I loved seeing into the lives of Jason and Phil, even though it was heart breaking at some points.
Tracey was able to show that with the right support and love that you can make it through even the worst of times. I loved how this support wasn’t just from Jason’s love of Phil but from the whole family.
I can’t wait to read more about this family.
Jason and Phil have been together for ten years. Jason. Is a doctor who has the holiday off. He witnesses a hit and run and puts the baby in his car and tries to stabilize the mother. Jason will need Phil and his family. Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended. Awesome series
I love the Freeman family so much, so I was really excited to see a Christmas novella about Phillip and Jason was coming out. This story has all the fun antics of this family but with an added bonus to know more about Jason. Jason goes through some heartbreak, but Phillip and the family rally around him and help him heal. There is so much love in this family and to see the love Phillip and Jason have for each other was beautiful.
What a fantastic holiday novella!
I love Jason and Phil and this was a great peek into their lives.
I loved it!
A story with heartbreak, laughter, love and joy
Part of the Free To series, this holiday themed story centers around Jace and Phil. While you could enjoy this as a standalone, because there are spoilers here for the previous books and because of the complex history/relationships between the characters, IMO you’ll get maximum enjoyment if you’ve read the previous books first.
Told from Jace’s POV, I really enjoyed this opportunity to get to know him better, and through Jace’s eyes, to get to know Phil better, too. There’s so much more to their relationship than we’ve seen; they are true partners and I adore how they balance each other out.
As always, the secondary characters are great, and I love all the various relationships. The banter always makes me laugh and I can’t wait to get the next book.
A lovely Christmas addition to the series, as I’ve come to expect from this author, this is a story with heartbreak, laughter, love and joy. 5+ stars

Free To Rejoice was a short Christmas themed story of the dynamic between Jason & Philip. This is a sweet story with a lot of action and feeling. I could not put this book down. I absolutely love these two and can’t wait for the next installment of this amazing series. This entire series has been 5+stars.
I am absolutely loving this series from this author. This crazy, insane, loving, loyal, patchwork band of family is always an adventure and fun. These books are short but this author packs such a wallop in these pages that you don’t miss anything you just selfishly want more. This one is emotional for many reasons and the holidays intensify it. With fun to be had with gifts and teasing, family and friends it all makes Jace’s experience a little easier. As usual Phil is in the lead of the family antics and the one who gets to Keene. I love this crazy, intense, supportive family and learning more about them while they experience joy, success, love, healing and life. I can’t wait to read Corinna’s story.
