Sometimes you can’t get by on charm alone. Prince Henry is used to fielding the pitfalls of fame, even when he has to dodge threats on his life. With the political climate growing dangerously volatile, everyone he comes near is suspect for trying to take down the throne. When Henry stumbles upon a woman who makes him view the world in a whole new light, he knows he can’t ignore the tug Ella has … can’t ignore the tug Ella has on his heart.
When Ella finally helps Henry see that the kingdom might be headed in the wrong direction, political rivals begin to attack. Caught between his desire to be a good leader and his need for more of her, Henry must decide if the path he’s chosen will lead to a stronger future, or if following his heart will be the ruin of a kingdom.

This was a stunning masterpiece. It was a wonderfully written story. I could not stop reading it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
I enjoyed this version of Cinderella. The romance between Ella and Henry was sweet. The world is imaginative and the characters are great. I like the crossover with the other fairytales and I hope Red and Rafe get a story soon.

The Cursed Beauty series of books is outstanding and Beauty’s Cursed Prince is a fantastic addition. I loved Henry, you finally get to see his depth and delve under the facade that he shows the world and I fell even more in love with him. The politics are still at play with the Baron scheming and plotting and looking out for his own interests as always. The dialogue is witty, the romance is heartwarming and the plot flows well and captivated me from start to finish.

Prince Henry was worrying himself sick at the recent marriage of his best friend, Rory, and a Lethal who, if he failed to take his pill to nullify his magic, could end up electrocuting her with a touch! He called her a dozen times a day to see she was still safe until her husband set him straight. Now once a day he calls, but still worries. Even the King of Avondale, his father, couldn’t calm him down.
As guests for arriving for an official dinner, Henry heard a car backfire in the long driveway. He went over to see if he could help and was surprised when a young blonde woman exited the driver’s side and went to fix the carburetor! It surprised him even more when she didn’t get all a-flutter at seeing the handsome Prince was standing beside her, as females usually did. As they walked to his 16-car garage to get a toolbox, the two bantered back and forth. She was thoroughly delightful and he looked for an excuse to continue “helping” her.
Henry came back out to sit in the car with the lovely blonde, who still wouldn’t tell him her name, and handed her fruit and yogurt to eat while they talked. He felt free to be honest, he trusted her not to take his words to the tabloids. He asked her how she felt about the Lethals and she responded that you can’t choose the Pulse nature grants you — everyone has to learn to be responsible with their gifts. She suggested that he clarify why they don’t want to spend tax dollars on making the Pill more pleasant so that the magic isn’t muted, because people needed to know if that was just a nice-to-have feature or critical. She had a good head on her shoulders and made sense. And he became more and more fond of her.
When Ella learned of a plot by the Baron to use Lethals to kill off certain council members – so he could insert his own favorites – she had to get the information to the Prince. He met her at a bistro near the shop where she overheard the Baron’s plans. She told him everything and he called his guard to take precautions to protect the intended targets. The political situation was becoming dangerous and this was just another sign of it. But again, Ella talked to him and gave her opinions intelligently, and he trusted her. She made his worries less of a burden. He respects her and she is strong enough to deal with a Prince with confidence. Could he ever win her heart, and she win his?
I loved the humor throughout the book! Henry was such a wonderful person, funny and caring to everyone, that he quickly became my favorite. The dialog was also perfection! I found myself constantly chuckling through each page, and I couldn’t stop smiling! Ella was an incredible partner and let her father’s wise words guide her into being the woman she was. This is truly a fun book with a great story line, perfect pacing, and awesome characters! You absolutely will not want to miss this one!

It took me some time to finally buckle down and read this book. I understand the title after reading the book but I would think our Ella would believe she was the cursed.
I have to say the modern touches added to the fairytale. I really loved the story and all the magical Pulses in the world. This story pulled at my heartstrings and made me cheer Ella and even Prince Henry. He wanted to be an alpha and take care of her but knew he had to let her do things at her pace, in her time, and in her way. Because she was and is her own person who needs freedom.
Made me love fairytales again. My favorite…the Lupines. But not Red and Rafe. To leave them and punish all because of one or a few. She was their voice. Ugh. But now they have Ella.
Such wonderful diverse characters. Loved it.
I recently read this wonderful book. I went into it worried about a retelling of my favorite story. I even named my daughter ella! Once I started I couldn’t put it down! I needed to know how things would change without remembering I was ever worried to begin with. I was not disappointed and of course Mary worked her amazing magic with how much a person can fall in love with characters. Yo have so much of the Prince and his side of the story made me love it more!
