A rogue with a silver tongue, a spinster with an iron heart, and the doorstep baby that brings them together.
Ambrose Ashbrook spends his life hiding. Even his family sees nothing but the roguish facade he uses to hide behind. But when he finds an abandoned infant, all pretense is upended with one look at her dimpled smile. Knowing his sister is better equipped to help the child, Ambrose climbs … the child, Ambrose climbs aboard a carriage bound for the country.
It’s only a day’s journey. An easy distance. Caring for a baby cannot be that difficult…
Mary Hayward despises flirts. One broke her heart, and she won’t allow that to happen again, so being trapped in a public coach with a chatty charmer is the last thing she wants. But when it’s clear the gentleman is struggling to care for his young charge, Mary has no choice but to lend a hand.
If only he would be quiet! A gentleman like him cannot possibly be interested in a plain spinster like herself…Could he?
It was supposed to be a quick and simple trip to the country, but fate had other plans for them. Can they tear down the walls protecting their hearts and find true happiness together?
Though part of the Regency Love series, each book is a standalone sweet historical romance and can be read in any order.

I have read all three books in this series, beginning with the middle book. I enjoy it and went back and read first, then the third of the series. When you love one book and you learn to love other characters in a series, you just have to know how it all turned out for them. M.A. Nichols puts me into the Regency world and I loved all three.
This series has drawn me in and reading late into the night. I think the H & h were well written. Each had their trails to overcome. They were a good match and I rooted for them. The writing, characters and dialogue were all great. As in each book there’s some food for thought either about love, sacrifice, growing as a person, duty, honor without moralizing or being heavy handed. My only wish is the scandal about the baby being the H’s wasn’t really addressed. It’s mentioned but since it’s set in Regency period I would’ve liked to read a solution to this or addressed directly. Since it certainly would affect the h, H and baby’s future. I was on pins and needles wondering how’s it end!
I’ve read 2 of these books but not sure I’ll read more. The author is very good but as I read so much I don’t buy many books over $3, especially series as it gets too expensive.
Good book overall. Got a little tired of her thinking she was worthless and didn’t deserve happiness. I know this is because of the way she was treated, bit it got a little old by the end. Thought the first part of the book was more interesting than the last. Took one star off because the epilogue wasn’t even an epilogue. Would have liked an epilogue that was in the future a few months or year, not like week.
A very captivating, page turning story. I really enjoyed the journey with them. I just hate that it ended. I kinda feel like it end unfinished and unresolved.
The Shameless Flirt (Regency Love #3) by M.A. Nichols is a sweet romance. An interesting plot which displays the customs and beliefs of the times, as well as main characters that are both complex and lovable, along with good writing, made an enjoyable read.
One of my all-time favorite books! This is a very unusual and original story, exceptionally well-written. It is a sensitive story that digs past the surface of attraction and roots to the deepest insecurities of the main characters. I also love the fact that the female lead is not incredibly beautiful. She’s just a normal woman, but he sees how incredibly special she is. I love many of M.A. Nichols’ books but this is my favorite.
This sweet story is well-written and not lagging in dialogue. I found all descriptors to be enjoyable rather than long-winded. I expected so many things to go wrong with the characters and I was not disappointed; however, I didn’t expect quite the twists and turns the characters took.
They turned they’re own daughter into a slave so that they could sell her pretty sister to the highest bidder. Cinderella was rescued by a card shark who forced his way into her life.

I enjoyed this book until the end. I didn’t like the ending. I felt like it was unfinished.
Good story and no yukky sex.
clean and fun!
I liked the plot of this story. I felt spotty for Mary, the older sister of the family. I enjoyed reading about how both Mary and the gentleman took care of her. I was, however, disappointed a little in the ending.
This is one of the sweetest love stories I have ever read. Ambrose was a flirt and flatterer to cover up his inadequacies. Mary was the plain daughter whose family thought she would never marry, so never bothered with her. Add an infant left on Ambrose’s doorstep.
They meet in a coach and Mary finds Ambrose intolerable first. They are forced to spend time together. Eventually, they both discover that they are both trying to cover up their past. By opening up their hearts, they help each other.
This is a wonderful story you will enjoy.
