Note from author, Joanne Dannon – The Bachelor Down Under series are redemption romances with some swearing; and these books deal with such issues as fidelity and drug/alcohol abuse. However, these are still romances and features two broken people helping each other to be whole again.

ONE AMAZING READ!!!
Wow! Talk about spinning. This is such a thrilling rollercoaster ride with a plethora of emotions to sort through as you follow along to see what happens next. You’re not going to believe how this little treasure plays out. I have to say this is one interesting tale. One exciting steady paced, smooth flowing, page turning bombshell that grabs your attention and holds steady from start to finish. The characters are realistic, well developed and believable with just enough flaws to relate. Their personalities are unique with qualities and traits that balance out perfectly. The scenes are so graphic and descriptive it paints a fantastic backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. The twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few glitches, bumps and bruises bring this bad boy roaring to life brilliantly. Throw in all the drama and fear, along with uncertainty and you have yourself one amazing plot. Joanna did a remarkable job bringing this read together beautifully. Thanks Joanne for sharing this awesome read with us.
Book two in the Bachelor Down Under series a well written story that I was not putting down until I had finished reading. This is Project Manager Felix Randall and Barista, chef, and aspiring author, Charlotte Glass who have known each other since High School. These two have things in their pasts that if they are to have a chance to be together they have to let go of. I enjoyed reading their story. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
In a real world, real people struggle with the mores of the day whether it be alcohol, drugs or bed-hopping, and so much more besides. The pressures on upwardly mobile young people are enormous, as is brought out by this book. Both Felix and Charlotte have turned their lives around, but undoing the damage caused by their choices takes a little longer. Meeting at the wedding of Felix’s brother and his ex-fiancé, Felix is feeling vulnerable when he sees Charlotte once again. He remembers her as a teenager and is surprised at how attractive she has become. However, in keeping with his promises to himself, he waits before making a serious move on her. Charlotte has dealt with her own issues in a different way but is nevertheless wary of Felix because of the precedent set by past sins. Two damaged people find in each other a sounding board and a place of renewed hope. In the process they discover love but the question they have to answer is whether love is enough to take the next step forward. In many ways, this is a sad story, but one that spells out hope for those struggling to overcome their past mistakes. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
I know Joanne did not intend to write Felix’s story, so when she wrote Falling for the Best Man she made him pretty awful – awful enough that it was hard to believe that Kaylah could have thought marrying Felix was a good idea, even despite her desperate desire for family. Felix turned out to be a very popular character, however, and suddenly Joanne had readers (including this one) begging for his story. Oops!
Thus, a story of redemption. Felix has plenty of past sins, many of which we weren’t even aware, and finding his perfect match takes some doing. Charlotte is a great heroine, I adored her – she’s strong, self-sufficient, faithful, loving, and anxious to stand on her own two feet after half a lifetime of being bossed by her three brothers. Felix may be an alpha-type man, but Charlotte’s got backbone and isn’t having any of his overbearing ways. That, to me, made the book super. In fact, Charlotte just may be my favorite of all Joanne’s characters. The road to true love is not smooth, but with honesty and hard work, Felix and Charlotte will have a wonderful life. I did think the constant emphasis on Felix’s new lifestyle got a bit tedious at times, and I wondered that he still drank at all, but these are small things. I can’t wait for the next book – yes, with that one stand-alone story, Joanne accidentally kicked off a new series! – that will focus on Charlotte’s big brother, Elijah. I was given an advance copy of this lovely book in return for my honest review.
4.5 stars for this strong tale of redemption
I really enjoyed reading the progressing romance between Charlotte Glass and Felix Randall. It is refreshing to read about a woman who is in her thirties not a wide eyed twenty something. Felix is realistic in how he is handling his life and I admired what he went through to maintain it. At the beginning of the book, I felt bad for both Charlotte and Felix. Charlotte lost her mother and then her father abandoned her and her brothers. It had to hurt that one was not wanted. It was easy to identify with Charlotte and her overprotective brothers, they can be a real pain. It was sad that Charlotte wanted to be a published author and her brothers treated her writing as a hobby. That can be discouraging. Felix had his own dark clouds overhead. His ex-fiancé dumped him and left him for his younger brother. He is mature enough to realize that what they had was not true love. He is just embarrassed from the humiliation of it all. He is also trying to get his life on track after having seriously derailed it. He is an inspiration to keep trying to improve. He also has to move past his playboy persona because he wants to be taken seriously. The romance between Charlotte and Felix is heartwarming as they had to handle the light and darkness of their lives. An excellent read. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked parts of the story but I really did not like learning about Felix Randall’s past. I also did not care for some of the language. I did like that this lets the reader know what happened to Felix after his fiancee married his brother. I also liked the message that no matter what ones past is they can change. It may take people awhile to accept that they have changed. I received an advance book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
This one is a winner. Felix and Charlotte are well-written and both are wonderful characters. Both have a dark history, but with love these two will overcome the past. Unfortunately, the author doesn’t understand a true woman of faith, and although Charlotte believed. She didn’t live her faith, and pursuing someone who doesn’t have faith usually ends up with the person of faith leaving the church. Although this didn’t happen, I didn’t see Felix making a relationship with God either.
A story of redemption. Felix has done many shameful things in his past now he wants to find someone to love and love him back. He meets Charlotte at his brothers wedding and the start sharing their sordid pasts. Even after all of that they still go on seeing each other until Felix makes a huge decision and Charlottes reaction is not what he expected. But love is forgiving. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.
Great story! Felix was living the good life with the wrong type of people. Drugs, alcohol & one-night stands he doesn’t remember. His world crashes down when his fiancee dumps him for his best friend the day before their wedding day.
Felix spots Charlotte at his ex-fiancee & best friend’s wedding. Felix has a bad reputation because of his playboy antics & Charlotte wants nothing to do with him. When they open up to each other of their deep dark secrets, they realize they are more alike & not so different as originally thought.
A heart-warming romance where Felix & Charlotte work on putting the past behind them & start with a clean slate. Well-worth reading this novel.
I volunteered to read this ARC & leave an honest review.

