The Road To Where You Are Meant To Be
This is a wonderful addition to the series. The story is as wonderful as the rest of the series. Teenagers finding themselves and parents learning to let their teenagers have the room to make some mistakes. I have enjoyed each episode of this series, especially this one. As the parent of a teenager, I identify with the mother in this story and can relate to the daughter’s issues, too. Great job! I received this book for free and this is my honest review.
The story line of The Trouble with Kissing Frogs kept me interested. I did not like the way Sophia’s mom was portrayed for at least 4/5 of the book. She was one dimensional. Her Christian faith was used to make her seem unapproachable and unreasonable. I stuck it out though and was very pleased to see that she and Christianity were portrayed as loving and approachable in the latter part of the book. God’s name was used inappropriately a few times. The plot had twists and turns and moved at a good pace. The setting was mostly NYC. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.
Sophia has been sheltered and restricted all her life. Being raised by her mother who is very church orientated has been hard on her. When her mom wins the lottery, they move to NYC and Sophia finally has real friends and goes a little wild.
Josiah, aka Joe, is Sophia’s cousin’s best friend who she meet previously for an hour which she felt was the most magical hour of her life. When he shows up at her school, all hell breaks lose.
Follow Sophia on her trek in finding what really matters in this life and what true friends are for.
I loved this book and recommend it to everyone young and old alike.

Kissing frogs.
Sophia kisses Josiah a year ago and have him a fake name. Now he’s back and po’d at her. But they are constantly thrown together.
Is he her prince?
I thought this was a good book but not my cup of tea
The good new about Seven Steps’ The Trouble With Kissing Frogs: A Stand Alone YA Contemporary Romance (St. Mary’s Academy Book 6) – and isn’t that a monstrously long title that kindle used – is that it is both a wonderful YA romance as promised and a book that easily deserves five stars on a standalone basis. The bad news is that, despite what I just wrote, you’ll be making a major mistake reading this one as a standalone. The fun of this book is doubled by actually seeing Sophia in action, getting her real “wild-and-happy girl” days lifestyle, before Josiah came back into her life. Yes, that lifestyle is fully described in this book but it’s so much more “real” if you’ve seen her in action via the prior books (all of which are wonderful, by the way, so this is no hardship task). As for this book, it’s a lot of fun delving into Sophia’s true story as she learns it herself, seeing how Josiah impacts her both drastically negatively at first and then ultimately in a hugely positive way. A totally sweet and touching romance that’s perfectly plotted and written. I love Sophia’s gang of friends (each of whom have had their own sweet romances in prior books, even if you don’t need to have read them). I loved Josiah once he stopped being a jerk (which is early on). I loved this friends (even if there’s a desire for more) to lovers tale, and how the dynamics of Sophia’s family’s story plays out. At the end of this book there’s a hint of the next story to come (really just a hint – there is a wonderfully complete HEA). I can’t wait for it. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
It’s official. I am addicted to these books. I love each character and for all different reasons. The stories and plot twists overlap with each other and are perfectly combined. I need an unlimited amount of these stories.

Sophia is trying to fit in the world while rebelling against her mother strict control, she sneaks out, date a lot of boys but she is not happy. Only when she sings with Blue Persia, her band. During a concert in St Mary’s academy Sophia see a wonderful boy named Josiah who she met last year for only a few hours in Texas but they shared a very truthful kiss under a fake identity. His mad at her for lying and the confrontation makes Sophia lost her voice…. Can Sophia improve her grades in school, recover her voice and find herself with the help of Joe? A beautiful story about family, friendship, forgiveness and true love.
This book tells the story of a girl named Sophia Tiana Johnson. If you have read previous books you will recognize her from Bella & Cole’s band, bu you don’t need to read previous books to enjoy this one. Sophia has been sheltered her entire life. She is being raised by her widowed mom who is very into church, and is very hard on Sophia. Sophia’s mom wins the lotter and they move to New York where Sophia finally makes some real friends and is able to get a little wild. Josiah & “Joe” is Sophia’s cousin’s best friend. They had met each other briefly when she went with her cousin to a dance. This previous meeting for Sophia was the best hour of her life. Suddenly Joe shows up at Sophia’s current school and her world is turned upside down. Before Joe shows up Sophia was already going through ALOT and his being there doesn’t make her situation any better.
Seven Steps does a wonderful job developing each character and allowing them to grow. It was wonderful to be able to go on this journey with Sophia. Being there when she looses herself only to find a better her on the other side. I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t always a fan of some of the decision Sophia, her friends and family make, but that is what makes this book such a great one.
I would recommend this book to friends and family.

I love this author and this series.
These stories take me back and make me feel a part of them.
The characters and plot are so interesting.
I love a good HEA, not matter what the age.
This book seemed like a mystery because of all the secrets the characters were keeping. It really turned into a coming of age story with several love stories intertwined
