They are idols to millions worldwide. I hear their names whispered in the hallways and blasted through the radio. Their faces are never far from the television screen, tormenting me with images of what I gave up.To everyone else, they’re unattainable rockstars, the music gods who make up The Sound of Us. But to me? They’ll always be the boys I lost.I broke all our hearts when I refused to follow … refused to follow them to L.A., convinced I would only bring them down. Years later, after I’ve succumbed to a monster, and my life has become something out of a nightmare, they are back.
I’m no longer the girl they left behind. But what if I’ve become the woman they can’t forget?

I am a big fan of this author’s writing and this book does not disappoint. What does it take to remember how things used to be, to get back to a place where you loved each other and start again? Absolutely beautiful, haunting writing. I loved this book and book 2. Anxiously waiting for book 3 which should be coming out shortly.
What a ride this book is. We get this whole then and now thing going on where the story unfolds in small bursts that keep you questioning wondering what happens plus what will. There is some dark stuff going on during both that will have rooting for things to go ally go her way though I think we need more books for that. All of this leads to the lovely cliff hanger that will make you wish book two was out now. In depth characters in a rockstar world. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Man draw me in just to leave me hanging. Still the book is totally worth reading. I feel for Ari so much. Life keeps having obstacle after obstacle thrown her way. I really hope she is able to come out stronger in the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. The characters are wonderfully written.
Though I’m not a fan of RV books, I was surprised to read this book and realize that the story gripped me. One could feel true love and friendship among Ariana and the boys. They live without the pressure of society till reality reaches her. Leaving the story at a cliffhanger only makes us want to read the other books.
This is the first Rockstar Romance that I have read and let me tell you, I am hooked! I love this book, it is amazing! The storyline takes you between the past and the present and forces out all your emotions! The Characters are terrific. They are all “broken” but together all their pieces fit! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!
Contemporary Romance. Second Chance. Rh. 3 Rock stars. A Past Present Dialogue. Ari finds her self in a going no where abusive marriage after abandoning her true loves. So when her husband goes out of town on a trip and her loves coming in for a tour, she has to go. This was an emotional roller coaster. Ups and downs with a lovely cliffhanger. Read it! Read it now. You totally need this story in your life. You won’t be disappointed I’m sure.
What can I say? C.R Jane pulls it out of the bag again! Beautiful story, wonderful characters. There’s angst, romance, heat, heartache. I adored this story!
In a way, RUTW is more like Jesse’s and Ari’s relationship than Tanner and Jensen as according to the acknowledgements. Throughout the book, we get snippets of Ari before the guys and after the guys’ success and we also have the in between of Ari losing her way by marrying, gasp, an abusive Gentry.
After reading this, many of us are left with so many questions that will hopefully get answered in book 2, so I highly recommend reading this book.
I don’t even have words to describe how spectacular this book is. There are so many emotions running through each character and throughout this start to their story. This broke my heart and then started to put it back together again but that ending nearly did me in. I have read, I do believe all of C.R.’s books that are out so far, and I have loved all of them. But this one the story line and the characters resonate with me especially some of the emotional stuff going on in the story. This is just the beginning of what I am sure is going to an epic series and I for one can not wait to read more of their story. Not only their present but their past and why Ari and the guys feel the way they do and act the way they do. I really need to know more and can’t wait for book 2 to continue and find out where they are going to go from here. Well written, amazing characters and a fantastic story line and it is definitely my new favorite from C.R. Jane!
