This is a dramatic and romantic story. Tanner and Livvy end up being stranded together, and after the rescue Livvy learns that he’s a billionaire, she’s no charity case so she sneaks away from him. She takes a job from his sister, who lives next door to him, and when Tanner finds out he’ll do to get her.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
Bluebonnets and Billionaires Series:
Next Door to the Billionaire #2 – We’re still in San Antonio, a wonderful character on its own. The same characters from the first book Dating the Billionaire’s Granddaughter are still with us. The romantic couple is just as fun and entertaining as DTBG.
Again, the storylines weave with the characters into a good paced, entertaining, clean story that makes it hard to put the book down. It would be so easy to give a book report on these two lovely books, but I don’t want to rob you of a good stories that make you laugh, and feel good when you finish the books. I contacted the author to review her books and received this book through Booksprout. 5*
Dating the Billionaire’s Granddaughter #1 – I love this author’s work (AKA Pamela Humphrey) and this series is another reading treat from one of my favorite authors. Set in San Antonio, (yes, a very important character, to me) this well written, sweet romance is so easy to get immersed in and the pages fly by too quickly.
The storylines are interesting and the characters add to the weave of the story. Most are likable, actually Grandpa is OK, he’s just not reasonable. Good mechanics are worth their weight in gold. Ms. C does a wonderful job with her descriptions, leaving the reader with clear pictures upon which to build upon in their imaginations. I was lucky enough to have the second book of this series, so it was a fun, entertaining chain read. I contacted the author to review her books. 5*
Bluebonnets and Billionaires Series end.
A nice story about two people on opposite ends of the financial spectrum. I like how Olivia never got upset at the interfering ex-fiancee. No sex or foul language. Strong characters. Happily ever after. Worth adding to your list.
A pleasant book to read before bed. Boy gets girl without much drama.
“Next Door to the Billionaire” (nook) is a light-hearted romance with a HEA. I found the story comforting because the characters were kind and loving people. We need to hear more of that.
Cute story…she is struggling as a waitress to get thru school when he shows up at Her diner. She recognizes him from when she was a child and crashed her bike. He helped her and fixed her bike. He doesn’t remember her as she is grownup. He is engaged strictly for Business reasons per his grandfathers wishes. He stands to inherit the business from him. Overtime he realizes that he is attracted to the waitress. At one point she overhears his financee with another man and she accidentally leaves her ring on the table. The waitress follows him to a cabin to return the ring and tell him he is being cheated on but a tornado strikes and they get stuck there. Nice, easy read. No sex for those who like that
Loved him. Not sure about her. She started out good. Then lost her back bone. My favorite part with her in it was the cabin. And that’s in the beginning. After that. Not sure why there was a book. Bunch of build up. Not much conflict. And the proposal, so not them. But it still was entertaining. And had a happy ending.
Great clean story!!
Great read.
Cute! Sweet story and likeable characters.
A wonderful story, romantic without being vulgar, funny to the point I would laugh out loud.Remi Carrington is now my favorite author. I have read all in this series and have enjoyed each one.