A lovely romance with sassy vibes, a few belly laughs and some sexy moments. It’s terrific to read a romance set in Australia, and there are some great local vibes without being too specific or alienating any particular reader group. Joanne Dannon is a talented writer with a great style, and I’m really pleased she decided to write this story!
A Review of Falling for Miss Write by Joanne Dannon
Felix and Charlotte – 5 Stars
If you’ve read Jonah’s story, then you know who Felix is and what a douche he was at the time he was engaged to Kaylah. This is a wonderful story of redemption, showing that it takes the right person for some people to make the positive changes in their lives that they need to make. I actually liked Felix in this book.

4.5
I enjoyed this story. Felix and Charlotte have known each other most of their lives but have never been very close. They meet again just as Felix is turning his life around and discovering who he truly is.
This is a good stories of discovering who you are and to never judge someone else, especially if you do not know them well, they may surprise you!
It’s been a long road for Felix.
He was dumped by his fiancée Kaylah for his brother Jonah.
He spiraled down.
But now, with Charlotte, will he finally get the girl?
Charlotte is his opposite, works in a cafe and wants to be a writer.
Felix just makes assumptions with out communicating or asking.
Will these two figure it out or go their separate ways?
What a read. I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.
“Falling for Miss Write” by Joanne Dannon
I loved this well written story with believable characters that you will truly want to live up to their potentials. I always seem to forget that all stories do not take place in my corner of the world.. it is good for me to expand my horizons !! I think you will enjoy your time in Melbourne, Australia.. I know I am looking forward to my next adventure ‘down under’ !!
I am lucky to be on the authors “ARC readers list”. Thus I get to let you know to be watching for this book which is due to launch February 18, 2019.
Falling for Miss Write is Joanne Dannon’s latest book. While it can be read as a stand-alone, it actually continues the storyline in Falling for the Best Man. This time, we find out what happens to Felix – the one left behind. It’s definitely “grittier” than her other books, but it handles emotional issues such as addiction very delicately. This book is another winner from one of my favorite authors! It’s a quick read that will make you want to get to that HEA for Charlotte and Felix!
I would give it more than a mere five stars if possible. Joanne Dannon is an awesome author. You can rest assured that you will enjoy her writing if you like a realistic romance story. Felix is a complex man a true alpha. He makes a decision based on what he thinks is best and always feels he is correct in his assumptions. Charlotte is someone he has known since high school but he has never really seen her until now. She has three brothers that have always been very protective and somewhat bossy, especially her oldest brother. She is tired of others making decisions for and about her life. Felix is much like her brothers. Charlotte wants to live her life the way she chooses, even if she makes mistakes. To paraphrase the author, to try and change Felix would be like trying to change the tide. They both needed to trust more and help each other heal to find their happy ever after. Hope you read Falling For Miss Write by Joanne Dannon. I highly recommend it.
