A war between Vampires is looming. The future of Vamp and humankind rests on my teenage shoulders. And I still need to get a good score on my SATs.My guardians have done their best to keep me hidden until I grew strong enough to defeat the New Leaders. The same leaders that destroyed our kingdom and imprisoned my father. It is nearly time for me to reclaim the throne and set my father free so he … nearly time for me to reclaim the throne and set my father free so he can rule once again.
But now there is another claim to the throne. A prince who hid himself in shadows for centuries. A prince who let me think he supported me.
A prince who let me believe that he loved me.
That betrayal cuts the deepest. We are connected by blood, so I am constantly aware of Maxim, the so-called Rogue Prince. I know he has not yet revealed my location or sent for the New Leaders. I know I am safe from the ultimate betrayal.
But for how long?

And the adventures continue. This gorgeous vampire and her two loves, Dylan and Maxim. What will happen when Sophie turns eighteen? Will she fight the war alone? Where is the next book pleeeeease?? Fabulous story. Love this series.
Sophie’s story continues and the emotional drama, intrigue and intensity increase. Sophie’s evolution has been compelling and now the underlying conflict begins to move to the forefront. Torn between what she needs to do, fears about what’s at stake and a storm of emotions, you can feel for Sophie. I really like this series and can’t wait for book four.
Book three is when the real vampire adventure starts! In book one we get to know the characters, in book two we get to know the Princess and her powers, but in book three (this one) we get to see the sides build, the war begin and a little more intrigue.
I cannot put these books down and am loving everything. I like the dynamics between the characters, their development and growth. I enjoy the dialogue and how the story is coming together.
I cannot wit for book four! I need to know what happens next. A great YA romance with the perfect balance of action and love. I received an ARC via Booksprout and I am leaving an honest review.
Book Review
Title: Rogue Prince (Vampire Princess #3)
Author: Cameron Drake
Genre: YA/Paranormal/Romance
Rating: *****
Review: The opening to Rogue Prince was interesting after the cliffhanger at the end of Royally Cursed but the stakes are getting higher for Sasha and she must put her heart aside in order to do what is right for her people, and the people she cares about. With a bond with both Dylan and Maxim, she can hear their thoughts and feel their emotions and she is especially conflicted over Maxim’s return given the revelations in Royally Cursed. Sasha also has gained the ability to give other people gifts or bring out gifts they already have, we see this when she gives Caleb the gift of darkness and brings out Dylan’s gifts which are also developing at a rapid pace.
When Sasha learns she is going to spend some time with other vampires and try and convert them to her cause she is nervous as she has lived most of her life in the human world rather than as a vampire Princess. When she arrives at the Cotswolds family estate, she immediately senses something is off, and Maxim confirms this when he mentions that the Cotswolds currently play for both sides of the war and Sasha is a prize to be won. However, she holds her own against the ancient vampires even during a hunt and surprises them with the ability to control her thirst and not have to drink blood often to survive. Despite this the excitement ramps up when Phoebe tries to kill Sasha and she is forced to reveal that she is part angel as well as part human and part vampire, which has made her a real target but won her a new bodyguard.
When she manages to turn the vampire to her cause, Maxim is impressed with her and the tension between them seems to be lessening but with her, Maxim and Dylan all connected any form of privacy is hard to come by. Things are just getting more difficult for Sasha as the time for war is getting closer, her feelings for both Maxim and Dylan are interfering in everything and the ex-cheerleader from school who has it out for her just happens to be a werewolf, who bite is poisonous to vampires. Despite all this Sasha is seeming like she is moving towards a romance with Maxim purely because Maxim unlike Dylan can endure the oncoming war as he has enhanced abilities with the advantage of supernatural healing which Dylan doesn’t have. It seems like Sasha is keeping Dylan at a distance to keep him safe which leaves an opening for Maxim.
Together Maxim teaches Sasha about feeding outside the supervision of Caleb and Bernard and they have a real heart to heart about the relationship they share and the relationship they share with Dylan and what it means with the oncoming war. However, the best scene by far was Sasha drinking from Christopher; a young man who has a heart defect who Sasha heals with her blood and sets everything up to take care of him in the future which was beautiful to watch, and I can’t wait to see where that goes. The ending of Rogue Prince was brilliant and really showed off what this series could do, and I honestly can’t wait to read book 4 as soon as I can.
Rogue Prince by Cameron Drake is book 3 in the vampire Princess series. It’s a young adult series, with stand-alone books but it’s best to read them in order so you get the full picture. This book delves into intrigue, and war.

I’m loving this series, and wow, it’s definitely been action-packed, and impossible to put down. I originally thought this was a trilogy, but it turns out there’s another book in this series, so heads up on that, but I’m also really excited because it means I get to see this cast and story at least one more time! I’m so happy I found this series, and can’t get enough of these characters and with a war brewing I’m looking forward to one more epic act in this series!
Sophie has been preparing to take the throne, but were her efforts enough? With more training, surprises, and nasty betrayal to look forward to, will she ever be enough?

A fantastic third book in this series that will keep you on the edge of your seats, Sophia realises she has to be & act like the princess she was born to be . She needs as many allies as she can gather to free her father & reclaim his throne , only it turns out she’s not the only one with a claim to the throne & when this Rogue Prince shows his hand there is a massive shock wave that leaves Sophia shaken & full of doubts , the only things she is sure of is freeing her father & protecting her loved ones at all costs . W e finally get more PNR in this book than the first two in this series , when Sophia becomes Sasha who apart from her friends will stand by her , i’m not even sure the rogue prince knows for definite what role hes choosing , looking forward to book four.
Wow! Fantastic Vampire Adventure Continues!
This is the third book and it’s even better than the first two. The wonderful characters keep developing more powers as the story unfolds. The suspense continues to grow with some very interesting twists. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Enjoy!
