Noah Baker is a self-professed serial dater. Okay, the entire town of Mercy is aware. However, one night he meets Valerie and she could care less about his charm, good looks and overall being. Will Noah rise to the challenge? Will he mess it up? Get to know your friendly neighborhood bartender in this short story today, the first in the Neighborhood Series.
When a complete playboy gets played……
Noah is the owner/bartender at The Neighborhood bar in the small town he grew up in. He inherited the bar from his dad and he has had an easy life of no commitments. This guy doesn’t even run the bar and instead hired a bar manager just so he could be a bartender. Noah has a “reputation” that is ingrained with everyone, men and women, that he is a “hit and duck” man. He hits it and then he ducks out the door as fast as he can. He thinks he ensures that all the women know his no promises policy but that does not stop them from getting mad at him about not calling them, as if they can change him by spending one night together.
Tarrah is new to town after moving from “the city”. One night she is at Noah’s bar and he turns on his smile and charm but she is not having any of it, as she is out with her girlfriends. She comes back another night and the same thing happens…………..until the one night she gets drunk after celebrating with friends about her new job. Noah drives Tarrah and her friend home and she invites him in. But instead of hitting it and ducking out he just leaves, of course after some heavy kissing, as he does not want to take advantage of her drunkenness. This is a first for Noah and he is having of bit of an existential moment as not only is Tarrah a challenge to him but she has also brought up some of this icky “feelings” for her and dare say it so respect of her. So much respect that this playboy ends up taking Tarrah on an actual date, with dinner out and everything. A complete first for him!!!
Your Neighborhood Bartender is a fun and engaging quick read. It is not heavy on plot or a ton of character history, except for a bit on Noah, but it fits with the story. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading the second in The Neighborhood series.

Quick, entertaining and sexy read. Noah, the town playboy can’t believe he’s rejected by the gorgeous new girl in town. It’s a first for him. The more he interacts with her, the more he wants to get to know her. He’s never dated, so it’s new territory for him. He reaches out to google for help. A fun, humorous read.

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. Welcome to the small town of Mercy, it has a great community
Bar called The Neighborhood. Noah inherited the place when his Dad passed away six years ago. He is the fulltime bartender which is the position he loves. There is a new girl in town, her name is Valerie. She comes into The Neighborhood and captures Noah’s attention. Noah is the town playboy and has the reputation to support this. Valerie is forewarned by her new friends and coworkers but she is just as drawn to Noah as he is to her. This is a really fun, fast paced story that brings our small town playboy off the market.

A quick and fun book about a bartender/ bar owner who is all hookup and leave until he meets her. The one woman who seems to not want anything to do with him. Challenge accepted. Noah knows Valerie is different. Read and see how this self proclaimed man whore changes his ways. A perfect afternoon read

Love this sweet story of a reformed playboy. When Noah met Valerie the sparks flew. And so did the wagging tongues of their small town. What do you do when life trips you up? Find out how a tiger did change his spots!

Your Neighborhood Bartender by Tarrah Anders. The chemistry between the main characters is wonderful. I found this short story to be very enjoyable with a good mix of drama, strong characters and of course HEAs. Looking forward to more from this author and series. You don’t know what you’re missing until she walks in…
Noah is quite the character… never spending more than one night with anyone. That is until the new girl walks in. Noah doesn’t know what hit him and it’s amusing to watch (or read) how he learns what goes next. Thank heavens for google?

What do you do when the girl you are interested in doesn’t want anything to do with a one-night-stands-only playboy like yourself? Well, you keep trying. And when you get her, you make sure you don’t mess it up.
I loved how the author told the story from the Hero’s point of view. This is s sweet, short, humorous and intriguing story.

This my 1st time reading this Author, book was very good. Noah was arrogant & full of himself but sometimes you have to be. Being the way he is got him a run for his money with a female. It was a very good book on to the next.

Valerie, the new girl in town isn’t charmed by the playboy bartender, Noah.
This blows his mind because he doesn’t lack confidence or ego. She’s been warned about the untamable man but that magnetic pull is unmistakable and very powerful.
He screws up big time and has a lot to learn that you can’t learn from Google. Valerie is the perfect teacher for him.
This is a story about an adult man growing up and seeing that having one special lady is a lot better another notch on your bed post.

Oh, Noah. What does one do when he’s a well-known manwhore, yet he meets the woman who could change all of that? He screws it up, that’s what he does. From the first rejection in Noah’s recent (and maybe not-so-recent) memory to slowly learning how to change, this was a fast, funny, entertaining story. I only wish that we’d gotten inside Valerie’s head also, but Noah’s was a funny enough place to live for a short time.
Tarrah Anders never fails to disappoint and Your Neighborhood Bartender is another notch on her belt for a captivating read. Noah is a man who never goes back for seconds but when he is presented with a challenge, Valerie might just be worth all the effort he has never put in before. This is a short, steamy ready, with plenty of flirting, entertaining moments and characters that you will totally fall in love with.
Loved this beginning of a new series!! Tarrah does a great job of pulling you in quickly and keeping you there until the end! The cocky bartender that finally meets his match! Seeing him changing his ways was fun and there is no better person for him than Valerie. Can’t wait for the rest of the series!!
