I really enjoyed this listen from Diana Knightley, This is the second in the Kaitlyn and the Highlander series, which is a time-travel romance following Kaitlyn and Magnus, and it is so much fun, and just a pure delight.
Keira Stevens does a great job bringing Kaitlyn to life, and the she really captures the humor and the fun of these novel. The novel is very whimsical and full of humor. In this second novel, Kaitlyn and Magnus are married, and Magnus has travelled back in time with Kaitlyn, but they’ve been separated. A lot of the novel is how they find their way back to each other.
Such a fun listen, and I’ll definitely be listening to the rest of this series.
Kaitlyn and Magnus story continues. There plenty of mystery regarding the time capsule and how it works. Traveling to 1700 Scotland was an eye opening experience for Kaitlyn.
This series is getting better and better. I can’t wait to see wht happen in the next book.
Keira Stevens narration is wonderful. she portrays all the characters, accents with perfection.

I enjoyed this book more than the first. We dive deeper into Kaitlyn and Magnus’s relationship and really get to know them. The title is perfect for this story as time and space do keep them apart. long distance romances ar so hard, imagine addin in the factor of time. Each trip is dangerous and when Kaitlyn has to return without Magnus, she has no way to know what is going on. I felt her relief as he returned to the present, or the future. The jumps were smooth and not confusing in this book. Kaitlyn and Magnus really did grow a lot together. I did understand kaitlyn more in this installment and was able to really enjoy her story.
Keira Stevens once again narrated this story with a wonderful performance. Keeping the characters consistent made the flow between the two books seamless. Keira really brought Kaitlyn to life in this installment. Kaitlyn’s strength and will was made apparent from the narration. I cannot wait to hear more in this series and from Keira.
This is the second book in the Kaitlyn and the Highlander Series, a Contemporary Romance mixed with a Historical Romance, and a time travel story. The story continues where the first book left off. The storyline is suspenseful and action packed. I love Magnus and Kaitlyn together. The cast of supporting characters is great. Keira Stevens did a great job with the narration, and the accents. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Warrior of My Own.
I listened to the Audible version. This is not a stand alone book in that you have to have read Kaitlyn and the Highlander first. Their story continues beyond book 2, but I actually think book 2 ends in a good place.
I also liked the characters a lot better in the second book than in the first book. They seem to have mostly grown up, though there is a reference to “being a grown up and quitting after my shift” that made me think most responsible grown ups would give two weeks notice.
Keira Stevens does a great job with the narration making it really easy to listen to the story. I don’t speak Gaelic so I have no idea if she’s doing it right, but I give her a lot of credit for making it sound easy.
If you made it through the first book, I would recommend listening to this one.
