#1 New York Times bestselling author Susan Wiggs brings readers home to Avalon, a town nestled on the shores of Willow Lake, in a heartbreaking and uplifting novel that explores the bonds of family and the perils and rewards of love.
Sonnet Romano has the ideal career, the ideal boyfriend, and has just been offered a prestigious fellowship. But when she learns her mother is unexpectedly … mother is unexpectedly expecting in a high-risk pregnancy, she puts everything on hold and heads home to Avalon. Once her mom is out of danger, Sonnet intends to pick up her life where she left off.
But when her mother receives a devastating diagnosis, Sonnet must decide what really matters in life, even if that means staying in Avalon and taking a job that forces her to work alongside her biggest, and maybe her sweetest, mistake—award-winning filmmaker Zach Alger.
And in a summer of laughter and tears, of old dreams and new possibilities, Sonnet may find the home of her heart.
Don’t miss a novel of sisters, friendship and the lush surroundings of Sonoma County… Susan Wiggs’ The Apple Orchard. New York Times bestselling author Elin Hilderbrand calls it, “…sweet, crisp and juicy.”

Both heartbreaking and heart-healing, Return to Willow Lake touches deeply on home, family and what most matters in life. I loved it.
interesting story
You can’t go wrong with any of her books.
Almost as much as I was itching to read Daisy’s story in this series, I wanted to see Zach get his HEA. More than that, I wanted to see Zach get the girl of his dreams. So, for me, this was a cherry on my sundae after reading Marrying Daisy Bellamy.
Poor Zach has been through so much in this series. He’s always in the background and working …
Great read, love Susan Wiggs books
well written
Loved the setting and the story.
Like all of Susan Wiggs’ books, this takes you out of the real world and holds your interest because the characters are so interesting. Great read.
Loved this book as I have all the Willow Lake books .This is a continuation of the family at Willow Lake . Buy this book , could not quit reading it .
It’s a continuing story line with the same characters from other Willow Lake stories.
It was nice to read about Sonnet and her former boyfriend and how they get back together working side by side.
I recommend this to anyone that likes Susan Wiggs.
A great story of love and forgiveness
This is part of a series and so the characters start to feel like family members since you know them all. Fun to see them grow up and find love.
She is an awesome author! I live her willow Lake Series!
I’ve read all of the The Willow Lake series and enjoy the strong characters dealing with adversity, while still being a light read before bed.
I love this entire series and all of the characters. As with the other books, I hated for the story to end.
i just like anything she writes!!!
It is a great adventure book. Couldn’t put it down.
