One of my favorite books from one of my favorite series. I recommend this series to everyone, literally everyone. Readers. Nonreaders. Strangers on the street. I think anyone who enjoys PNR will love these books and be unable to put them down. I was so happy when Tor finally got his book and the way it all played out… EEEK! I don’t want to give …
Fantastic series! Every character is so unique and special. The world amazing. And the over arching story line is so interesting!
3.5 stars
You guys, I haven’t read a Lords of the Underworld book since September! That’s 5 months! Unacceptable. One of my reading resolutions for this year (2020) is to not overextend myself on my reading commitments, and this is a prime example as to why I wanted to make that resolution. I’ve greatly enjoyed many, if not most, of the books …
I start every one of these books with this feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach because so many have been terrible. I was fully expecting Torin to disappoint me just as much as most of the other Lords, turns out I’m happy to say that I was wrong. It’s a good feeling too.
The story started out a bit slow, but picked up about 35% in. It was …
I love all of Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld, it’s a great series. I’m hooked on them and always look forward to the next one. I know that one day the series will have an ending, I’m just hoping it’s not too soon. The characters are great, dangerous, loving, romantic, temperamental and endearing, can’t help but fall in love with these …
Love it
With each new book I can’t help but think it can’t be better than the last but then it is. I enjoy falling in love with each character as I read about their ups and downs. The inner battles and the physical battles hold so much emotion. You can’t help but be sucked in.
This was tough to finish. What happened to Torin’s personality? Where was the calm, intelligent, controlled, capable man? I understand that a hero’s lady love is supposed to bring even the toughest of warriors to his knees but this story didn’t match the image I got of Torin’s character from the previous books. On top of that, I simply didn’t feel …
Every book in this series is a blue ribbon winner.
I have read all previous L of U books & enjoyed them. Sadly this was not one of them. I had to stop reading after page 100 when I realized I was just reading words & could not find the story. It was boring & not up to the prior books standards. Still looking forward to Williams story some day.
