Activities That Increase Bonds
There ’ s a batch to see and experience in yakuza : Like a Dragon, and fortunately, about everything can be done either in a group or with person at Ichiban ’ mho english. We have listed all the shared activities we ’ ve found so far below :
- Battles: After Bonds become available, all fights will grant five experience points each time to all party members.
- Karaoke: Singing songs at Survive Bar grants points towards the group’s bonds, but it depends on the track – Ichiban’s song affects everyone, while individual songs may affect one or two characters at a time.
- Dining: There’s several spots where you and the group can rest for a while and enjoy some katsu curry. These opportunities are great for bonding – choosing the right menu combinations will open up a Table Talk sequence, in which certain characters will talk about something in particular and gain more Bond points. Lastly, the entire party will also recover HP and MP when you do this, so it’s definitely one of the best ways to cover as much ground as possible with only a couple thousand yen.
- Party Chat: As the group is roaming around town, certain locations will trigger Party Chats, which are short dialogues between the characters. Always play these out and just walk around until they finish so they are not interrupted. Triggering a battle will skip them, but actions like Treasure Hunt in vending machines won’t. If anything, you can return to the starting place and trigger them again, and you can listen to all of them again by choosing “Tell a Story” to the bartender in Survive Bar.
- Seagull Cinema: Ichiban can invite a party member to the movie theater. Doing so will always give a number of Bond points, which vary depending on how much they’ve liked the movie.
- Cabarets: Another way to increase the Bound Gauge with male characters is by taking them to the nearest cabaret. The women of the group will remain inactive until the activity is over, however. There’s a 3,000 yen entry fee per person, with additional costs when you request a hostess, as well as food and drinks. Although they have a steep cost, these are really short activities that grant a lot of Bond points. In addition, all party members (both active and inactive) will fully recover HP and MP.
- Gifts: If you’ve been investing time into Gardening, it’s likely that you’ll have enough ingredients to craft gifts. These also provide Bond points, and can be given to eligible party members in Survive Bar.
