This book is 3rd in the Blinded Love Series. Recommended to read series from the beginning.Stevie Colvin’s rules are simple. Don’t bother to learn anyone’s names. (Why bother if they won’t be around tomorrow?) Keep things light and fun.Be an equal opportunist to all sexes. And no one becomes long term. No relationships and none of those pesky things like feelings can enter. Especially with a sexy … like feelings can enter. Especially with a sexy supercross rider, who is as much a player as she is.
From the moment she met Christopher Singer, he seemed to get under her skin like no one else could and made her feel things she hadn’t in a long time. Something she will not allow. Only one person has gotten past Stevie’s layers. But even Jaymerson doesn’t know the full truth about the darkness and demons which haunt Stevie’s past…the ones she has pushed far down. She wants to ignore every detail of the devastating loss and horrifying night that almost took her life.
When an incident brings Stevie and Chris back together in the same town, their past and present crash into a struggle of grief and horrendous tragedy.
Stevie needs to decide: handle the pain and break every rule she has, which might shatter her for good or choose to protect herself and run from it all…
There is sexual content and some trigger-sensitive topics.

I knew going in that this was going to be all kinds of intense and angsty because this is Stevie we are talking about and that girl doesn’t know how not to go big in one way or another…but man the emotional roller coaster this one took me on?? It…I got all teary eyed and sniffly…that doesn’t happen often, it doesn’t. But this book pulled all those pesky feels right out of me and must admit (grudgingly, though honestly) that I loved every second of it!
Stevie is a force of nature and I adored her. She may have a ton of demons riding her and does everything in her power to keep her heart on lock down, which at times causes her to lash out, but she cares deeply about those she calls her own and shows it through her actions. I loved Chris, I wanted to reach out and Gibbs smack him a few times, especially in the beginning, but I ended up loving and adoring the man he truly was. Snarky, loving (even when he’s being an asshat – though I totally got why) and simply a good man with a good heart.
To say Chris and Stevie’s journey was explosive is an understatement. Any time these two were in the same vicinity things got intense and it just showed how well matched they were for each other. While their interactions did sway to the more antagonistic end of the spectrum on the regular, it only served to make the sweet moments that much more meaningful. They saw the good, the bad and the ugly in each other and connected on a level neither could have ever imagined.
I was so happy when it was announced that Stevie was going to get her HEA, because if anyone deserved one it was her, and I wasn’t disappointed in anyway with how her, and Chris’s, journey unfolded. It was filled with frustrating moments and heart breaking ones, but watching as these two worked to battle their demons and come out stronger for it was sooo worth it in the end. Now, there are issues that will be triggers for some, but they are handled very well and only add depth to their story. And as for the supporting cast of characters, I loved catching up with Hunter and Jaymerson and seeing where they were at in their relationship and Grandma Penny was, as always awesome! (I still want to be her when I grow up). I loved Doug, Tristan, Andy and Maxine, but I’m curious with all that is going on with Jones and am hoping that he’ll get some HEA love at some point down the road.
Note: While Twisted Love can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend that you read the first two books in the series, Shattered Love & Broken Love, to truly understand all the connections and emotions between the characters you’ll meet.

Ok so I just finished Twisted Love by Stacey Marie Brown and I am completely wrecked. I sat in the corner of the couch with my face peering over the top of my kindle pretending the reason my eyes were wet was due to the dog fur allergies. Yeah… #imnotcryingyourecrying! Stevie has more layers than a seven layer dip at a superbowl party! Who knew how much of a badass she truly is! This book is deeeeep!!! I’m talking intense! I started the book thinking I was going to read a few chapters and the next thing I knew it was 7am the next day and the book was done! It was amazing! I am seriously vibing on Megan and Jones though, guys. Something there? Maybe. Hope so. I really need more from this. Time will tell…Give us desperate beggars a hint!! lol Anyway, definitely worth picking up. 5 stars and 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!!
Finally, FINALLY I got my Stevie’s book and it was what I hoped plus so much more. I knew that Stevie hid her demons well but I wasn’t sure how far they have chased her until now.
Twisted Love is incredibly written; Stacey has truly outdone herself with this book.
4.5 stars This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster ride! I loved Stevie’s and Chris’ story and this is a book that I would definitely read again. Stevie has always been an interesting character to me and I am happy that the author dedicated an entire book to her. She is a likable, complex character and I adored Chris. There were times that I felt that my heart was being ripped out of my chest as they had experienced so many devastating things in their lives . These things affected how they both approached relationships – both with friends and with romance. I found myself laughing at some of their banter one minute to ugly crying the next.
