A fantastic final chapter to Virgina and Tristan’s story. Tristan and Virginia are finally getting married but there are some unresolved issues in Tristan’s past that he needs to work through before that happens. With Love… and Reality TV is a clean Christian romance filled with forgiveness, healing, witty banter, laughter, and love. Readers will fall in love with the characters of With Love… and Reality TV. I absolutely loved this trilogy. I can’t wait to see if Sam gets her own story.

Sweetwater Island Ferry Trilogy:
For Love … and Donuts #1 – I read the second book first and I enjoyed this one more. The well thought out storylines just felt similar to slipping on a pair of comfy, cozy slippers and sharing a cup of tea. I liked the characters; they were so realistic and human, and worked so well together: Virginia , Tristan and Sam were perfect. Of course, the story needed Jason for to all end well. I found the cottage and the island to be important characters in their own right. This fast flowing, easy to read story was entertaining and enjoyable. I loved that the author gave enough details without doing the daily, boring grind some authors do; writing about every unimportant detail instead of letting time past and writing about the important parts. An enjoyable, clean, happy read. I contacted the author to review her books and received this through Booksprout. 4*
To Love … and Renovate #2 – This story takes place six months after Donuts ends. I didn’t get to read the first book of this series, which I think would have made this book more meaningful to me. Well written and easy to read with likable characters and a plot full of happenings. Of course, there’s wedding details still to be completed, working at their jobs and trying to wait for the wedding night, why wouldn’t there be drama? But there was fun and laughter, too. A good balance throughout the book. I liked Virginia’s calm approach to the wedding preparations. Oh, don’t forget the elephant in the pink tutu – the renovations. I appreciate this being a clean story, which only needed minor editing. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 4* Update: I reread this after reading Donuts and I liked the story better. I recommend these three in order written since they are about Virginia, Tristan and Sam.
With Love … and Reality TV #3 – This story takes place four months after Renovate ends. I don’t really care too much for Hollywood and TV, but this was a local station with a surprise character and a surprise deal. An entertaining, sweet read with plenty of romance and problems for everybody. The storylines were interesting; the characters multi-faceted and there’s plenty of emotions running the gamut. I just wish Ms. Mayes would edit her books, the errors do distract from the story. 4*
Sweetwater Island Ferry Trilogy end.
Unexpected Events – This is a quickly read, sweet romance between old friends. The characters are believable without any stupid dialog or actions. The storyline is interesting. A nice story for relaxing with a cuppa. I contacted the author to review her books and received this through Booksprout. 4*

I was so enthralled as I turned each and every page of this well written storyline and characters that were so well detailed that as I turned the pages I felt like the characters jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!

The third book in the series we follow Tristan and Virginia into the first few months of their married life. The perfect life of working together soon shows a few cracks. Being together all the time and expecting more and more of each other makes life difficult.
Then they get the offer to be the front of a new TV reality show, that concentrates on renovating old houses on Sweetwater Island. On the side there is more from Virginia’s sister and her complicated love life….
Entertaining and sometimes inspirational, it is a good read, fairly realistic when it comes to relationships.

This is the third installment in Virginia and Tristan’s romance on Sweetwater Island. It’s starts four months after their wedding and it’s isn’t all sunshine and roses in paradise with them. They are getting in petty fights all the time about work. Virginia’s ex Jason used her to pay all his bills and take care of him. He works at TV station and he’s sold them on a home improvement show and he wants Virginia and Tristan on it to make up for his past selfishness. Her sister Sam is secretly dating their coworker Ross, but she still thinks about Tristan’s brother Adam. She likes and dislikes qualities in both men. Virginia would prefer she dated Adam, but she also bickers all the time with Ross. Sam and Ross have strong forceful personalities so she wonders if she would be better with someone easier going like Adam. There is the potential of another book in the series with the next chapter in Samantha’s life, which is up in the air at the end of the book.

The Love Stories Continue
In this final episode, the plot addresses trying to get your love interest to change according to your desires.
One of the main characters has spent her young life trying to change men into what she wants them to be. She finally understands that the only change comes from within and it is rarely an about-face. While this is a great ending to the trilogy, I would not be surprised to see more episodes or a spin-off series. This is a sweet and clean series with no faith elements at all. I received this book for free and this is my honest review.

I totally enjoyed this continuation of the Tristan and Virginia’s story. I am also looking forward to seeing where things go with Adam and Sam, and Ross and Alison. I honestly was hoping for some reason that the author would have put Jason and Sam together it would have been strange, but an interesting twist to the story.
Looking forward to more books in this series.

A romance with a little intrigue and some awesome twists! It’s not always easy to pray or listen to our hearts. Sometimes we make decisions because we don’t want to admit our faults and work on them. Some of the twists in this book are unexpected and heartwarming! A great read with very believable characters. Can’t wait for the next in the series!

just when these two newlyweds decide they might want to work together less in order to let their relationship breathe and grow, a call from someone from their pasts sets something different in motion.
Jason knew Virginia was a happily married woman – to someone else now, and opportunity he himself had missed out on by taking her for granted and taking advantage of her generosity.
His new attitude, job and outlook on life put him in an unique new position where he gets an idea, that could also be something exciting for Virginia and her new husband Tristan.
Love and reality tv – they so very much need spiritual guidance, and a how to book for their marriage and extended friends and family – along with guides for the lives of those folks near and dear to them.
Sweet and faith involved relationship with heart and thought.
