This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Jaime Russell; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

The story starts with Joy preparing on her wedding day to her beau since high school who stands her up and never shows at the church. She deserved better and she stops believing for awhile because she felt everybody left her. She finds better at the celebration of her birthday when she finds Ryan. Joy had good people in her life in her beloved aunt who raised her when her mother left and her bestie. But Ryan is the cherry on the cake. Such a lovely story about how roses can grow from the poop life can throw at you.

I thought this was a super little love story. I thought these two were just great characters and loved how they came back together. This was a good enjoyable read it is part of a series but can easily be read on its own.
Love is in the air! Joy meets Ryan in Philly where she currently lives and they really enjoy themselves, but separate without exchanging phone numbers. He is setting up another tattoo shop there and looking for places. She gets a message that her great aunt that raised her is in the hospital after a fall with hip replacement. She moves back home to take care of her aunt’s flower business and after several weeks of missing her neighbor meets him. She has already hired his little sister to assist her in the flower shop. They both show up for a speed date and can’t believe they are in the same town and next door neighbors. Their story is touching and leaves you wanting to read more stories by this author.

It was good to read how she moved on from heartbreak. She had support and friends that encouraged her to move forward. She also met someone that was actually worthy of her time. He just loved her the way she should have been.
