Prim and proper art gallery coordinator Elle Walser is no good at seducing men. Heck, she’s been throwing hints at her boss for months, but he’s completely clueless. Desperate to escape her mother’s matchmaking efforts, she comes up with a plan — buy some lingerie and climb into her boss’s bed. The plan goes brilliantly — until she accidentally seduces a sexy stranger instead. Bad boy nightclub … nightclub mogul Gabe Schultz just had the best almost-sex of his life. Too bad the smoking hot blonde thought he was his brother and bolted before he could finish what they started. Though her holier-than-thou attitude puts a serious damper his mood, Gabe’s never been one to give up on something he wants. And he wants Elle. But does a man who lives on the dark side really have a chance with a proper lady?

I have one word to describe the entire book — A mess. (We’ll take that as one word)
The female lead, Elle, was such a conflicted character and just all over the place. I understand having issues and parents that aren’t helpful or supportive but maybe get some help rather than project your issues on someone who isn’t at fault.
Roxanne, Elle’s …
Yikes, what do you do when you realize you slept with the wrong guy, why you make a run for it. Elle got into bed with Gabe, but she really thought it was his brother Nathan, ooops!
What follows is some of the best banter between them, the back and forth is both hilarious and exciting. Gabe wants her but she wants nothing to do with him, well …
It was such a fun and sexy book. I loved it and definitely recommend it. A great start to this series.
This is one of my absolute favorites reads. I have re-read this book at least 7 or 8 times and it’s just a fun, sexy and wonderful with each read.
This book has a lot to offer! It is a steamy read that you will have a hard time putting down!
Elle Walser’s plan is in motion, she has the lingerie, the condom, and the nervous stomach but before the night is over she plans to sleep with her boss and hopefully get her matchmaking mother off her back, at least with her boss she likes him. Of course best laid plans have away of going awry when the heated encounter ends abruptly with Elle …
Interesting characters and the author keeps you guessing.
By the time I was 30 percent through the book I was fed up with the heroine, Elle. She was really too prissy and pissy to be likable. Shortly after that, things got better and so did the story. That first part should be seriously edited at it went on and on and brought the book down. The last part was good especially the way Elle stood up to her …
Great love story. Fantastic characters.
Great book!
Just ok. The female lead annoyed me. The male lead was too perfect.
Read this a long time ago, don’t remember the details. It is an easy read and helps alleviate the boredom. It is like most of the author’s other books.
This whole series is just fabulous. You’ll wish there were more when you’ve finished them all!
Elle has had terrible taste in men. Her mom keeps setting her up with guys but they do nothing for her. She works in an art gallery with Nathan. She has had a thing for him since she started working for him. So after throwing out hints, she decides to surprise him in his bed and seduce him. But once there she realizes it’s not Nathan and she gets …
