Motherhood is hard! Mamas desperately need biblical encouragement, but their time is limited. This devotional was born out of that dilemma.Allow Katie LaPierre, senior pastor’s wife and a homeschooling mother of seven, to share with you the truth that keeps her going when she experiences despair and exhaustion. Inside, you’ll be encouraged to:
Focus on eternal purposes during the temporal and … to:
- Focus on eternal purposes during the temporal and mundane
- Avoid a life of hypocrisy with your children
- Find joy caring for your husband and your home
Each devotion includes an idea, question, or suggestion for your accompanying journal entry. This will allow you to:
- Record practical steps
- Apply what you’re reading
- Look back on your thoughts for years to come
Wherever you are in your mothering journey, you can become better equipped for the wonderful ministry God has given you!
What other mothers and authors are saying:
- “What Katie LaPierre has given to you is a gift of love. We all need others who are traveling the same road and understand the joys and the trials. As you read Eternally Minded Mamas, you’ll be empowered to face your challenges with courage as you focus first on the word of God and take up your sword of faith for your highest calling – motherhood.”—Jacqueline Franks: Founder of Deep Roots at Home
- “In this beautiful gem of a mother’s devotional you will find encouragement to press onward in the mothering journey for the glory of God. You will be reminded that Biblical, fruitful mothering is only possible when our weakness is exchanged for His strength. I could relate to Katie’s honesty in sharing the struggles of motherhood and felt inspired by the hope she offers, rooted strongly in the Word of God and gospel truth. This book is a beautiful reminder that all the effort and sacrifices are worth it in light of eternity!”—Ruth Adams: Author of Legacy: Reflections of a Homeschooled Homeschooling Mama and host of the Legacy Homeschool Reflections Podcast

I really enjoyed this devotional for moms. I found it very easy to relate to and encouraging. The devotions each day are quick but yet very meaningful. I appreciated the space to journal right in the book.

This is a good accent to have for mothers to help them with daily devotions and a journal to write things down to come back to later to for a reference.
This book will help you get through the difficult periods you may have when you become a mother and now to deal with any issues that come up. It will help children grow up with good standards

I’m not a mother, but we have seven children and I see how hard my wife, Katie LaPierre works day-in-and-day-out to take care of them, me, and our home. She is a tremendous wife and mother, and I’m blessed that other women can benefit from her wisdom. The reviews we’ve heard from the devotional have been great so far.
The Eternally Minded Mama devotional is a refreshing perspective of how to keep Christ-centered in the day to day tasks of mothering; not only one of the highest callings but also most challenging! Katie gives insightful perspectives and real life examples to engage the reader in how she herself employs the principals in her day to day life. This devotional could be used for busy mom’s who want to take a few minutes to start their day off with their eyes on Christ, those who got busy and need a perception reset, or those who rushed from task to task and fall into bed and needing that encouragement at the end of their day. Either way, this books is designed to encourage the busy mom through the challenges of parenting, and formatted in such a way that it can be done every day regardless of time constraints.

I found this devotional to be helpful when dealing with various situations and my day in general. I enjoy my time with God and it helped me to feel less stress and let God have control.
This is a wonderful devotional for mothers who want to keep their children in focus and grow closer to our Lord. This devotional is designed for use over a month and I found great joy in using this. Even though my children are older, I’m sure grandchildren will be in my future and children are so wonderful and such a blessing, this book is so helpful in supporting the prayers and spiritual life of a loving mother.
