is an understatement, Natalie gave Nova and Rhett one hell of a conclusion.
This is a dark love story that had me hooked from book one and that carried on with this one. Two characters who are perfect fo each other. Who else can write such bloodthirsty gore and make the reader feel the romance. This duet was an intense ride from start to finish and I LOVED every dark delicious word.

Sick Remedies is a perfect ending for Rhett and Nova I’m kinda sad its over I just loved them so much. Rhett and Nova are perfect for each other in everyway. Rhett is obsessed with Nova its kinda sweet and crazy at the same time some of the stuff he did to get her .So many secrets got answered some of them blew my mind. Such a beautifully dark and twisted love story and I loved it. Now I got to know more about Emery and Callum. I highly recommend this duet it is a 5 read for me.
This book starts off where book 1 left us and what a conclusion it is.
Nova and Rhett story is dark one they sure are meant for each other in some twisted way, I was hooked from the first page, It is twisted dark and amazing.
I really hoped we hear from this couple again. such a great duet.
I know this is a Duet but I wish it didn’t have to end.
This book jumps right in where book one ends. Nova knows Rhett isn’t who he says he is. She already knew he was dangerous but she’s still not seeing the whole picture. She doesn’t want to take on his issues as she has her own craziness to deal with but Rhett isn’t planning on letting her go anytime soon.
Nova learns even her bestfriends have been keeping things from her, things that could crush her whole world.
