Amy Andrews turns up the heat in her smuttiest little book to-date!OwenI’ve had a crush on Stefanie, my best friend’s older sister, since I was fifteen. As a geeky gamer with a bad case of acne, she was totally out of my league. But I’m all grown up now, with a medical degree and an in-depth knowledge of female anatomy I’m not afraid to use. When we cross paths again I finally get my chance to … finally get my chance to live out a few teenage fantasies and prove I can be her guy. I just have to convince Stef to take a chance.
Stefanie
As a resident nurse,I’ve had enough of arrogant doctors to last me a lifetime. I’m not looking for another. I’m especially not looking to hook up with my kid brother’s bestie—ten years my junior—even if he has morphed into a walking, talking, wet dream. If only he wasn’t sleeping in my spare bed for three weeks and making it very clear he wants to be in my bed instead. Not going to happen. I don’t do casual anymore. No matter how much I want to open my legs for the DILF.

This was one of the hottest reads I have read in awhile and I read a lot. This story centers around Owen and Stefanie. Stefanie is Owen’s best friends older sister.
I liked the character of Stefanie. She seemed like a really down to earth woman who knew her place. She had moved on to being ready to settle down and starting a family. While she could appreciate an attractive doctor, she had no interest in starting anything with one.
I absolutely adored Owen in this book. He was the perfect combination of being that geeky boy that Stefanie remembers and being all man. The things that came out of this mans mouth took even my breath away. Stefanie didn’t stand a chance. To me there is a fine line between been self assured and cocky. Owen knew where that line was for the most part stayed on the one side. He had a crush on Stefanie when he was a boy but now that he was all man, he was ready to prove it to her.
Reading about these two circling each other was fun to read.
Nurse Stefanie Leonard couldn’t help but notice the sudden commotion that erupted in the hospital. The emergency was the appearance of the hot new doctor in the house. By the name of Owen Chandler. The D.I.L.F.? Stefanie’s younger brother’s best friend? Since when has the pimply nerd become cause for the young nurses to be all aflutter? One look at Owen answers Stefanie’s question: he is seriously hot! Stefanie immediately realises how much trouble she’s going to be in since she agreed – sight unseen – that Owen could stay in her flat for the three weeks before his apartment becomes available.
Well, Amy Andrews wasn’t kidding when she said that THE D.I.L.F. was going to be “her smuttiest book to date”! Given the limiting confines of a novella, Ms. Andrews still gives us fully-fleshed out characters, with just enough conflict and sexy times to make the whole thing gel. Owen – sigh! – had a crush on Stefanie when he was fifteen, and even though ten years have passed, it has not ebbed. But Stefanie is ten years older, and if doesn’t bother Owen, it does bother her. It is why Stefanie resists, but the age difference does not create unpleasant issues, but temporary bumps. Amy Andrews does not do unpleasant, she does fun, sexy, and enjoyable, and she succeeds again with THE D.I.L.F.
I was thrilled that Amy Andrews chose to write an older woman-younger man romance; I feel it is a neglected trope, and like everything she writes, Ms. Andrews succeeded in giving us a super sexy romance with two very appealing characters. Written in dual first person POVs, THE D.I.L.F. is fast paced, bursting with sexual tension, with plenty of naughty banter, and some lovely tender moments. And I bet you will never think of “hot yoga” the same way ever again.
Dr Owen Chandler has a sassy mouth and he’s not afraid to use it for a lot more than flirting. In this roommates to lovers story, Owen has a short window of opportunity to get the girl he’s always wanted, and he’s prepared to fight very dirty to do it. Nurse Stefanie has been badly burned in a past relationship with a doctor, and she tries to protect her heart, but she doesn’t stand a chance against Owen’s persuasive and sexy tactics. (The guy has some seriously panty-melting moves – I don’t blame Stef for not being able to hold out!)
Two small things stopped this being a 5-star read for me (and usually I absolutely LOVE Amy Andrews’ writing):
1. It’s written from the first-person perspective. This definitely contributes to the fast pacing but it feels a bit bare. However, even if you’re not a fan of 1st person, I still recommend the story.
