This book is a delightful and incredible, sweet read. It was wonderful written. I enjoyed the storyline. The characters Laurel and Jack are wonderful. It was easy to read and a page turner.
I received a complimentary ARC from the publisher through NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are of my own.
A very heart-warming and touching story. Laurel and Zach desperately want children. They have tried everything, but have been unable to conceive. They fostered a little boy and after becoming very attached, his father decided that he would not give him up for adoption. Laurel’s grandmother is starting to have memory problems and needs a care taker. When Mrs. Miracle shows up on their doorstep, just when they need her, their lives change. They do need a miracle and Mrs. Miracle is very happy to help.
The beloved Mrs. Miracle is back for another wonderful Christmas story. I always look forward to Debbie Macomber’s Christmas books. A Mrs. Miracle Christmas did not disappoint.
Once again Mrs. Miracle arrives just when she is needed to help a family through a difficult time. Laurel McCullough is a first grade teacher. She loves her students, but longs for a child of her own. Laurel and Zach have been dealt one disappointment after another. It begins to look like they will never be blessed with a baby.
When Laurel’s beloved Nana begins to have memory problems and difficulties living alone, they move into her home to help her. After Nana becomes lost in her own neighborhood, Laurel realizes that they can’t do it alone. Laurel contacts Caring Angels, a home care agency, for help. They have no available caregivers.
Laurel does not know what to do. She can’t take time away from her students. If she can just make it until the Christmas vacation, she will have two weeks to find help.
Then Mrs. Miracle shows up at the door saying that she is a “caring angel”. Laurel doesn’t understand because she was told that the agency had no caregivers available, but Mrs. Miracle has an answer for every question.
Mrs. Miracle takes control of the situation and Laurel begins to believe that she really is a miracle.
Ms. Macomber has a way of writing that really touches the reader’s heart. I definitely recommend A Mrs. Miracle Christmas and all of her previous Christmas books. They will definitely put you in the Christmas Spirit.
I received an ARC from NetGalley and the author in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts are my own.
A particularly touching Mrs Miracle story. Filled with both joy and sadness.
Had me crying and left me filled with happiness and a feeling of true Christmas. These stories may seem lightweight on the surface but they are not that at all. They contain warmth and a depth that can be felt while reading.
I’m a fan.
I loved this book! It was inspirational and left me with a such a good feeling. Laurel and Zach want a baby, but it looks like this is not to be. Laurel can’t take any more disappoints and has closed off that part of her heart. In addition to this heart ache, her beloved grandmother is starting to need more help and appears to have some dementia. In steps Mrs. Miracle. She weaves peace and love and memories into all she does. Both for Laurel and for her grandmother.
This book leaves you with such a wonderful, warm fuzzy feeling. I loved it and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good Hallmark moment.
Thanks to NetGalley for giving me this opportunity to read and offer my honest opinion on this book.
This book is just what the soul needs in a Christmas book. It is clean and sweet and full of goodness…and angels! You can never miss with a Debbie Macomber book. Her characters always overcome an obstacle set before them and find love and contentment along the way.
The story of A Mrs. Miracle Christmas doesn’t have a couple falling in love with each other, but fighting to keep that love strong. Laurel and Zack have been dealing with infertility for years and after having to return a baby they were hoping to adopt, Laurel has decided she can’t take anymore. Zack is still hoping a baby will be found for them and he’s been getting weird “signs” that that may just be the case.
Mrs. Miracle returns as Laurel’s grandmother’s caretaker and she’s up to her old mysterious ways again. Will her angelic ways help bring Laurel and Zack a baby or is she just a bit wacky like Zack thinks?
I was given a complimentary copy of this book via NetGalley. All thoughts are my own.

Debbie Macomber has done it again, and you don’t want to miss this feel good read, we really need to have one of these once in a while, and this doesn’t disappoint.
We are reunited with characters that we fell in love with in past books, and they will delight you here also.
This one is bound to give you warm fuzzy feelings along with a few tears!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Ballantine, and was not required to give a positive review.
