Who knew numbers and accounting could be this hot? And as the story turns up the heat, it layers on the sweet. One of the things I love most in a Weston Parker book is how important the family bonds are. In some books, those bonds are made of razor wire, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Others – and the ones I love the best – are like this one, where those bonds are forged of adamantine; tying hearts and souls together in love for lifetimes. Hayden and Mallory strike sparks from each other from the very first moment we see them together. That reaction doesn’t change much throughout the rest of the story, only what they do with it. Add in some scene-stealing family and friends, Booker and Uncle Ace are pretty darned adorable, and this was a book I couldn’t put down until I had finished it. Maybe we’ll be lucky and in the future there’ll be books about his brother or her best friend.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Hayden is a single father who works as a freelance accountant. He doesn’t have time for dating believing he’s happy with the way things are. When his brother sets him up on blind date with Mallory things don’t go well. Days later when Mallory is told she needs to have someone look at the company books because of in discrepancies, she is shocked when Hayden walks in. This was a great read. Hayden and Mallory were good together and had great chemistry. The story was well written and had drama, misunderstandings, emotions, twists, sweetness and sexy scenes. Highly recommend.

GREAT READ!
A sweet read with an edge that latches on to your heartstrings taking them on a ride of engrossing twists that at times is hard to put down. Yummy hot chemistry. Enjoyable, fun, exciting, intense, edgy, angst, and heartwarming. An amazing must read.
Just in time for Valentines Day! Hayden is a financial advisor who is constantly set up on dates by his brother. Mallory owns her business and doesn’t have time for dates. Wouldn’t you know it the one time she goes out it would be with Hayden and things don’t go as planned and she walks out. But fate has something else in store for these two because Mallory is in need of a financial advisor to look over her accounts and guess who was nominated for the job. Will This be game set match for these two or the beginning of a war? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Hayden is a single father who works as a freelance accountant. His brother is forever trying to set him up on dates, but Hayden believes he’s happy just as he is. His brother sets him (unbeknownst to Hayden) will a client from his gym. They do not hit it off at all. Imagine both of their surprise, when Hayden is called in to discover what’s wrong with her books. There are misunderstandings, hot steamy moments, and ultimately an HEA that is deserved by both of these characters. Great Story!