Their relationship is complex and the chemistry between them is palpable. I enjoyed watching how Stevie and Chris both evolved as a couple and as characters. There were parts of the book where I wanted to talk some sense into Stevie as she made some bad decisions and I felt she was behaving selfishly. Yet those decisions fit with her character so I can’t really complain too much. I also liked the appearances from, Hunter, Jayme, Jones, and Doug. Twisted Love put me through all the feels – laughter and tears, heartbreak and love, and hope. This book moved at a good pace, has well-developed likable characters, and has a HEA with no cliffhanger. I would love for the author to write a story about Megan and Jones next. I received this book for free and I voluntarily leave this review.
Truly Amazing!
Stevie’s book was just as breathtaking and sob inducing as the first two books.
This story was heartbreaking but you can’t help but root for Stevie and Chris, and that they have their happiness in the end.
The journey this book takes you on is twisted as the title says. The emotional baggage they both hold onto is traumatic and you really feel all the angst and emotions as they try hard not to admit their true feelings for each other.
As with the other two books you don’t see the twists coming and it’s not predictable in any way.
We get see the whole gang again and a couple of new characters are introduced that are fun and really add to overall story.
If you haven’t read the first two books I would recommend you do before reading this. The whole series is truly amazing.
You won’t be disappointed.
I love, love, love this book, and this series sooo much and I’m going to miss those characters. I’ve been waiting for Stevie and Chris story, and I’m not one bit disappointed. Beautiful, heartbreaking, engrossing, full of angst – just perfect for me!
OK … I don’t know what I was expecting with Stevie’s story, but I was just as obliterated like when I read Jaymerson and Hunter’s story. I kind of went into this was no sight of what was to come. To be honest, I needed a little refresher of who Stevie was, but Stacey definitely does a great job summing that up as you’re reading.
What a read this turned out to be, so heartbreaking and just painful. But there’s also hope, love and second chances. Stacey will give you a run for your money with her contemporary reads. It was her PNR series that had me falling in love with her work, but her ability to write solid contemporaries is what truly sealed the deal.
I don’t even know where to start off with Stevie and Chris’s story. There’s definitely sooooo much history between them, truths that were never said and just hope for a second chance. It won’t be easy for them to get there because they have plenty they need to work through and my goodness, it’ll pull on your heart and just make you cry like a baby.
But before they can get their happy ever after, they have their own personal demons to work through. What Stevie endured is something I can’t even imagine, it’s heavy, unjust and it’ll bring you right to the front of her reality that she’s been facing since that day. You’ll see the growth in her character and she begins to build the strength to get past that horrible day.
Chris is a broken hero with so much uncertainty of his future. He’s definitely taking every day one at a time and quickly losing himself and soon to lose those that love him the most if he doesn’t start changing his ways. The only person that seems to get through to him is Stevie even if it is the fact that she has to constantly force herself into his space.
These two are explosive together, there’s no denying the strong chemistry that flows between them, but the fear of something more permanent and everlasting terrifies them. It’s not something that they know nor understand.
Witnessing them both get over so many personal hurdles was just absolutely liberating. And it was something that I was craving for because I wanted them to get their happy ever after with no bars between them.
Stacey weaved a powerful and emotional love story that I’ll never forget. You’ll get more than you bargained for, but it’s worth it. Such a great read, exactly what I expected and more from Stacey.

Let me start off by saying that I was literally jumping when I found out that Stevie was going to get her own book and we were going to find out what her story was because she intrigued me so much in Broken Love. I knew, just knew that I needed to read her story because her sketchiness and her shadiness at times in Broken Love had picked my interest to know what was going on with her.
This book was full of highs and lows that had me either smiling or scowling. I couldn’t seem to have one or the other long enough to realize that I was flipping back and forth with my faces.
I loved Stevie so much. I loved her strength, her determination and her ability to push herself. Yeah we got a lot of moments where I just wanted to flip my finger at my kindle but that wasn’t going to get me anywhere, but we also got moments where I was fist pumping the air.
I’m not saying much more other than you have to read this book. You will fall in love with Stevie from the moment you start on page 1 all the way to the end. I absolutely love this series and I honestly thought my favorite was going to be Jaymerson, but I think I’ve switched it up and now have to bump Stevie up above Jaymerson. This girl, man she really stole my heart with everything and anything that was thrown at me in this book.
Gotta read the whole series to understand the supporting characters in the book and to get a better feel of Stevie as well.
Stevie Colvin has been one my favorite characters in the trilogy and I had high expectations which were more than exceeded!!! The growth of her character was great to see and the fact that Ms. Brown ripped out my heart, stomped on it and set it on fire more than once was amazing. This book is a roller coaster ride; I laughed, cried and at times wanted to knock a couple of characters heads together.
I highly recommend this book but you do need to read Shattered Love and Broken Love before picking up this one!
This book was amazing as were the other two books in the series. My heart is full of twisted love for this book. The writing is fantastic, the character development is spot on, and the relationship emotions pulls at the heart strings. There is so more depth to Stevie than we realized. I’m so happy we got Stevie’s book. I don’t think I’ve cried so much over so many chapters.