2. Spoiler alert

The whole story takes place in three weeks, from meeting to marriage proposal. For most of the book, Stef has some justified concerns about the risks of a workplace relationship given she’s been badly burned in the past, and she’s also very unsure about the 10-yr age gap between her and Owen, since she’s ready to start a family and he’s just starting his demanding medical career. However, all her concerns are resolved after a quick chat with her brother. I know it’s too much to expect much personal development from characters in a romance novel, but my eyes rolled pretty hard at this point of the story.
Overall, this is a quick, light-hearted, sexy read. If you like your romances explicit, I highly recommend it for both the steamy writing and charismatic hero and heroine. Owen and Stefanie make playing doctors and nurses look like a lot of fun.
WOW!! If you are looking for a hot fun read this is it. Could not put down and read in one sitting.
I received an advanced copy of this book and i am voluntarily leaving a review
This was a good, quick read. The writing flowed well, but there’s not a whole to the story. Owen is staying with Stefanie, his best friend’s sister, until his apartment is ready. After that, it’s pretty much all sexy times. Not that I’m complaining 😉 this is just not an in depth read. Over all, I liked it, and I would read this author again.

Wow, on a scale 1-10, this was a 20. All the build up with these two, was hot enough, but once they finally give in…just hot, hot, hot af hot. Owen was her brothers bestie and had a crush on her at age 15, she was 25 then, obviously nothing happened and they never dated or anything. Fast forward 10 years and he is the new DILF at work, that translation is Doctors I’d Like to F@&$…..I think you see where I am going with this. He is the geeky kid that grew up to be the sinful DILF at the hospital she works at. The really fun kicker is, he is staying with her until his apartment is ready….whew baby, that is when the build up sexy shenanigans start. These two *shakes head*. He is so confident and determined, he wants her and has always wanted her. He knows she’s the one and he is very blunt and persistent at getting what he wants…in the best possible ways. It’s not long into their sexy shenanigans that she finally breaks down and gives into what they both want…hell it’s what I wanted too *wags eyebrows*.
This was a safe read, nobody after they meet again, it’s just them. There was a 10 year separation, but that’s because of the age difference and they never actually dated previously. No om or ow drama, she does a little pushing away because she is older, wants a family now and had been hurt by her previous doctor boyfriend, but that guy cheated so he doesn’t count in Sue’s world. There was about a five second separation, but she came to her senses at lightning speed. Dirty-talking-confident-alpha with his little spirtfire woman. The heat level, like I said is crazy hot, you all better have a fan handy or you know…sit on an air conditioner. Oh and yoga never sounded so good…just sayin. This book was also so damn funny. I wanted to shout out at Amy Andrews for all her uses of funny af sayings and words, examples: fuck-a-doodle-do and adorkable were my two favorites. There was sexy shenanigans, role playing, baby batter, an epilogue and a sexy af hea. This was my first book by this author, but definitely won’t be my last, I loved it. Another author to stalk…you are welcome.
I liked this maybe because she is ten years older than the hero, age is just a number sometimes and it was good to read about this relationship it was smoking hot and a great read
Loved this so much!
This short book was so funny there were times that I was crying laughing and couldn’t even see my kindle.
Owen has had a crush on his best friend’s older sister for 10 years. YEARS!! But he’s not the video game playing nerd anymore. Now he’s the hottest doctor in the hospital. The DILF. And even Stefani can’t be immune to that.
This book is hysterical but it’s also super hot. I loved these two so much. The chemistry was explosive and with every interaction I believed more and more that they were made for each other. I read this novella so fast that I wanted to start all over again just so I wouldn’t have to leave the characters.
*This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*
Smoking hot! And oh so funny. Low angst, page turner that gave me a shot of a fave authors style that I really needed!
You do not see a lot of romances with an older woman and a younger man. Liked that the had the connection through her brother but it wasn’t a trope of unrequited love on her part.
A quick read that I read in one day and will reread often. ALL THE STARS!!
The D.I.L.F. by Amy Andrews was my first book by this author and one steamy and sexy older woman/younger man story! Owen has crushed on his best friend’s older sister, Stefanie, since he was a teenager. But as a nerdy gamer and the age difference, there was so chance. Now Owen is an older and sexy doctor who somehow ends up in in Stefanie’s guest room.
Stefanie and Owen had insane chemistry, which sucked for Stefanie, since she was determined to avoid all doctors. Owen, on the other hand, has other ideas, but can he convince her even with all the obstacles in her head? This was a quick story that was so freaking steamy and full of great banter.

