If ever I was to believe in a cosmic connection, it was the moment I met her.
But business is king and I have an empire to topple. A wall of propriety that keeps me from her. I need her as my pawn in this war, beside me in battle. Sharing the secrets of my enemies, and her desires in my bed. Her body to claim as mine.

Collateral damage is real.

From the first page I was hooked, Lincoln is a sexy CEO but with an attitude that will make anyone turn the other way around, but when he meets Ivy everything just more intense, he makes Ivy’s life worse than she ever imagine, Nothing seems to be nice about her new job and her boss has become the devil itself, until she straightens up and meets him at his level. Lincoln has no idea what is happening until he finds himself torn between revange and love. This book will keep you wrapped until the end, you will be pulled into the story until you are done. A definitely 5 star book you must read.
It was a fun, steamy quick read.
The H was not my favorite but he was hot a total apha male but not always in good ways.
The h is strong, intelligent and not a doormat.
The plot is interesting and you want to know why he wants vengeance so bad.
Wow! I love everything KI Lynn writes. Every. Single. Thing.
This is no different!
Heroine, Ivy, works for a sleaze ball guy… decides to apply for a new position with a competitor!
Hero, Lincoln, bumps into a lady he has instant chemistry with in his office building..
Hmmmmm. Who might ivy be going to work for?
If you are wanting a well written read, with awesome characters, smoking hot, with a phenomenal plot! This is for you !!! Highly recommend. All her work too!

An office romance with lots of angst, drama and some darkness. This was my first book by this author and I’m so glad I read it. A page turner from beginning to end. Secrets, revenge and betrayal.
Ivy and Lincoln have major chemistry from the start, but try to keep their relationship professional at the beginning. Lincoln is out for revenge against Ivy’s former boss and isn’t prepared to lose Ivy when it all comes out. His secrets are dark and gut wrenching and brings big twists to light. A gripping story of revenge and love.
I’m so in love with this book! One of my all time favorite books. This book is everything and more. I was so drawn into this book from the beginning. Beautiful romance full of secrets and betrayal. Revenge can change everything. I love the characters. Lincoln and Ivy are great characters. They have a beautiful and amazing chemistry. A hot office romance that will heat up your Kindle. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!
**4.5 Stars**
The Executive completely sucked me in from the start. I love a good boss/employee romance, and this was that with a bit of a darker twist and an almost enemy to lovers feel to it, all wrapped up into one angsty, drama-filled story.
Lincoln and Ivy’s relationship, both professional and personal, was one constant roller coaster ride of emotion. I enjoyed the back and forth, and push and pull between them. This story is not hearts and roses and unicorns. Lincoln is demanding and condescending and rude, but there is clear chemistry between he and Ivy, and thankfully for him, she felt connected enough to him to want to try and peel back the layers.
The writing in this book flowed well and the story was engaging. I read this book in one sitting and would definitely recommend it.
I seriously have an unhealthy obsession when it comes to an office romance, especially when it involves the boss and his assistant. The Executive was not your normal assistant / boss romance. It was more than that. It was based off of revenge, and grew from there. There were so many emotions flowing through this story, and K.I. LYNN did a great job evoking those feelings into myself. I felt the rage, the chemistry, the aggravation, and the connections in this story. This author also did an amazing job with the flow of this story. Everything went at the pace that it was supposed to, in my opinion. I also felt a bigger pull to this novel because I share some of the same qualities, so it was very easy for me to comprehend what these characters were feeling emotionally and physically. The Executive had me so much, that I finished in one sitting.
Lincoln is his own kind of man. Set out for revenge, he has worked hard to put those plans into motion, and in doing so, made a name for himself as a CEO in a lucrative business. He is rude, condescending, and callous. He carries secrets that no one could fathom.
Ivy is no push over. She has a backbone made of steel and doesn’t fall in line like most women in her position. She is strong and resilient. She works hard, and craves being treated like an actual employee instead of a woman meant to get on her knees.
When circumstances bring Ivy to Lincoln’s place of work, Lincoln has no qualms in making her a pawn in his own game, he just never took the time to think that his heart could also be a pawn in that very same game. The more he learns of Ivy, the more their bond ensues. Will Lincoln do the right thing? Or will the queen lose to the king?
I recommend this book.
I have quickly become a KI Lynn fan, her words keep me intrigued from beginning to end!
The Executive is a hot and steamy office romance but it’s so much more than that. This book has secrets, lies, lust and love. I loved the characters! Lincoln and Ivy have amazing chemistry and there is so much depth to the story. I absolutely love when a book has my mouth hanging open and this story has an amazing twist that will do just that.
“I’m just a lonely asshole sitting on the highest peak looking down at the world.”
“You mend the pieces, put me back together, make me a man again, and you do it effortlessly.”
The Executive really lit my fire!! It’s such a good book, I love a good enemies to lovers/office romance story and KI Lynn exceeded my expectations.
Lincoln and Ivy’s story is the perfection combination of romance, drama, revenge and hotter that hell sex. I loved these two characters as Lincoln was a certified jerk and boss from hell and Ivy was a smart, no nonsense exceptional woman who had no problem putting Lincoln in his place. The Executive’s plot is full of depth, consistent and well written. It’s a definite must read!!
From the moment I met Ivy I was drawn to her. She’s strong willed and not willing to take much crap (from either her prior boss or her current boss). When we officially meet Lincoln we discover that he is an a** with secrets that he keeps close to his heart. I love these two. I especially love the connection that they unknowingly share that most people would never understand. My heart broke for the pain that Lincoln has been going through for years. But my heart broke even more for Ivy. On a side note, I loved Iris (the first time Lincoln meets her is funny) and HATED Dante. Great read from an amazing author. I’m so glad that I got the chance to meet these two. Take a chance on them, you won’t regret it! *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
This book gave me whiplash, but in a good way. Both characters fight their attraction for one another from the second moment they meet. Eventually they give in, but then their world goes to hell in a hand basket. K.I. kept me turning the page to see what was going to happen next!
4.5 Cranky Stars
The Executive is steamy oh so steamy. I’m sure my kindle wanted to smoke a cigarette and have a sandwich. The chemistry between Lincoln and Ivy was off the charts. They gave as good as they took from each other. In the office and in the bedroom. They are a force. A king who wants to rule his empire with a queen at his side.
Ivy worked for the worst boss possible. He sexually harassed her and basically treated her like trash. The final straw came when another employee propositioned her. She set out for an interview with Dante Kilgore’s competitor Lincoln Davenport when she crashes into a man when she comes out the elevator and sparks fly. This is the man she learns she is interviewing with. With the position secured feelings develop but she tries to keep Lincoln at a distance. Finally, walls come down and they crash into each other and fireworks ignite. Little does she know while the feelings between the two are genuine she’s just a pawn in a much bigger game.
Lincoln is ruthless and hates Dante Kilgore with a fiery passion. They have a history that dates to college and Lincolns sister London. When he hires Ivy Prescott on paper, she’s the perfect assistant but she has a link to his enemy. She starts off as collateral damage then becomes someone he wants to protect at all cost even if it means her hating him. She challenges him and doesn’t back down to his demands. Which let’s be honest are very strict. He realizes he wants Ivy to be the queen ruling his empire by his side. He just hopes they don’t crash and burn before they have a chance to really take off.
I like that Ivy and Lincoln had a common thread. I understood the need for revenge but man the damage was brutal. It took me a bit to like Lincoln he is the true definition of alpha male. If that bothers you then maybe this book isn’t for you. Yet Ivy wasn’t a withering flower taking his bull either. She went toe to toe with the beast. This book has so much naughty times but it also has an air of mystery and love sweet love. I was glad I took a chance on this book and glad I got the chance to read it. I love Ivy and Lincoln.
“”You’re an asshole,” I said without thinking. My blood froze for a second as I waited for his response.”
Lincoln Devereux is a self-made millionaire whose past life experiences made him the man that he is. Arrogant. Brooding. Yes, he’s an a$$hole, but a sexy-panty-melting kind of an a$$hole. And he’s on a hunt on how to destroy the person who’s responsible for what happened to a loved one.
“Not only are you the most beautiful thing in this building but one of the most intelligent. A deadly combination for a man like me.”
When Ivy Prescot got the position as an assistant to DCS CEO she didn’t realize how overbearing her new boss is. But what she likes about Lincoln is how focus he is in making his company be on top.
“You told me in my interview you weren’t looking for sex with your assistant.”
Lincoln and Ivy’s working relationship is an ideal one. They bring out the best in each other. She’s the yin to his yang, professionally. But the desire for one another is undeniable. Giving into pent up sexual attraction makes the pages of this book hotter than hell. They work hard but they play harder, so to speak.
Will Lincoln forgo his need for revenge to save the woman he loves or still pursue it no matter who will be hurt in the end?
The Executive is nothing but AMAZING!!! Lincoln seems to met his match in Ivy. The storyline immediately draws me in and that I can’t stop reading it until the wee hours of the night. One of my fastest read, in fact. Unputdownable! The plot, the characters are exceptionally well-written. I greatly enjoyed my time reading Ms. K.I.’s latest book. A must read! So, if you’re in search of a great office romance story, I recommend this one. Happy reading!

