Christmas. A charming small town and a Scrooge that might have potential. Cassie Paige threw herself into her business — Cassie’s Confectionary & Cafe — after her husband left her a year ago, but she’s decided to make this a great Christmas on her own. Then her childhood crush arrives in Mount Honey Grove for the holidays, stirring up emotions she hasn’t felt in years. There are two things … years.
There are two things Trent Ellis dislikes — his hometown and anything related to Christmas. While home for a visit, a family crisis has him helping out at the local bakery. The owner, even with her love of Christmas, is making Mount Honey Grove a bit more appealing.
Can Cassie help Trent find joy in the holidays again? Will that be enough to heal her heart and bring them love under the mistletoe?

It was such a quick and easy read I just didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.
Sweet Romance
This is a sweet romance with likable and relatable characters. Cassie and Trent’s blossoming relationship is somewhat comical with his matchmaking mother keeping tabs on them. A good read to snuggle up with on a wintry night
I really enjoyed this sweet Christmas story. Cassie runs a bakery and ends up getting help from Trent, who is a doctor, because his mom hurt her back. Trent came home for a Christmas visit to see his mom and maybe even move back. I love the characters and the way the story is put together. Definitly will read again.
This was my first story from Juliet Bardsley and I absolutely loved it. this was a fantastic second chance holiday romance. Cassie is taking a break from love following her divorce and Trent is back to reopen his father’s clinic. Cassie and Trent’s story was a sweet love at first sight story. Mistletoe So Sweet was fabulously well written with wonderful characters readers will fall in love with. Fans of sweet romantic Hallmark movies with love this new holiday romance from Juliet Bardsley.

This book pulled me in and kept me entranced till the end. The feelings of love, hate, and pain coming out in waves making you want to cry while you read. This was such a beautiful book! I loved the characters’ wholesomeness!
Bardsley keeps it simple by appealing to the heart with Mistletoe So Sweet. Ever the optimist Cassie is about to come face to face to face with her first love. Can she turn a sour disposition into an everlasting romance? Trent and Cassie are a reminder that a little bit of TLC could be the beginning of a lifetime of happiness.
Trent sees no happiness during Christmas since his father passed on Christmas Eve 3 years prior to this story. When he comes home to see his mother, he meets her boss, a young woman he is immediately attracted to. Cassy was still recovering from a nasty divorce and had no interest in men. The book describes how they find their happily ever after.
A well-written story, with lots of humour and a good understanding of people with insecurities. It was fun to read, not too deep, just the right amount to keep one interested in the story and have a smile or laugh from time to time.

Meeting and falling for Cassie gave him another reason to stay. She once had a crush on this player in high school. But can he get past the walls she’s put up and prove that he’s changed? Old girlfriends get in the way and make Cassie suspicious. Will she trust that Trent is not like he was in high school and that he only wants to be with her? This was a sweet clean holiday romance about coming home again.

Trent does not like Christmas for a very personal reason, on the other hand, Cassie loved Christmas. You will love when Trent is trying to help Cassie and what is great the book is full of these kinds of moments. The author has written a fun holiday romance that is just the right book to read during the holidays. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Oh, such a sweet story! I really liked that, although each wanted more, they were both willing to be “just friends” until *both* were ready for more. Neither was pushing to prove they were anything but good friends.
I really loved their wishes, too!
I wish it had been longer only to stay in the world Ms Bardsley created! The story itself seemed paced well, though.

Cassie has been hurt in the past. Trent lost his father at Christmas so it’s his least favorite time of year. Circumstances keep throwing Trent & Cassie together. Will they be able to find love? This is a clean sweet read!

Mistletoe So Sweet – This is my first read by this author and OMG, what was she thinking? This really started so sweetly with really nice characters and interesting storylines. But then some unrealistic, stupid things/thoughts rushed out.
He’s a surgeon wanting to return home, but I don’t think the research was done to understand what extra it takes to become this medical specialist. So he’s downgrading from surgeon to GP? No, he would find a GP to go in business with him. True he can do both if the town is small, but being a surgeon is an ongoing craft.
To add further insult, it’s now the baker’s turn. In business a year, she now has six bowls of stuff ongoing, while she removes a running mixer from wet dough; all seven items have trashed the kitchen. Add to that her cookies are burning. The day before, the surgeon, while helping in place of his mother, lifts a running mixer and trashes the kitchen and causes havoc; mom’s an employee. He also burns cookies, which are decorated and taken to an event.
But to top all of the above, the surgeon tells the baker, let’s get tub cookies, they’ll never know. Now how stupid are these actions performed by professionals?
I lost all desire to finish this book since it entered the realm of stupidity and deception by professionals. I understand the author was trying to show them in love, but they lost their ever loving minds worse that first love teenagers. I contacted the author to review this silliness. For a good start and editing, it rates 3*, which means OK but two stars is too rough. This could have been such a lovely Christmas romance story.