What an incredible story!
If I could give this book 10 star, I would. When I started this book, I figured I would read a few chapters and stretch it through the next couple days. That did not happen. I ended up reading it in less than 5 hours. I could not put it down. This story brought tears to my eyes right from the beginning. I don’t think I had even hit page 2 yet and already my eyes were watering, and by the end of the book, I had went through a half of box of tissues. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book that has affected me like this.
Laurel and Zach have had trouble conceiving a child. Nothing they have tried has worked for them and the one time they fostered a little boy in the hopes of adopting, it didn’t turn out like they had hoped it would. It has left them hurt and frustrated with no faith in sight. When Laurel’s grandmother who they live with is diagnosed with Dementia and has a few scary episodes, they realize they need someone to stay with her while they are at work. There’s just one problem, there’s no available caregivers at this time. Then like a gift straight from God, Mrs. Miracle shows up at their door.
This was the perfect holiday story. It was an emotionally heartwarming tale about love, faith and never giving up hope. It reminded me that God is watching us, that he does hear our prayers and no matter how bad things get, just keep having faith that they will get better.

“A Mrs. Miracle Christmas” by Debbie Macomber
Oh, my, I just finished reading this story and … well, I loved it. From cover to cover I was captured by the love and faith so evident in the telling of this story. If you get emotionally involved in your reading, you will most assuredly want a stash of tissues close to hand. I do not recall the last time my eyes leaked down my cheeks with such abandon. Yes, I was a watering-pot through and through. I requested and was granted an ARC of this story by the publisher via NetGalley. Thank you very much for the opportunity for this early read and to share my honest review. This is one of Debbie Macomber’s best writing achievements thus far. It truly has something for everyone, if you look for the message. Happy Reading !!
Mrs. Miracle is a Christmas tradition and I was thrilled to get to read this beautiful, miraculous story!
’It was the season, after all, and this year, for sure. The season of miracles.’
Disappointment after disappointment in conceiving or adopting a child has left Laurel with a lack of faith. She’s resigned herself to being childless and thought her husband, Zach, had done the same. With the diminishing health of her Nana also weighing her down, they are thrilled when Mrs. Miracle arrives to help with Nana’s daily care. But when Laurel realizes that Zach hasn’t completely let go of the longing for a child, their marriage ends up on shaky ground.
This was such a heartwarming story. I loved each and every one of these characters as they struggle with their own heart aches, losses, and longings. Laurel was living a life not quite complete and unable to totally let go of the heartache past disappointments had hurled at her. Zach only wanted his wife to find complete happiness in all things and went to extraordinary lengths to make it so. Nana, suffering from dementia, often lost herself in past memories as well as those of her husband who had died years before. And Mrs. Miracle was hope and joy in every word and action.
With so much heartache, this is a rather angsty read, but at the heart of it all is hope and love. Despite this being a relatively fast read, this was such a richly developed story in both characterization and plotline. Of course, we know that there’s going to be a happy ever after, but the getting there was often painful. Even with all that angst, there is plenty of humor and smiles as well as a deep romance that survives the darkest of days.
As always, Mrs. Miracle brings the pure undiluted joy of the holiday season to those around her as well as readers and I loved every moment of the beautiful Christmas story.
Laurel (a schoolteacher) and her husband Zach want to be parents. They’ve had some huge disappointments in the past when they tried to have children. Now Laurel’s grandmother, Helen, needs a caregiver and they hire Mrs. Miracle – an angel.
I enjoyed reading this story about Laurel, Zach, Helen and Mrs. Miracle. The struggles that Zach and Laurel faced were so realistic. Their faith was tested – but they do get a glimpse at happiness when they hire Mrs. Miracle. Mrs. Miracle is wonderful companion for Helen. Helen has not been doing well, so when Mrs. Miracle comes her health gets better, and she works hard to help restore Laurel’s and Zach’s faith.
Both Laurel and Zach experience some strange happenings in this charming Christmas tale. These happenings involve Mrs. Miracle’s angel friends, Shirley and Mercy.
