New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Carrie Ann Ryan continues her sexy new contemporary stand-alone series with an enemies-to-lovers office romance.Paris Trissel is in a dating rut. Despite the pact she made with her friends to find someone to share her life with, she’s throwing in the towel after only a few blind dates. Add in the fact that the new hire at the job she used to love … to love happens to be the Brady brother she can’t stand, and Paris is having a terrible year.
Prior Brady’s life seems pretty perfect from the outside. He has a wonderful, caring girlfriend, a family he’s never been closer to, and a new job he can’t wait to sink his teeth and talents into. Too bad the woman he has to work with for hours a day hates him on sight.
Once the two are forced to find the balance between chemistry and temptation, however, they’ll realize they’re stronger together than apart. Except when Paris’s past comes back with a vengeance, bringing terror, pain, and horror with it, both she and Prior will have to lean on each other.
In more ways than one.

Family is not always everything! Debra @janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
What a powerhouse of a tale. I love that Prior knows that Paris is a strong female and can fend for herself. That what she needs is support not for someone to fight her battles for her. Especially when her past that he is unaware of comes back with bang.
Prior is unsure at first about how things would go down especially as he thought Paris hated him. He is also confused about his current relationship and if it is really what he wants. Especially as he feels a big attraction to Paris.
The friendships of the Brady brothers and the four girlfriends also adds awareness to their dynamic as well as the concern for the future.
I am really enjoying this series with its intrigue, passion and friendships.
From That Moment by Carrie Ann Ryan is part of A Promise me series. This is Paris & Prior’s story. Even though they start off as sort of enemies, they are forced to work together and begin to develop a friendship. Neither one thinks it will go beyond that, but when tragedy strikes, all bets are off.
This is a well written book that delves into a dark, dangerous childhood. It does have some potential triggers, so you are forewarned. The secondary characters are wonderful, making you want their stories ASAP. From That Moment is a quick, easy read with some seriously hot scenes as well as danger and suspense. I’m anxiously awaiting the next book!
love the Brady brothers
love this series
Pryor and Paris grabbed my heart
intense emotional broken beautiful love story
ready for Macon
Both Paris and Prior are just like the rest of us. Dont have an f’n clue what they’re doing and dont have a plan about anything, they’re winging it, just like the rest of us. They’re real and down to earth and have weird shitty days just like the rest of us…..and then they have omg wtf type days where you wouldnt believe it if you werent there.
They never planned on being together, that just happened. But boy am I glad it did. They WORK like the fates had deemed it.
I loved their story and I loved the glimpses we get into the other four singletons in their group. I have a hunch about them, I wonder if I’m right. Dowsnt matter, I know I’m gonna enjoy their journeys just as much as I enjoyed Paris and Prior. Please for all that’s left of my sanity, Carrie Ann Ryan, if these two have kids….dont name them anything beginning with P. Please!!! X
Loved it, it felt real and genuine and a damn good read.
I love this series. The blind date pact just keeps getting funnier. Love a strong independent woman who will stand up for herself and not allow anyone to knock her down. Paris is amazing. And it takes a very confident man like Prior to love her just the way she is.
Wonderful read. Paris has been going on her blind dates that her friends set up and they keep getting. She runs into Prior twice while she is one them, then he starts work at her branch. He does coding, she finds bugs in it. She doesn’t like him but can’t really say why. They become friends and then more. He has this wonderful family and she had an awful one. There is romance, drama (lots of that) and then a horrid attack. A good book that let us visit with old friends. I got this book from the author for an honest review
Paris is going on blind dates, to see if she can find the one. It’s part of the pack she made with her friends, Hazel has found hers & now it’s Maria’s turn. Prior is meant to be in a date with his girlfriend Alison, but keeps turning up at the same place Paris is on her dates.
This book is about her nightmares, her job & her life & now Prior helps her with it all, plus how they feel in love with each other!
Wow this story has so much emotion that parts of it are hard to read. Paris is such a strong person but she has had to be to overcome her past. Prior is such a great guy, he wants to protect Paris but at the same time he lets her tackle her problems in her own way. The four friends pact to set each other up on blind dates leads to some very unfortunate encounters. Prior somehow tends to be in the right place to rescue Paris and they naturally fall into a relationship that is hot and steamy. Another great book and I can’t wait to see what happens with the other brothers.
Prior and Paris just kinda, sorta, happened. They just kinda ended up being friends after being acquaintances. They sorta ended up being attracted to each other the more they spent time together as friends. They happened to fall for each other once they were honest with themselves about their feelings for the other. They were sweet, truthful, forward, and understanding in turn. They also were hot and sexy together. Of course, we had to have a baddie lurking trying to mess with their lives in general. There are a few good candidates from Paris, and Prior has his own as well. These problems each caused different types of chaos, and our couple handles it all, and then the real problem strikes. These two want their HEA and nothing is going to keep them apart. They pull through and you are pulling for them from the start, because they fit so wonderfully together!
