A marriage bargain catapults the prince of rock and the princess of Martinovia to super-couple status, but a romantic honeymoon will prove to be the real test.LeoMy world is filled with everything most men desire—money, women, fame. The fans are great, but I’m an introvert, and the punishing pace of my career saps my creativity. I crave a life outside the spotlight, where I can create music in … the spotlight, where I can create music in peace.
But that freedom comes with a price.
When I met Honoré, I had no idea she was a princess. And now I’m forced to marry her in order to prevent an international incident.
In exchange, I win my freedom. And even though I hate the terms, I’m committed to the process. The fact that I’m incredibly hot for my new bride is simply a bonus.
Honoré
I only wanted to have a little fun—go to a concert, meet a handsome rock star.
But ditching my security detail and pretending to be a groupie has landed me a husband and an unwanted starring role on the reality TV show “Honeymoon with the Royals”.
Living out a relationship in front of cameras would take its toll on the most solid relationship. I’m terrified of what it might do to a fake one.
Secretly, I hope the magical places we visit will help my husband discover there’s a real woman underneath the tiara. Because, whether I like it or not, he had me at “I do.”

I fell in love with a bad boy rocker and his Princess Charming. Honore’ and Leo are strangers in the night until their fantasy is hit by a dose of reality. Can they survive the backstabbing of a family matriarch, the unpredictability of life and the heartache of falling in love, with the whole world looking on. Royal Wrecker modernizes the childhood image of love and gives it a naughty, adult twist. Alleman packs all the drama of a soap into a fantasy frame and walked away with my heart.
Royal Wrecker (Barnes Family #4) was a good read by Normandie Alleman. Leo is a rock star who has everything that most people want. But he’s a introvert who wants a life outside the spotlight. He had no idea Honore was a princess and now he’s forced to marry her. Now they have a reality TV show “Honeymoon with the Royals”. I really enjoyed reading Leo and Honore’s story and can’t wait to read more by the author.
A fairy tale romance with a catch
Royal Wrecker: A Stand Alone Royal Romance (Barnes Family Book 4) is a well written continuation of the Barnes Family saga without needing to have read the previous 3 books.
I absolutely love and adore Leo and Honore’, individually and together, from the very beginning. These well developed characters are interesting and engaging, have similar vulnerabilities and take the situation and make it their own.
Despite their fairy-tale like beginning, the plot does provide some conflict and it literally tears them apart. There was always a sense that even though the relationship was developing well, Leo and Honore’ falling in love, that there was something brewing behind the scenes. This sense created an urgency to turn the pages and see how everything turns out. It was emotionally painful, so sad, for the characters as well as for me! The antagonist from previous Barnes Family books continues to plague the Barnes siblings! But no worries, you don’t need to read the first three books to understand what’s happening in this one. However, if you like this one too, try the first three!!
Overall, a well written romance I loved reading that is sweet, loving, steamy, luxurious, worldly, fun, exciting and in the end an especially promising HEA.
To Normandie Alleman, I thank you for the creation of the Barnes family and this series. Your incredible talent and creativity has lured me in for each and every book, as it pertains to this chaotic family. Each installment is just as addictive as the next and your talent knows no end. It is so easy to love these realistically crafted characters and the scenarios/storyline is designed beautifully. Leo is God’s gift to music and Honore’ is a Princess that falls for the ‘real man’ he actually is, not to rockstar personna he shows the world. After a chance encounter, as well as a night that could of been, they’ve each find themselves at their parents mercy, and the story just takes off from there. I try extremely hard never to give away any part of the plot and I can only assure you that from beginning to end this romance is the stuff of dreams. Is it easy, no. Can these two get their happily ever after? You can find out right here, in these well-crafted pages.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader’s copy of Royal Wrecker in exchange for my honest & voluntarily given opinion. Should you not be familiar with this impressive Author, I would encourage you to pick up anything published by Normandie and become an avid fan, just like myself. Trust that you will most definitely be completely enthralled from beginning to end of anything published by Normandie Alleman and never be disappointed.
I loved this take on a royal romance! Honoré is a princes who wants to experience life as a “normal” person. Leo is a rock star desperate to get out from under his mother’s control. Once hot night between them leads to an arranged marriage for the public. As they get to know each other they begin to truly fall for each other. It’s not until finally admit their true feelings do they find out the twist his mother has out in place that looks to destroy everything they have built. This is a sweet, passionate, drama filled story – one that I didn’t want to end!
AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT!!!
Wow! Talk about an absolute joy. Man, Normandie brings it when she comes, and she comes out swinging. There is nothing held back or cut short that feels it was in anyway rushed. She packs a punch and leaves you wanting more. She brings every emotion you have front and center in a whirlwind that draws you in so deeply, your only focus is on the tale playing out before you. You’re kept on a razors edge, barely breathing hanging on tightly throughout. She lays out one amazing storyline and smoking plot that brings this bad boy roaring to life flawlessly. The chemistry between the two main characters is hot, palpable and sizzling. The characters are complex with such depth and individuality it feels like you can just reach out and touch them. The scenes are so graphically descriptive and detailed you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Normandie totally rocked this little gem with such on point realism you can’t help but fall in love with the characters. Remarkable job Normandie, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Sweet, sexy, and of course filled with drama caused by Lucinda. I was hooked by this book and did not want to release it to do the adult thing called work.
Leo has gotten himself in a bind. He was caught having sex with a groupie who, well, wasn’t a groupie. She was a princess. Honore` wanted a night to be normal, to go to a concert, to not be in the spotlight. She got more than she bargained for when she went backstage at Leo’s concert. Now they must get married.
I loved this book. I love seeing the baby brother, Leo, grow up and take charge. I loved how he falls in love with his wife even though he never wanted to settle down. Honore` does a great job in taming Leo…. or does she? Remember the Lucinda drama? Well no spoilers but DAYUM, I really do not like that woman. There is an HEA, but the journey there is awesome!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
