I never expected Nate Ryder to change my life the way he did.Hell, I never expected to fall in love with the one guy who made my life a living hell for five years, but here I am. He’s the perfect example of something I never knew I needed. He’s my rock. My salvation. He’s exactly what I need when my life goes up in flames. I thought the worst was over. I thought I was safe to move on from the … safe to move on from the horrors of the past few weeks, but I have never been so wrong.
If I knew my life would spiral out the way it did, I would have just stayed in bed with the covers pulled right over my head, but this time, it’s not only my life spiraling out of control. It’s theirs.
Nobody messes with my boys except for me.
This time it means war.
This time I’m pulling up my big girl panties.
This time they’ll learn not to mess with Tora Roberts and the Ryder brothers.
This time we’re putting them down and that’s where they’re going to stay.

This second installment was much better than the first. So much happened and I don’t want to give much away but it was hilarious for one, it had triumphant moments, it had suspense, romance, crazy unpredictable plot twists and surprises.
Nate’s rival from the local private school who hit on Tora in the last book has now transferred to Broken Hill High and is causing all sorts of chaos. Also Josh Henderson, the guy who attacked Tora and was kicked out of school is back. He is at the private school now but shows up at parties and football games threatening Tora when Nate isn’t around.
There is also family drama in both of their families. So many things leading up to an explosive ending. I loved it.
This continues Nate and Toras story. I seriously enjoy this series so far. They are still dealing with everything that has already happened plus some more unexpected things. My heart went out for Tora, Nate and Jesse for in this one. I could not put down and can not wait for the next part one to come out!
3.5 stars for Broken Hill Halo book 2 in the Broken Hill High series.
The story of Nate and Tora continues in this second book. What happens when you fall in love with the boy who has made your life hell. More secrets are revealed in this book . Not just between Nate and Tora but also their families and one secret could break them all. Tora does become a strong heroine in this book which i like . She is protecting herself and others more . “payback is going to be a fucking nasty bitch”
This series is getting good. It is pulling you in and not letting you go . Truth are being revealed and dangers are lurking around the corner. What is to come .
Things are even more drama filled this time around., crashes, fights, secrets spilled! As we continue Toras senior year at Broken Hill High, we are captivated by all that surrounds her! So good,
Love this series.. Ready for more
This story has a little of everything, sweet romance, sexy overbearing and frustrating alpha make and a beautiful woman who has the right heart and spirit. Thoroughly enjoying and entertaining.

The great character and storyline development made this book a very enjoyable read and kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book!
I loved this book. If you love books that have hot guys, an angsty heroine, and drama then this is the book. This series is the perfect mix of teenage drama, family, and friends. When you think things can’t get any worse and yet they do. Tora and the Ryder Boys do what they need to do to get things done. This series has quickly become a favorite.

This is the second book in the series and it’s crazy like a dramatic soap opera! And of course there’s something about soap opera train wrecks that kinda of pull me in and keep me there until I know who is doing what. In the first book Tora, falls for Nate when it seems like her entire world is falling apart. This time Tora has to return the favor and be there not just for Nate, but Jesse as well who has become the little brother she never had. I would definitely recommend reading the first book, before you dive into this one, it really helps to know where the characters are coming from and how they had developed since then. FUN read!!!
Always as strong and unpredictable
Very good continuation of “Broken High Hill”, with the same characters. I had the impression that the story was slower at first, but the more the chapters pass, the more the tension goes up and the pace accelerates in the lives of Tora and Nate, with their family and with the other students of high school. Fortunately for them, their group remains united in the face of adversity, just like their couple, despite the events that follow one another.
In general, I do not really like stories with high school students, but I love this series that always has an unpredictable side.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
