I love each story in this series, and this one is not different. Henry is a recluse in his own right. Laurie Davenport is feisty and refuses to marry the man her father has selected for her. When these two meet, it only a matter of time before sparks fly. Interesting through all this, Henry remains the perfect gentleman.

Mr. Henry Catesby & the Rebellious Redhead is a short, sweet Regency romance. Henry, a loner, thinker, and astronomer, is being badgered by his brother to marry. Laurie has been promised to a much older, vile “gentleman” by her father. Both Henry and Laurie escape to the woods where they spend time in a long abandoned cabin. The characters and story are well written and could be enjoyed by anyone who likes Regency tales.
This is short, sweet and romantic. Henry is intriguing, oblivious and awkward. Laurie is determined, unusual and charming. They met at a cabin in the woods, both were trying to escape from people pushing marriage on them. They continued to meet, commiserated with each other and became friends. Until he broke her heart when she told him that her father betrothed her to a man she couldn’t stand. The end will put a smile on your face.

As she attempts to hide from her father to avoid this horrible fate he has planned, she finds the cottage that Henry is now using. Is there a way that they can both get the result they are hoping for?
This is a nice clean book with some humor in it to enjoy! The story line moves at a good pace, and the main characters are likable. Grab your copy and see how the two of them resolve their individual problems in a way that works out for each of them.
When Henry’s brother begins to daily insist that Henry marry, he searches for a place of peace. When he sees his brother coming toward his house again, he leaves and hides in the woods. While walking he finds a small cottage and decides to hide there every day.
Laurie’s father is insisting that she marry Lord Umbridge who happens to be twice her age and also has a very nasty personality. While trying to hide from her father she also comes across the cottage in the woods.
Henry’s reception of her isn’t at all welcoming because he wants solitude. Will they be able to find a way to each have what they need?
And what happens when her father betroths her to the man she can’t stand? You’ll love it.