Loved this office romance story! Ivy is sassy, takes no crap kinda girl, Lincoln is the CEO all alpha male and a bit of an a$$. The banter back and forth had me laughing, and u could feel the crazy connection they had thru the pages. He’s looking for revenge but he never even dreamed she would be more than a pawn. Absolutely loved these two and this book, couldn’t put it down once I started.
This was a smoking hot office romance with a side of revenge. Lincoln is a hard man to work for. He’s got some serious hate fire in his belly for Ivy’s old boss and he’s super cranky towards Ivy, like all the time. It was cool to see Ivy stand up for herself because it made some great tension and chemistry between them. It was entertaining to see how Ivy and Lincoln were going to work things out. I really enjoyed this their story.
This book pulled me in within pages. I had to put it down a few times due to the emotional roller coaster it had me on… reading it in one sitting was not an option. I’d get made and the next minute I’d be crying.
I was all over the place but my favorite attribute of this story was how strong the Heroine was and how she made her Hero work for her!
Can’t wait to read more work from this author!
Ivy is sick of her boss. The only way to get any recognition is to sleep with him. That’s a big no for her. So she steps out into a new company. We’re the boss is a jerk, not really he is just pushing way. The chemistry between these two was jumping off the page of this book.
The fight that Lincoln has with himself to either keep the revenge that he has worked for a decade, or for what he has with Ivy. Think he tried his best, but I’ll leave the rest for you read to see his decisions.
The book was one those I got lost in. Great read.