Happy reading!
Panty Melting Goodness! Another fantastic, sassy, laugh out loud, sexy, panty melting goodness from Amy Andrews. I love her books they never fail to entertain and entice this reader. This was short, sweet and had plenty of Heat!
Stefanie Leonard has had it with doctors, after being burned by a rat fink M.D. She is a nurse at St. Bart’s, and today is new Doctor day, with all the new intern doctors starting. Every year it starts with the sexiest of them all, being labeled as the D.I.L.F. And today isn’t any different then the past years. All the nurses are gaga over one. Tall, dark and handsome but in a geeky way doctor with glasses and floppy hair. It isn’t until she hears the Doctors name that she can’t believe her ears.
Owen Chandler is her brother’s best friend. The last time she saw him was ten years ago at their lake house, when he was fifteen. But it can’t possibly be the same guy? He was all gangly and nerdy. Of course her brother did call her up last week asking if he could crash at her place for three weeks, until his apartment became available. Stefanie can’t believe the transformation. Owen is everything that a D.I.L.F. should be. But that’s okay because she needs a real man who wants to get serious, married and have babies. Not a young man who is in the prime of his sexual exploration life.
But what she doesn’t know is that Owen has had a thing for curvy redheads since he went to his friends lake house ten years ago. And she is the one that he wants and he isn’t giving up without a fight. A dirty, sexy, fight, that is. She doesn’t stand a Chance. Their chemistry is explosive and the scenes are Hot, Hot, Hot! Get Ready to burn your fingers when you turn these pages. Loved every moment. You need this one!!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Oh hello you gorgeous DILF!! Gah this is so steamy and hot that it blows Grey’s anatomy out of way.
Stephanie agrees to let her brother’s best friend say with her while his new place is being set up. She’s expecting the nerd she seen many years before. She is not expecting the hotttt doctor who shows up at her door.
Owen has wanted Stephanie since he first seen her, ten years ago. He is a huge flirt and tries his best to get her to let him in.
Storage closet?! Yes please! Stephanie is a dirty girl when she finally let’s loose and caves to Owens demands.
The whole dynamic is what draws you in the story. The characters keep you hooked and leave you wanting more.
Delightfully H-O-T! By far the steamiest Amy Andrews book I’ve ever read, and simply yummy! Fast paced, really fun characters and lots of steam. There’s not a huge plot behind their fun in the sack, but if you’re simply looking for a quick dash of steamy lust with a guaranteed happily ever after, you’re going to love this book!
Stefanie Leonard doesn’t know what she was thinking when she let her kid brother talk her into letting his BFF stay in her spare room for a few weeks. He’s a newly minted doctor at the hospital where she works as a nurse, and after a bad experience with one arrogant doctor ex, she’s looking to steer clear of the species all together on a personal level. Too bad he’s turned into such a hottie and he’s all she can think about!
Owen Chandler might be a decade younger than Stef, but he’s been secretly in love with her since the summer he met her as a teen. This is the only opportunity he’s ever going to get to make her see him as something other than her little bro’s friend, so he’s not going to waste a minute of the time he’s been blessed with. Mega flirting and turning on the sex appeal, here I come!
This book is hot, hot and more hot and it is a fabulous story a beautiful romance, I loved it from start to finish, I was reading it while waiting in a very hot car for my granddaughter to get out of school and the temperature just kept going up and up, I do highly recommend this book if you like your stories spicy.
Owen has had a crush on his best friend’s older sister Stefanie since he was fifteen, and now he is coming to work at the hospital that she works at and staying at her place for three weeks, can he convince Stefanie in these three weeks that they should be together, the chemistry between them is electrical.
Stefanie is over doctors having been hurt badly by her last boyfriend so when Owen arrives and the nursing staff are going off tap about the new doctor she has no intention of getting any closer than flat mate for a few weeks, but keeping control of her desires for Owen is getting harder and harder and when she gives in wow, but it is still hard to overcome the ten year age difference.
Amy Andrews is a fabulous writer and story teller, this one is so good, yes it is smutty and erotic but the emotions and feelings are so easy to feel, I loved Owen and Stefanie and their steamy journey to a beautiful HEA left me sighing, be warned it is sensual and steamy I would suggest you keep a fan and some ice-water close, but if erotic is your thing then this book is a must read.
