High school… How many people have hated high school? Or school in general because of bullies? Well, here is certainly a delicious thought towards revenge… But is revenge as sweet as some say? This is a beautiful romance with a lot of hidden agenda in it, of course most everyone loves HEA and as this one is a romance almost like an old fashioned one without a really bad villain or two, it was just really nice to read and made me laugh a bit as well. All in all quite a quick and easy to read story that was fun to read. I can just hope you like it as much as I did.

Enemies to Lovers
Rose is book worm. She works in a book store while she dreams of being a writer. Seth is a professional football player sidelined for good by an injury. They both join Grace Graham’s old school matchmaking service when given a push by their friends. This Matchmaker has the couple exchange handwritten letters to get to know one another. What these two don’t realize is that they have a shared past that Rose still harbors feelings about making the road to a match a very tumultuous one.
This story had so many feels from both characters. I couldn’t contain my huge grin after the ‘revenge’ scene. Great stuff!!
The Matchmaker Series is a collaboration of short stories by different authors linked in the same world. Grab some coffee or wine if you prefer. Get comfy and prepare to be romanced into Valentine’s just as these authors know how to do. Swooning!! I love, love, love these short stories of romance with just enough steam to keep it more interesting
From bully to lover. Not bad. She hated him in high school and as an adult. She held that anger until she got him back for the hurt he caused her. She felt bad after which should have been sign that she needed to let go of the anger. Guess it was enough. She fell for him when she let it go and found happiness. Life really does move on when your bully falls in love with you. Good read

For 98% of this book it was getting five stars (the first time I would have given a Tracy Lorraine book five stars) as it was the best book she had written but then the end happened, and it let me down.
I kept saying over and over as I was reading it, please don’t end how I think it’s going to end, please. However, it did, it ended the same way she’s finished the last couple of books. Not everything is about ‘that’, people can live happily ever after without that happening!
It was such a true story up until that; Rose didn’t just give in and fall for Seth straight away she made him fight for her trust and her love. I loved this about the book, as sometimes the storylines in these short books can be too easy. Rose stuck to her guns for an acceptable amount of time. You could really feel her anguish when she met her ‘match’.
The best of the three ‘Matchmaker’ books that I read by far despite the ending!
So what is a girl to do when her best friend convinces her to join a dating site? Apparantly, What the Heart Wants is not your typical dating/hookup site…..you start off writing letters to one another before you even meet and go from there. Rose thinks it is old fashioned and agrees to give it a try, why not as long as she doesn’t get paired up with a football player all is good. So what do you think of when you address your letter as Book Nerd 69? Or what do you think of receiving a letter signed All Star Player.
Interestingly enough, we find out Rose is matched up with her high school bully Seth Brady. Meeting Seth, all of Rose’s barriers begin to make sense. Seth has found himself in uncharted territory as he is a pro football player with a career ending injury. But when he meets with Rose after exchanging a few letters and gifts, he has found a new focus, gain Rosie’s forgiveness. This is a great story of forgiveness and finding your happy ever after.

Rose and Seth was a classmate in high school but he bullied her through those years so I understand why she hates him so much. Graham and Rose set the pages on fire with their hot attraction and fierce battles.
Rose and Seth connect through a dating service. They meet in person, and discover they went to high school together. Seth doesn’t recognize her, but she recognizes him. Seth was a bully to Rose. Good book about second chances, well written.

I really am enjoying this series I have read a few of them and really liked them and Rose and Seth’s story did not disappoint. These two get matched up and exchange letters but they have a past and Rose is determined to get revenge on him. A super read and a great addition to the multi-author series
What began as a battle of wills, quickly becomes a meeting of hearts. It’s a fight to the finish and it’s anybody’s game. Graham and Rose set the pages on fire with their hot attraction and fierce battles. Lorraine keeps it spicy and sassy.
Rose Moore finally decides to try What The Heart Wants, an old fashion match making service that starts with the written word. Letters.
Seth is a has been football jock who has no plan B. His buddies set him up with a match. Rose.
But these two have a past and Seth was the villain in it.
I love how Rosie got her revenge.
Recommend cuz it’s still sweet.