Twisted Love is full of angst and heart wrenching scenes but filled with hope at the same time. It’s dark but uplifting. I was so frustrated with Stevie’s need to run but rooted badly for her to prevail.
This was a fabulous read – although – I will say, you probably need to read the first two to FULLY appreciate Stevie’s story. Believe me though, it isn’t a hardship because all three books are fabulously written and the stories are amazing! SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS BOOK AND SERIES!
I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the author. This review MAY contain spoilers.
If you thought that Jaymerson’s story wrecked you and knocked you to the ground, then prepare yourself to be obliterated and buried in rubble. Stevie’s story will pull your heart from your chest and leave you in an emotional stupor.
I love that this book picks up where the second book of the series left off but from Stevie’s POV instead of Jaymerson’s. I had honestly expected the story to backtrack to parts of the series we had already experienced through Jaymerson’s eyes. We do get to see some past events through Stevie’s flashbacks, which I preferred. I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t thrilled to get more of Jaymerson and Hunter and their friends. I would totally support more stories about this group of friends. I would love books dedicated to Jones/Megan, Doug, and Krista/Jason. These characters really grow in your heart and will leave you wanting more of them.
Stevie’s character growth in this book was amazing. Her journey is powerful, heart-rending, and by the end of the story very uplifting. She has experienced horrors and heartache in her past and her personality was shaped by these events. She is running from her demons and it is starting to affect her life like she never thought it could. It forces her to accept her feelings and stop running from things she has no control over. Realizing and accepting that she is in love with Chris and that he feels the same for her is a jumping-off point for her to start healing from her past and open back up. Chris’s journey was also heartbreaking. He also experienced horrors and pain in his past and when this book starts out he is dealing with some of that all on his own. A chance meeting with Stevie brings them back together and they both start coming to terms with some of the heavy stuff.
I loved the friendships that are shown in the book. The meaning of true friendship is shown through many of the characters. We also get to meet Stevie’s New York friends and see how she comes to realize their importance to her and she uncovers the layers of her past and opens up. Friendship is a common theme through this book and I loved exploring it through each of the characters.
I loved the romance in this book. First of all, seeing Hunter and Jayme in a happy place was incredible. I would give almost anything to read a story about them five years down the road. Seeing them and their friend group starting families and their lives falling into place would be the best. I loved the chemistry between Stevie and Chris. It is said in the book that they have both met their match in the other, and it’s so true! They are so alike and they deal with their issues in much the same manner as the other. They are perfect for each other and it definitely shows in the writing. I was thrilled with their ending in this book. My heart soared.
The plot in this part of the series is less intense than the previous books but no less impactful. Things mostly take place in a short span of a few weeks, but this is plenty of time to tell Stevie and Chris’s story. Things fall into place really well and the story never feels rushed or lacking. I love that the author can express so much and show so much in such a short amount of time for the characters.
Overall, I couldn’t be more impressed with Stevie’s story! I had such high expectations and I was not disappointed at all. I am wishing on every star that Stacey Marie Brown chooses to write more books in this series. I am besotted with these characters and I can’t get enough of them! I would cherish more books from other character POVs and even books set in the future with these characters. If you are searching for a meaningful, well written, expertly plotted, and altogether incredible series then you should pick this one up! I can’t give this series enough praise!
I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and I am a huge fan of the male main character in books 1&2 – so book 3 which focuses on the secondary characters was a huge surprise for me. I LOVE this book. I absolutely devoured this story, Stevie is an amazing character and this story is so well told, I laughed, I cried (ok I sobbed), I yelled and I cursed. That’s a LOT of emotions for one book.
If you haven’t read the first two books, you need too. They’re really good books too but Stevie….yeah, you need to be ready for Stevie…read this.
Tarzan and Gypsy! Two of my favorite characters ever. I know what to expect when I read a story from this terrific author…heartbreaking, tear jerking, gut wrenching and so much emotion I want to crack and I’m not one to crack. This one got me in so many different ways. The realism of a young girl on the cusp of womanhood with the last of her innocence ripped away in a horrible way and the devastating aftermath is beautifully written. What a survivor Stevie is. I loved her. I especially liked that we got a woman who didn’t shy away from her sexuality or hide it. And who doesn’t love a hunky Aussie superstar athlete? Chris is divine! His backstory was heartbreaking too. These two had been through so much when tragedy strikes again just when they are figuring things out. Ugh! Sometimes life sucks. Even though I knew how it would ultimately turn out my heart was still twisting with every moment of emotion and turmoil. This author really puts you through the wringer with her emotionally charged stories but they are ones you will never forget. There are lots of secondary characters to keep up with but the feeling of family and great friendship is superb. One of the best relationships is the love between Stevie and Jayme. Girl power! And the hotness between Chris and Stevie is panty melting! Plus we get the Jayme and Hunter show too. These couple are beyond wonderful and sexy. Simply marvelous! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
