INDY
I’m back in town but only because I have to be.
I’m here to help my mom bury my father.
And the sooner we get it done, the better.
Because I want to see Cade as much as I want a hole in the head.
He broke me once—no, he broke my everything— and I’ll be damned if I’ll let him do it again.
Get in and get out. That is the plan.
But you know what they say about best-laid plans.

Ok where to begin…. Let me start by saying by this is my first book by the author, it will not be my last. I didn’t really feel like this was a real MC book, but more of a second chance romance. This is the first book in the series. Now with that being said we are introduced to Indy and Cade who have been bestfriends sine they were 5.
There is an incident that happens that causes Indy to leave for 12 years. While she is gone she follows her dreams of becoming a doctor. When she gets the call concerning her father she comes home to be with her mom. While she is home it is inevitable that she would run into Cade. Cade has always known what and who he wants. Indy on the other hand has hidden all of her feelings and has never dealt with them. Let’s just say when the emotions come to a head the roller coaster of feelings come crashing down and she is faced with some things she never thought she would. When the two of them do come together the chemistry is still there and is hot!! Now all Cade has to do is make Indy realize she feels the same way.
I am looking forward to the next in the series, because I do need to see how everything pans out. Not just for Cade and Indy, but for the secondary characters as well.
