A trail of bodies follows this book and Miu needs to figure out what it all means. Interesting mother-daughter tale. Good story line.
Great series
A wonderful tale of strong, determined women, that I found uplifting and empowering. A book I will definitely be recommending to my 15 year old granddaughter, who is a voracious reader with great taste in books!
Well- written and well plotted. The premise is very interesting and different from other books I’ve read. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Fast paced fun read. All Ty Hutchinson’s Books are Great.
I am currently reading this book and cannot put it down. I like the plot and characters involved.
This book took me places I had not been before. Intriguing, interesting characters, suspense.
Loved the spunk of the young main character. Certainly has the appeal to keep me enticed enough to want to read the follow-up adventures.
An action packed thriller that lets the reader observe the evolution of a young assassin’s life and the beginning of a career. You will enjoy Mui’s growth into adulthood and developing on the path she thinks she’s destined for.
The best news ever: Ty is still my main man. I love his stories; they keep me on the edge and I have yet to figure out the crooks or the end solutions. Unpredictable and so rewarding. Oh, everyone on my contact list have heard about my main man Ty.
A very beginning for the Mui Assassin Series. I look forward to the next in the series. Mui’s education in life is now beginning, a step into reality Mui sorely needed, one she’s lucky to survive here.
The entire premise was not believeable. A teenage assassin? Really?
Interesting. A bit too unrealistic at times, but…. Worth a read.
This book is about a teen girl who gets sent to a boarding school by her mother after she mixes it up with the local crime lord. She finds she has a talent for archery at her school. She also comes across a mysterious book filled with codes and tries to return it to the bookstore but attracts the attention of a killer.
Let me start by saying I love Ty’s books with Sei as the main character. This is the first in the series about Sei’s daughter Mui who we were introduced to in the Sei series. I was disappointed in this book mainly because I thought Ty made Mui’s thought processes too mature for her age of thirteen. Hopefully in the rest of the series Mui will think and act more like what one would expect from a mature 13 year old. Otherwise an enjoyable read..
I would say this is a good adventure story for young teenagers except for the fact that the teenaged heroine herself kills at least two people. A teen as judge and executioner – ugh.
Great book with lots of action.
Recommend to pre-tens. Combat scenarios unrealistic and timing sequences faulty.
Drags in the middle.
